The store is nice and clean. Shelves are well stocked. Friend walked in with her yorkie that is a registered service dog with visible ID. When entering the store an employee loudly shouted at my friend, is that a service dog? No need to shout, across the store. she could have come over and ask politely. We read the service dog signage outside the store . No need to create a scene.

This concerns the meat department. My husband and I were waiting to order something and we stood there and not one person asked us if we needed help. One guy helped someone who came up after us and took her order why he ignored us. We came close to just walking away. That was so rude to just leave us standing there as long as those men did and not even asked for our order. I will not go to that meat department again. Here in knoxville your helped as soon as you step up to the counter. Oh and no one else was waiting just me and husband. Rude is what they were.

Visiting Pella for a few days, saying this grocery store is impressive would be an understatement. Clean, stocked, organized, great prices, clean staff. I went to leave with a small cart, nice kid took the cart to my car and loaded it, took cart back - caught me off guard. Very glad I stopped here instead of the nearby box store alternative.

They don’t seem to carry the better brands and quality cuts of meat that the DSM Fareway stores do. In fact two different times, once yesterday, I have purchased pork here that was over the line for not-fresh and actually was funky smelling. But the worst is that they don’t enforce mask rules, so I am done with this store now.

Fareway is the only place in town I can find 2lb bags of my whole bean coffee. Wonderful grocery selections.Great prices, friendly staff, amazing cuts of meat. Glad to have one in town

It's Fareway - what's not to love? Stores are small allowing you to get in and out quickly, but still have everything you need. The meat counter is the claim to fame, and it never disappoints. Friendly staff!

Not the most modern looking store, but by far the best as far as customer service. They have a great meat department. They prepare Meats anyway you want them or have them available for you to choose from. I have never been disappointed by their meats and have compared them with other stores in the area and taste-wise, they are terrific. They also wrap meat really nicely in plastic and then paper so that if you freeze it, thawing it out won't make a bloody mess.One of the things I love about Fareway is that when the other stores have a sale, they will match the sale for you without you having to prove the sale. I cannot say the same for the other grocery store in town. They require that you prove the price at Fareway. So I can read all the sale Flyers and then head off to Fairway knowing I will get all the sale prices.I have celiac disease and have to adhere to the gluten intolerant diet and they have plenty of products which support me. However, their prices do not reflect the best prices in town. Unfortunately, I feel I need to shop at the other store to get the best price. I can save as much as a dollar fifty on the bread. So when they lower their prices I will buy my bread from them too.Their organic produce is not very varied yet but they are improving.They always take your groceries out to the car. Even if you only have one bag they carry it for you unless you insist to do it.The last thing I want to say that is a positive for me, but perhaps not so important for other people, is that they close on Sundays honoring the Sabbath day plus they close on holidays to give their employees time off. This says alot to the ownership of the store. I am very grateful for this aspect and for this one reason I have kept shopping here for the 10 years I've lived in Pella.

Stopped today and picked up a few things. Was surprised this afternoon by a young man who worked for Fareway. This young man was getting out of his car on his way into work went out of his way across the lot to tell us have a great afternoon.
