We stayed at the Sibley Inn for 5 days. Our family buried, my dear mother. I had called, I think, 5 times adding more rooms and longer stays. The owner was so understanding of the constant changes. They had such a good continental breakfast. Always different foods and great tasting foods at that. The beds and pillows were so soft. I plan to stay there whenever I come to visit my Dad. It was very, very clean. This is coming from a clean freak that I am.

Great service from staff at front desk and location was easy to get to and leave town from the next morning. Rooms were fine, nothing fancy. Odd odor though, maybe from someone cooking in their room(s)? Not sure, but it wasn't awful but not pleasant either...A few people, who I assume were staying there, drift in/out/around the hotel after dark which was a little sketch. Great steakhouse across the street - 1015 Steakhouse...Overall a budget-friendly spot in a small town.

My husband and I just spent 5 days at the Sibley Inn. We were therefor my nephews wedding, and the staff couldn't have been nicer. Deep at the front desk was not only friendly, but helpful with information. Gloria and Lourdes from housekeeping were lovely and kept our room immaculate. I was surprised at the nicely decorated room, as you don't always find that in smaller hotels that are not a brand hotel. The complementary breakfast was bot fancy, but adequate.The breakfast area is small, and I expected there would not be room for us, but there always was.The Steak Company Restaurant just down the block in walking distance is excellent. So if you need a place to stay in Sibley, I recommend this Inn. And it is about a 1/2 mile right off the highway 60.Rooms: Very clean.

- I was soo DISAPPOINTED! We always stay here when visiting family in the area and have had great experience in the past with clean rooms and friendly service. However, this time was the exact opposite. We were in town for a wedding and called to reserve our room about 4 mos prior, which was part of some blocked rooms for other wedding attendees. When we got to the hotel at 3pm on day of the wedding, the young man behind the desk was not friendly and said there was no room for us. He offered no apology or anything and seemed to absolutely not care at all. I found out a short while later that it happened to two others in our wedding group also. AND to add insult, he charged one of their credit cards the next day for the room they didn't get! I was appalled at their lack of concern over their mistake! Not sure if they were overbooked and so gave our room to a higher paying guest or just terrible at record keeping since I called direct and didn't go through the internet. I did talk to another person in our group that booked on-line and they almost didn't get their room because the hotel desk person wouldn't accept the confirmation number due to not understanding a shortened first name not matching legal name on CC. Do NOT trust you will have a room just because you reserved one!! Do not recommend staying to anyone because of the entire situation and their lack of care/response. It sucks when you are counting on having a room and then have to scramble at the last second for a plan b. Luckily we had family living in the area and could stay with them.Noteworthy details: I contacted the hotel asking for response before posting this review and they didn't even care enough to respond. TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!!

I came to the area for a work trip in Worthington, but after looking at the Sibley Inn Motel reviews decided to stay here rather than in Worthington, and I am so glad I did!This motel surpasses all of their glowing reviews. The location is perfect! The area is safe, clean, and quiet but within walking distance to local restaurants and a coffee shop.The lobby, common areas, and rooms are all extremely clean, this motel is cleaner than any motel or hotel I have ever stayed at and the price is perfect for the area.I would highly recommend the Sibley Inn Motel to anyone staying in the area!Rooms: The rooms are large, clean, and comfortable (as well as quiet).Safety: This area is extremely clean, safe, and quiet.Walkability: There are many local restaurants, bars, and a coffee shop within walking distance.Food & drinks: The motel offers a nice daily breakfast option from 6-9am and there are many local restaurants within walking distance.

My husband and I were travelling home from NW Iowa and stayed at the Sibley Inn for one night. Our experience was fantastic from the moment we walked in. Friendly staff saw that we wanted for nothing. Everything, everywhere was incredibly clean and spotless. The room was bright and warm and was just the right size for us and our two senior dogs. You can tell they put a lot of thought as to how the room was designed to meet every need. Modern and well appointed, the beds and pillows were first class and very comfortable. In our many years of travel, this has to be THE BEST hotel where we've stayed. Larger, "chain" hotels have nothing over the Sibley Inn. Quite reasonable rates too. We will be staying here whenever we make the trip again, and will certainly recommend it to family and friends who may be going that way. Do yourself a favor and stay at the Sibley Inn!

Stayed here for a couple days and I have to say, absolutely amazing. Staff was super friendly and helpful from start to finish. The rooms were very clean. The price we paid was worth every penny. It might be a small place that's a bit out of the way but do not let that fool you. It's a gem in the rough. We will always use this place when visiting family in the area.

The family that runs this hotel is the BEST! Always professional, polite, accommodating , and so welcoming! I was in town often while my mother was in the hospital and nursing home, and they never failed to ask me how she was doing, with genuine interest. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the beds provide a great night’s sleep! The price is unbeatable! My mom is now in a nursing home 55 miles from here; I am willing to drive 55 miles so I can stay here and give these people my business!

The staff were very professional and friendly. The rooms were large and very well taken care of. The beds were great. The recommendation of the steak house was appreciated. Great food.. I would recommend this motel to anyone staying in the area..easy to find and plenty of parking. The continental breakfast was nice, not just cereal and toast for sure. They should be very proud of their motel.

Great little Hotel, kind of a weird pet policy when it comes to cats but they've had negative experiences. Over all positive experience for me and mine. Good coffee, decent little breakfast. I loved the side access door with its easy to use safety features, so I could go in and out easily and frequently. Key card system is the absolute best, other places need to follow suit.

A little off the beaten path yet very affordable for a nights stay. It appears to be owned by new proprietors. Rooms were very clean, recently painted,floors were clean. The bed mattress was uncomfortable. A little disappointed by the renovations going on after 9 pm, however when we woke up the next morning you could not tell there was work being done the night before. It is a work in progress. If I were to be in the area again and need a place to stay, I would return. Staff was friendly.

The rooms are amazingly clean. The bed was firm and comfortable. My family brought their dogs and they provide a little dog bed and bowl which was very nice.The owners are very kind and welcoming. The breakfast is good and has a nice selection with at least 1 different option each day so you don't get bored of the food. We had sausage as an option one day then mini pancakes the next. Highly recommend.

Stopped here after reading the reviews on Expedia and they definitely were right! Incredibly friendly staff, clean hotels room, and the small town makes it extra fun.Probably not going to be an ideal family stop as there is not much to do, but would not be a bad place for a family to stay.It's a bit of a drive from some Worthington, but was worth the price difference!!I would definitely recommend this place!

This was an unexpected surprise! We stayed overnight on a road trip from Chicago to South Dakota. The gentleman at the desk was very friendly and helpful. The room was large and clean with a comfortable bed, and the hotel was very affordable. Bonus points for having a deep tub in the bath! We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. It’s a bit off the beaten path if you’re traveling on I-90, but worth going a bit out of the way for a welcoming experience after a long day of travel.

A great experience overall! The beds were comfortable, not too stiff or too worn in. The room was clean and tidy with nothing to complain about. The water in the bath warmed up quickly and the shower head had ample pressure.The staff was very friendly and accommodating! And a great price to boot! Would stay here again if in the area!

One of the nicest Hotels I've stayed at in years. The help/owners are unbelievably tuned into your needs!! The rooms are very clean and up to date. When I walked into our room the first thing I noticed was the neutral smell. You know, when you walk into hotel rooms there's a smell of some kind. Here. Nothing. Literally! The continental breakfast was nothing spectacular but I didn't expect it to be. The food was fresh, hot and well prepared, and it tasted great. We all walked out satisfied. If I'm ever in the area again I will definitely stay here, even if I have to drive out of my way.

WOW. The owner's sincere customer service gave the warmest welcome I've ever received at a hotel. I cannot emphasize enough, how thoughtful and genuine the owners/staff are. It comes through in their attentiveness to details, consideration of their guests, and in the personal touches found all around the property. This is simply the best 2-star hotel I've been in - and hands down, best customer service received, period. Thank you, Deep!Please note, I was in southern Minnesota for business and decided to drive out of my way to this inn, due to the low rates and high reviews. I was not disappointed.
