Had a relaxing a fun time with girlfriends. We sat in the hot tub and had mamosas. We went out to the pool area and had charcuterie we brought. There was a sauna. The showers were great to feel refreshed before heading home. Oh and the one hour massage was on a heated bed. I prefer not a lot of talking and my massage therapist picked up on that right away. She used essential oils and asked wee she could focus. After she mentioned areas that held stress and how she worked them out. Highly recommend!!

I recently visited the Spa for haircut, full highlight, and a blowout by Stacy. She did such a wonderful job making me look and feel fabulous, I will definitely be back! In February I received a relaxing facial from Kaitlyn. With the combination of quality natural Eminence skincare line and Kaitlyn’s expertise, I cannot wait treat myself again to a spa day. I am an employee of Riverside Casino & Golf Resort and am leaving this review as a paying guest.

Sarah was great! 60 minutes of an amazing massage! Perfect pressure. She was very professional and always checking in to make sure the massage was where it needed to be. I would highly recommend her. She loves what she does and it really shows,

The staff was friendly and helpful. I had and hour massage with Kera she did an amazing job. She made me feel so relaxed and hit all my tense spots. I like the amenities they have for you, soap, shampoo and conditioner in the showers, blow dryers. The hot tub and sauna are nice didn't get to use because I forgot my swimming suit.

Our spa day was lovely. I had THE best massage (and I’ve had many over the last 20+ years!). Mahaylee was so knowledgeable, professional, and truly helped me. The facial was terrific as well, and I love the products Aubrey recommended. Unfortunately, the hot tub wasn’t working, and my daughter and I didn’t feel comfortable using the hotel hot tub. We also expected to be able to order lunch and eat it in the spa, but that was no longer available (still advertised on the web page). We enjoyed the cold room after lovely showers, and then it was time for our pedicures. While the pedicures were nice, the seating wasn’t. After all the details, from the cozy robes, comfortable slippers, chaise chairs, and luxurious amenities, the pedicure area felt like an afterthought. The bench chairs weren’t comfortable and definitely didn’t fit in with the other amenities. This would have been a 5 star review, but not being able to use the hot tub, not being able to have lunch in the spa as advertised (we would have been there longer…), and the uncomfortable bench seating for the pedicures are the reason it’s not. Despite these, I do recommend this spa, and I hope the address these issues.

I love the spa at Riverside! Jessica has done my hair for a long time. She takes the time to make sure she knows how you like your cut. Goes above & beyond. Always pleasant & always smiling! During the pandemic the spa has been so professional in keeping it a safe environment. Katie, the spa manager is always so sweet & does a great job keeping the spa a place you always look forward to coming back to! Thank you ladies!

First time at a the spa and it was wonderfully relaxing. Kera was my therapist. Nice high end amenities, though I would have loved to be shown the sauna, hot tub, and pool on my tour, as I would be/have been more likely to use them. I will definitely go again!

My facial was a very relaxing experience and my aesthetician was friendly and professional. I noticed an improvement in my skin the next day. She didn’t push products on me but offered goood suggestions when I asked.I was able to use the spas private pool and infrared sauna before my appointment, and swam in the hotel pool afterwards, which were all included in my service.The front desk manager worked with me patiently for a good time to schedule another facial. Thank you Alexis and Katie! Looking forward to next time.

I went to get my nails done and showed up early and got in right away. Sharon the lady that did my nails kept asking me if I was ok and made sure to keep chatting with me the entire time that I was getting my nails done. Thank you for all the help with my nails and this is an amazing place to get your nails done and get massages there.

This place is a gem! Very clean & kept up to date. Excellent experience from start to finish. Easy to call and make reservations, their reception staff is always friendly and eager to assist. Quiet & relaxing.I've had several services in the past few years including maternity massage, hot stone massage, and waxing. Professional & skilled staff. Prices are reasonable and comparable to the Iowa City area.Make it truly an experience and book a spa day for yourself with friends/family. Order lunch, use the amenities, and just relax. I promise you won't be disappointed!

I decided to give the nail services a try, since I have gone to the spa for massages in the past, and have always had great service. Well, not so much this time with this particular service. I had called and booked a 4PM shellac manicure, and the person taking my reservation repeated it back to me, but when I arrived, the staff seemed to be expecting me at 4:15. Okay no biggie, I can wait a few minutes. But then when I was seated at the manicure table, the technician wasn't expecting to do a shellac manicure, just a basic one. So then she had to prepare to remove the existing shellac from my nails, which took a long time. When I asked to have my nails trimmed just slightly, and shaped, she trimmed them, but did not really shape them out very much. And cuticle care was minimal. Then when she applied the shellac, it came out VERY uneven, and a little "gloppy". At this point I allowed her to finish the job just so I could get out of the salon (it was an hour and a half just to get to this point). I paid my bill and tipped the technician, as she WAS very nice (if not very experienced), and I did have 'service' performed. Then I went home and got out my own nail care tools and at least shaped the nails out so they did not look like shovels and were at least even. The shellac polish is VERY UNEVEN, with it being very thin on one side of the nail, and very THICK on the other side of the same nail ( it ran to the sides of the nail and pooled) And all of the nails are this way. I will have my regular salon deal with getting them back into proper shape. Needless to say, I was disappointed with the nail service here, considering my very positive experiences with the spa in the past. It really was less than top notch, sorry to say.

Its such a great place for personal services. There are a couple of things lacking for me. It would be nice to have a male massage therapist on staff; The availability of the spa (sauna, hot tub, lounge, showers, etc.) should be increased. It is very hard to keep a facility going these days with all of the cleaning that is necessary, but it seems reasonable that a larger price could be charged for day passes, so these old bones could get some relief. Those facilities btw are perfect. Always clean. I think 50 dollars a day for a pass would be reasonable. But maybe that still isn't enough! Its unfortunate, because having that available would certainly bring me to the facility and the Casino more frequently. The staff are so very very helpful, talented, and provide the very best services in the Salon.

The Spa at Riverside is one of my favorite hidden gems. They not only offer great spa services but the hot tub, sauna, pool and relaxation area are a great added bonus. The whole team is extremely friendly and goes above and beyond to make sure it was an enjoyable experience. And to top it off, it’s very clean. Definitely recommend. I have never had a bad experience.

We had a wonderful experience! Girls weekend Spa getaway! Could not have asked for a better experience! Better than our best expectations! Girls were super friendly, the spa area is amazing! Modern, comfortable locker room with secure lockers, cushy robes, steam showers, ice room, hot tub, dry sauna, relaxation room, pedi, mani, massage OH MY!! We left feeling very pampered. Definitely recommend and I'll definitely be back!!

The spa is easy to book and I love that they use Aveda products. I got a facial and a massage and both were the best I’ve ever had, I can’t wait to go back. I highly recommend!

Got an infection while I was there from the Mani Pedi I received I called and told them they should be responsible for paying for my doctor bills and medication they put me on and they refused so I ended up having to file a lawsuit !
