The customer service at Hy-Vee is always awesome but on this trip I was going in to get breakfast and I saw the kitchen manager preparing and fixing a customer's food with no gloves on I asked one of the managers at the desk was this normal and she told me to ask the kitchen manager and when she pointed the lady out it was the same lady that was preparing the food with no gloves on, I did not get breakfast. This 8/23/23 around 7:50 am. An associate was nice and helped me locate an alternate pastry for breakfast.

🛒Self checkout is fantastic at 6 AM in the morning when the store opens! The Hy-Vee Brand (Caramel Cream) bagged ground coffee smells oh so good and it's absolutely delicious with just milk !!! ☕🍶The nice spacious area makes me want to come back again and again. I love everyone reading this. Bless you in the name of Jesus christ.

Rotten OUT dated food. Especially chicken, pork and dairy. BEWARE OF SALES. MOST ITEMES EMPIRE THE NEXT DAY. THEY DONT POST EXPIRED DATES ON MEAT!! BOUGHT CHICKEN , CHEESE, PORK ON SALE ROTTEN!!! GOT TIRED OF TAKING ITEMS BACK, FINALLY DECIDED TOO SHOP SOMEWHERE ELSE LIKE FAREWAY. PERRY IOWA HYVEE STORE IS A NIGHTMARE.

The store itself was clean and fairly stocked. With that being said, if I had a choice to go someplace else on a Sunday I would. Only because I dislike self checkouts that much. And they only have 2 regular registers and the rest are self checkouts.

I only give it a 2 because of the employees. But every time I have gone into the dairy section there has been expired food. On today (July 1st) I went in and there were cheese cubes that had expired on June 5th. Right in front. A few other times it was sour cream dip, milk, yogurt etc. I’m extremely cautious when I do have to shop there. I also found moldy fruit today. The bathrooms are extremely messy.

Hy-Vee is always helpful with any problems and open on Sundays when needed, and automatic registers for those in a hurry.

We stopped here on our way to Betts Family Reunion in Coon Rapids from Brookfield, Missouri. Hy-Vee was our cook for an invite with Old Fashioned Potato Salad, American Macaroni Salad, and Baked Beans. All received with smiles and tasty seconds.The store was very clean, plus inviting inside and out. These travelers will stop by again. Thanks for being easy to locate.

My son Gerardo is one of the most talented and most hardworking employees in Hy-Vee. He is super caring, nice and most importantly he never gives up. On his days off he not only helps the community out but he also works out at the Rec center for at least 3 hours every two days. Wherever I look I always see him smiling and him putting a smile on many customers faces and many employees as well. In my mind Gerardo deserves as least a bonus or something that would lead Gerardo to the top of the Hy-Vee podium or being one of the best employees in Hy-Vee I should say. In conclusion thank you Hy-Vee for changing my son into a more hardworking and talented person and again I hope my son can become one the greatest Hy-Vee employees in your book.

I got in on the 50% off the garden flowers. The lady the checkout was very friendly and spoke to me the whole time. I am sorry I forgot her name. The lady who was putting my flowers in boxes for me was very friendly and pleasant. Her name is Amber. She helped me to my car and helped me load them as I had a lot. Thank you. Hy-Vee for always having friendly people to help out. Thank you to Amber again for her help!!

Even though it's a small town Hy-Vee, they are always stocked and clean. Everyone is helpful and kind. The only reason for 4 stars is you really have to pay attention to expiration dates due to some things not getting pulled when they are suppose to.

Removing the deli portion is a huge disappointment. Not one of my favorite HyVee stores, seems to really be lacking choices in product. The meat counter and produce are fair. The store is clean, and the staff are very friendly. Access in and out gets to be annoying that’s for sure. Overall it could use some improvement, but it’s nice to have the store. So we try to always be supportive.

I love this store for all of its amazing friendly, helpful, personable employees. I hate the fact that my special diet prevents me from getting most of my food here. I usually have to go to des moines for the specialized diet section. Corporate says this location is too small and not busy enough to accommodate to one person, which I completely understand! But that's why 4 stars and not 5. I do get a lot of food for the rest of my family here though.

Only a three star review because of pricing issues 3 of the last 5 times Ive shopped there. 2 were because they failed to remove sale tags and once because i bought three pizzas, two specialty ones and one plain cheese of a different brand and the cashier rang all three up as the higher priced specialty pizzas. Update: Things seem to have gotten better as there have not been any other issues as of late so for now I can honestly give a five star review.

If you shop at this HyVee, make sure you check the dates on everything. I always find expired lunch meats, cheeses, and other dairy products. Just this last time I shopped there, I forgot to check the date on the Jimmy Dean sausage that I bought and it’s nearly a month expired.

Hy-Vee in Carroll Iowa is a nice store it is clean the associates are very helpful if I can't find something and Associate will take me right to the item in the aisle they do not just say oh I'll 4 or whatever the meat department is very clean the meat is fresh. I enjoy shopping there the variety is good I've noticed that since the covin virus the prices have gone up and there are times that the inventory is low. I have not been able to get any buffalo wings in months but that is supply and demand. I think the flower department is great I also use the liquor department I have no problems with the store or the pharmacy. All in all I would say it was a great experience.
