I LIKE THIS PLACE! I STARTED HERE ALL WEEKEND AND I SWEAR THEY HAVE CHESTERS CHICKEN BUT IT'S THE BEST CHESTERS EVER AND THEY HAVE OTHER OPTIONS WHICH ARE ALSO GOOD. THEY HAVE BREAKFAST. THE HAVE PLENTY OF PARKING. THE ONLY THING I WISH THEY HAD WAS A SHOWER OTHER THEN THAT. SPARKYS IS ON MY LIST OF FAVORITE TRUCK SPOTS

I gave it 3 stars, because it's big n clean, lots of parking. But that driver who started the blazed a few years ago, ruined what put sparky on the map, what made them popular. See you use to be able to come in, and get a hot home cooked type of meal, and it never was the same, it changed from day to day, chicken n rice, Salisbury, scallop potatoes n ham, so on so on. Now it's just Chester's chicken sure you can still get a hamburger from the hott lamp, but it's not the same. I remember a line to get there hot meals, now no line. It's sad. What was a fun place to sleep, and a hot meal, or even a stop n go. Is now at best ordinary...

A very nice truck stop. The parking lot was clean, the bathrooms were immaculate, and there was a lot of parking available. There was also a nice area to eat with lots of seating and a little store adjacent to the truck stop.

Nice bathrooms. Just wanted a hot cup of coffee on a very cold day, so got a hot cup of French Roast. It was just like those old vending machine coffees you get at rest stops and possibly the worst, most watered down coffee I've ever had. Is it really that hard to offer a decent cup of coffee?

Nicest truck stop to get stranded at, huge restroom. I guess there's a little local history here with a recent fire but nice remodel. Only one smashed glass door over by the Gatorade. Temper, temper.

Came in after driving all day from 630 to 7 in the evening. I assume the older gal at the counter is a manager or owner. I asked a simple question about the sales tax. Older lady was very short and rude withe after I asked a question. It's nice they are working on the place but they don't have much now due to remodeling.

Went there this am and they made me a breakfast sandwich. I got it and it was frozen. They don't have a microwave. How am I suppose to eat frozen food. Grabbed boiled eggs and they were slimey.

Clean. Easy bigrig parking. Kinda pricey. And for gods sake don't order anything that isn't all ready to go!! The people in the kitchen are complete buttheads and super slow 🐌 😒

They offer no Premium Gas. Everything has ethanol in it. Even the 87 octane. Plus gas pumps are a bit confusing one which gas to select and not cause damage to your vehicle.

I stopped here the day before the big fire was good before it happened.So the main store is not open yet but is working out of a temporary one. You can get fuel and gas, drink, food, and restrooms. The main store will be better than it was before when finished.

IT'S BACK!!! Sparky's One Stop off of HWY 20 burned down in November of 2021. Less than a year later, it is back open for business--although at a significantly reduced size. It's still a fine place to pull over and stretch your legs or walk the dog, and a popular stop for people headed North to Okoboji or East/West along HWY 20. There are what feels like acres of parking, and plenty of gas pumps. A smaller building has been constructed where the old one burned down. It's not quite what it once was, but at least this landmark rest stop is back in some form.

I don’t believe in embarrassing employees in front of customers. To yell, hey! This is the last time you’re gonna wear those jeans! To another employee, in front of 5-6 customers and several staff members was uncalled for by what I assume is management. The store was clean, the girl who got yelled at was the one cleaning up. I just think this is ridiculous and something should be done regarding it. She had one tiny, meant to be there, tear in her jeans. They didn’t look unprofessional at all and to be honest, your managers mouth is way more offensive than the girls jeans

New place is awesome! Lots of parking.Staff was very nice. Made to order breakfast that was cooked perfectly. They have hot box food ready to go also. I'm glad to see they reopened. Definitely recommend this truckstop.

BEST STOP EVER! We enjoyed the hot beef special and brought home a loaf of wheat bread. It was really nice to have a place to sit down and eat. I’m definitely making this our “pit stop” when heading East on 20.

We weren’t sure what to expect when we arrived here or if we would be able to eat lunch here. We were surprised to find they had a large selection of food and a seating area to eat. The cheese curds were delicious!

For many years it was a tradition to stop at this gas station to and from our travels, Today it completely BURNED to the Ground, I’m devastated, so many memories here from getting gas to walking our puppy Isabella in the open grass field to using the restroom to getting a chicken/mashed potatoe snack to having a delicious shake or smoothie from the blending machine to catching an Amazing Sunset, this just breaks my heart to know I’ll never be able to stop here again😢Staff was always friendly & helpful.Here’s praying they can rebuild.

This is a great place to lay over. Lots of fresh, hot food. Huge lot for parking, including truck parking. 3 Truck fuel lanes, showers, beer and a huge selection of other refreshments.

Very nice gas station. It felt safe and the inside was nice, clean, and had lots of good food options. There’s even a cute Sinclair dinosaur you can take pictures with.

Great truck stop. Plenty of fresh food options wether your looking for breakfast lunch or dinner. A decent variety of food and non food items in the store. Plenty of room in the parking lot if you need a place to park and recharge your batteries. They have showers so you can even freshen up. AAA++++ great place to stop.
