Good selection for a small town and it is one of the stores we can find some non-animal tested brands at as well as a few free range organic options. Appreciate the helpful staff and small feel compared to the only other option on Sundays *but* have always, always had a problem at any HyVee in a city or small town with honoring their sales specials. For some reason they often are not in the system or are not in there at the correct price and if you go through self-checkout or aren't watching the monitor with a cashier you feel a bit duped when you get out and yes, this happens even if you put in your "fuel saver" card.

Good store for the size of the community. They have way too many Hy-Vee brands, which can not compare to brand names in terms of taste. But, they do have some nicer items Walmart does not carry.

Do not get the kitchen food. Got there at 1:00pm and it was all very old and disgusting food. They don't even know what they are serving (said I was getting buffalo bites, and it was barbecue). The gravy had about a quarter inch of stuff on top (when it cools it gets that crust) and instead of at the MINIMUM stirring it they just scooped it on top. Then I get to the beans and they were exactly what I expected. All of the food was cold and gross. But I want so give the manager CJ for being one of the best people I've had to deal with. Even though the kitchen is far from being decent at best, I would come back just for his great customer service and professionalism. His hospitality was enough to go from 1 to 4 stars. I have complete confidence he will get this place on track!

Will not shop here again. Got our to car and seen some things wasnt in the items I purchased. So went back in store to see where it was. They had it sitting up somewhere. Than I get home and was other items missing as well. Pretty bad when their baggers cant even bag groceries and make sure the customer gets their items. For real didnt give me 2 bags of my items. Got one back but didnt realize other items were missing intell we got back to knoxville. Incompentant worker that cant do his job right. So angry cause what is missing was for snacks tonight. Asian girl was cashier nice girl but the bagger screwed up.

I love Hy-Vee in General, but this store doesn't live up to the standards of most Hy-Vees. I other find expired items on the shelves and the meat department and milk cases smell bad. I try not to have to shop here. If I have to, I pay very close attention to the expiration dates on items.

We stop at this store to pick up a few items we can't find locally. The store is clean, I usually use the restroom, they are very clean and fully stocked.The employees are very nice, engaging in conservation, but not pushy in any way, knowledgeable about where a particular item is located. Not all stores are set up exactly the same. It's easy to find off hwy 169. I enjoy stoppingby, and will continue to do so.

Let me start off by saying I do not normally shop at this location. I was picking up items for someone and couldn't find what I was looking for. There was a hyvee employee in the same aisle and I asked her if she knew where the item was located she just shrugged " I don't know either". It was really dumb because I was in the correct section but it was a special edition item so they had put it somewhere else instead of with everything else of the same thing. It was very unhelpful and I ended up giving up and checking out. The cashier did offer to have someone go look for it, but I didn't have any more time at that point.

Great grocery store, fresh produce selection and the employees are helpful. Only minor issue we have found is that we have to check the dates on refrigerated products because several times we’ve accidentally purchased items that were expired. They are good about exchanging the items if we take them back.

Very friendly staff. I've never had so many people ask me if I needed help finding something. Overall pretty small store but not surprising based on the size of the town. However the store was well stocked, organized, and clean.

We went there to order two 1/2 sheet cakes for my son's grad party,she helped us, showed us what we would like to look at. They should be ready next Sunday maybe I'll update this with some photos...She was so helpful!

It's what you'd expect from a midwest grocery chain. Pretty has has all your basic needs plus a few extras, But don't expect much in the way interesting new items, or much of anything in the way of spicy foods/ingredients. Pretty slim...BUT fantastic staff, the pharmacy is great and I do a lot of my shopping there. The stuff on sale/specials tho, keep an eye on, some of it's rather wonky.

Helpful smiles everywhere. Not a large HyVee but it does have most of the staples.Store always seems clean to me and they try to keep the check out lanes moving.No self checkout.Redbox sits outside the store.

Kitchen gave us a cold platter of boneless wings! No instructions on the container. We were NOT told they would be cold and had to call them to ask why they were cold. 250 at 20 minutes. Why wouldn't I just buy wings in the freezer instead. Ridiculous!Updating review after re-heating to the kitchens specification. Wings were soggy and very tough. I know that sounds odd, but that texture was disgusting. We ended up throwing the wings away. Never buying wings from Hy-Vee again.

What an experience. My wife & I came into town for the Tulip festival - and were at the hotel next to this store. As per usual, we went in & made a beeline to the beer section. It was located conveniently next to the deli - brilliance on the behalf of management. Beer, burritos, cheese, and of course - chicken tenders. Yay! The night was great & made to be full circle after a brief stop of the bakery for some Danish bliss treats. Great store, 24 hour service, & clean.

Great place! Clean store, friendly & helpful staff, very quick service. They are always available and willing to assist or answer questions. Selection is good but not great...very limited selection of “good for you foods”... ie low fat foods or “baked chips”...but this is improving some over time as well.

I like the customer service in this Pella, IA store. The staff was very helpful and would break off from what they were doing to go find something for me. It is a smaller, more crowded store than those in the bigger city of Des Moines. They also have a separate location for liquor and craft beers which is a bit inconvenient. They just don't have the space for it all in one location.

Pella IA hyvee is good place to shop. This year the Garden Center looks Very Good. And the Prices are reasonable For the plants. Food Prices could go down. 05/2022

Ya know the more I shop in Pella the more I think I need to move there !!! The Hy-Vee seemed to have everything we needed today! They even beat out all the places I normally shop in Knoxville ...3/23/22 still a fantastic to shop and once again way more stuff than the Knoxville store and much cleaner + the employees go out of their way to help you with a smile 😊
