If I could give 0 stars I would. I have been in this store several times and when you walk in you are greeted with sighs and eye rolls. At times I’ve come in, there were kids running around playing and almost ran into me while holding my baby. They apparently know the clerk since she tells them see you guys at home when they finally leave. The last incident happened today when she accused my kid of stealing when we just purchased the item at the dollar general down the street. I even asked the employee from dollar general for a copy of the receipt but could not print so he called this store and spoke to the clerk and told them we just purchased. And it’s not even the same item that they sell so it should t have even been an issue in the first place. While I was dealing with that inside, an employee gave my kid the bird while he was waiting in the car. They are unprofessional and rude and act like helping customers is an inconvenience that part of their job. They will sit on the phone while you stand around waiting for help. I could go on and on but today is the last and final day my family and I will EVER shop there.

I just stopped at the Dollar Tree/Family Dollar in Pocahontas, Iowa. This is the cleanest and most well-stocked Dollar Tree I've EVER visited. Very pleasant staff. Wish I had time to browse every aisle!(08/20/23, 2:15pm)

Went there during Ragbrai and walked away from my car for less than three minutes and several employees yelled at me because I was walking away from my car to go talk to someone else whose car was also parked there for Ragbrai. Even though the store is clean. I won't shop here ever again due to the rudeness of several employees.

Great place, staff are super friendly and prices are really good! However, some products aren't always in stock, and you can sometimes find the same product across town for 25c cheaper.
