The first time we ate here it was an insanely great experience. The same can not be said for my second time. Drinks ordered that never came, an entire pizza they didn't make from our order and when ordering the 7 meat pizza it recommends the thin crust but because of how greasy this dish is the crust was literally non existent because it was just a greasy mushy mess. I'm not sure why they'd recommend anything like that for this dish but I think a regular crust would have been a better recommendation considering there would be more of a chance you'd get one at all. The pizza took an hour and 15 minutes from the time we ordered it to get to our table.... over all it wasn't terrible but had a much better experience the first visit. Will be giving it another shot soon.

We found this treasure while just driving through the super small town of Ridgeway, IA. We had the pleasure of dining on delicious food and meeting an attentive and sweet waitress. We all enjoyed this experience and highly recommend anyone near and far to stop in this delightful restaurant!Dietary restrictions: They offer a surprising number of gluten free options

Very friendly staff. Food is great. I would recommend not ordering too many fried foods because the batter they use can be overwhelming as they use it for all their fried foods. Bf loves their fish frys. The fish comes in smaller chunks than were use to but it's thick and battered just enough without overdoing it. I love the green bean fries but I will say they should use less batter on them but very delicious. LOVE their pizzas. We usually get Da Protein with extra sloppy Joe on top(their fn sloppy Joe's are PHENOMENAL with flavor!!) The biggest downfall of this great place is that unfortunately they seem to be regularly understaffed so some night the menu changes and you may not be able to get the fish or other options besides pizza or appetizers. With this, I just wish they would update their Facebook site or soemthing whenever it happens so people can expect these changes before making the trip(tonite we were going for fish and ended up with appetizers instead which was very disappointing) but I do understand the shortage of help. Definately worth stopping for some great pizza and friendly atmosphere.

I have never had a bad experience at Fireman's Inn. Keri, the owner, and her crew make you feel right at home. Not to mention the pizza is stellar and the daily specials will knock your socks off.20/10 would recommend for lunch

I came from Arizona to visit family there in Iowa. I've been gluten free for 15+ years and have had MANY pizzas during that time. This was by far the best I have ever had. Who knew that I just needed to travel to Iowa for great pizza. The regular pizza that the rest of my family looked magnificent too. Staff was wonderful too! Great experience!

Great small town pub/grill with good food menu and fantastic pizza! Service has been top notch even at busy times. Definitely a local favorite along with people like me that drive 15 miles (or more) to eat. Full bar that includes local craft beer and some visiting taps as well. Our second visit was on a Friday night and there was a wait. However, that is never a problem because it is easy to grab a refreshment of choice and visit with the nice people around you. Definitely worth the drive to check out - especially the taco pizza!

The pork tenderloin is the BEST I have ever had in my life!! I have ordered 4 or 5 in two weeks because they are so good!! The staff is always very friendly and confirms orders over the phone to verify you get your order correct. I've met the owner, staff, and head cheif, and they are great people!

Amazing food... The pizza, pretzel, prime rib, steak, green beans all of it is great. I live on the other side Iowa but every time I come back to visit my fiance's family we come here! Service is friendly and fast and your drink is always full. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Good food! We went on a Saturday for dinner. Between the three of us we got the poutine, a chef's salad, chicken wrap, and cod sandwich and it was plenty. Really enjoyed everything, though the fries didn't really work in the poutine...they were way too big.

I've lived here for a while, and all I can say is the food here is great. Anyone on the road near this town, come down and try the our town's best food. Good service, fast cooking. It does get packed a lot, so it can take a while on busy nights as there are only a few workers. Five star rating!

Really good food and drinks!! Kinda long wait (around an hour or so when it's really busy) for orders. Friendly staff! There's also little swords (like 3 inch swords) that are usually included with specific drinks (Shirley Temple for example for the cherries). I'd highly recommend!!

We really enjoy coming here. The pretzel is a great appetizer. The taco pizza is delicious. They have a nice selection of draft beer and it’s always cold.

First timer at the Firemen's Inn, and I have to say that this was an all around great experience! The waitress was very polite, helpful and pleasant. I had the Sweet Swine pizza with added banana peppers and it was delicious. We received our food promptly after ordering, and hot. The order was completed accurately in every detail. If you are anywhere near Ridgeway, IA and hungry, make a point to stop in here!

Very slow service. Waited 20 minutes to take drink order for 3 of us. Waited another 15 minutes to get them. Ordered fryer food and waited another 45 minutes. Waited another 20minutes for the bill, and finally had to go ask for it, but even the waitress had no idea what we had. Deer in the headlights.

Frozen appetizers sent them back came out with same plate and said they come out cold so they don't get over cooked they were cheese wontons, special for the night Mongolian beef 16.00 dollars a plate for frozen veggies and paper thin beef ......
