Very nice place for a small town and very busy. Had the Nut and Honey burger and she had the Hot Beef. Both were well cooked and flavorful. Service is a little slow but seemed to be because of short staffing, nothing to do with the server. Good selection of beverages and a large menu which includes a salad bar. Pool table, darts and a few other games. Pretty well stocked bar. Would definitely come back.

Ordered two carry out meals. Waitress calls back after placing our order and says that the cook forgot to make the one order but didn't know what we ordered. We told them again what we wanted. Got home and opened this. Everything was thrown together and mainly was eating burnt chips. Hardly any toppings. We order from here ALOT and I was not pleased with our experience today.

I had a wonderful experience at 209 Main. The burger was juicy and flavorful, with fresh toppings and a soft bun. The salad bar was well-stocked and had a variety of options, from greens and veggies to cheese and nuts. The pizza was also delicious, with a thin crust and generous cheese and sauce. Great did and great atmosphere.We stopped in a Wednesday 4pm and it was dead... Waited a while to be recognized.Cheese curds were great... Pizza and boneless wings...a check or two back at the table more would have been nice but other than that, great place.

Our first visit but won't be our last. Had a party of 6 and were very impressed with the service, food quality and quantity, and the price. I had a steak. Ordered it rare but was more medium rare. But it was very good.Parking: On street parking was available very near. But we were early on a Saturday evening.

You must check out 209 Main If you’re ever near Paton, Iowa. Great food and great people. The appetizers are all good! I have not had a bad meal here. The atmosphere is great and I will definitely be back!Parking: Plenty of parking.

Great food! Great service!Several visits in and never disappointed. Burgers, apps, brunch, and desserts have all been excellent. Would recommend the white cheddar and bacon dip as well as the toolbar burger and the. If you're going for brunch the country fried steak is one of the best.

My wife and I headed here in search of a good burger. Hit it. I had a mushroom n Swiss and wife had the 209 burger. Both were done perfectly. We had onion rings for an appetizer. They had a little too much breading but overall were good. The chipotle ranch dip had a pretty good kick. Would recommend this place and we will return again.

Hit this place at ten minutes until 9 on a Friday night. Our server was a sweetheart and the food was great!! Don’t be afraid to try that burger with peanut butter on it—YUM! Salad bar had nice homemade surprises. Good drinks and a good time!

5 of us walked in, we're told 45 minute wait due to lack of wait staff. No problem, we got drinks at the bar and sat at one of the many empty tables near the bar. A very rude waitress told us we couldn't sit there due to the short staffing. Long story short, we walked out and will never return.

Went on a Sunday at noon. Wasn't busy at all. Had a very nice waitress but did not receive our meals until 1:50!! And they were not well prepared!! Yalked to the waitress, she felt horrible as she knew the food was not up to par.....there was trouble in the kitchen! We knew something wasn't right as we have never had bad food before and have ate here many, many times. Waitress made it right for us, extra right which was greatly appreciated, we tipped her well as we knew the kitchen issue was not her fault but she was having to carry the weight. Hope they can figure it out!!

We had 209 Main cater our event last week for about 60-70 people. Both the food and the service were amazing! Jason (the owner) was on top of it from first contact all the way through the clean-up. He arrived right on time and quickly set everything up. He cooked the salmon on-site, and the other entrees we picked were piping hot when they arrived and stayed hot all night until it was all gone. We had the salmon, bourbon chicken, and beef entrees along with a side of macaroni and cheese and garden salad. It was all delicious. Highly recommend!
