My wife and I are seniors. Carol having turned 80 this year, and myself, 77. We moved to the area from Garland, TX in Dec of 2019 along with our feline rescues. Ever since moving to the area, we have utilized Highview's wide range of services on a number occasions. In all of our many years of working within the animal rescue world, we have worked with many vets. None, ever provided the level of service, let alone demonstrated the skill set and depth of knowledge that we experienced with Highview and it's staff. Especially, with most recently, our highly fearful, yet loving, (and highly fractious), 15.5 lb, 6+ yr old male tabby, we call Homer, who was in bad need of a good grooming. As he likes to be called, Dr. Tom, accepted the challenge without reservation. His range of skills, knowledge, etc., let alone the wide range of pets and farm animals he cares for us is mind blowing.

We have been bringing our pets here for 20 years. Would never consider going anywhere else. 40 minute drive each way well worth it. Tremendous staff. Not a single disappointing visit through 4 pets and 20 years. We board our dogs here too. Very reasonable prices on all services and pills but that is not the reason we take our pets here. Competent, caring, and friendly. This is a very good place and I highly recommend.

The Pollack family and their co-workers are very caring people!If an emergency comes up, Tom will assist you and your animal(s) after regular business hours.I recommend them 100% for anything you need be it for your farm animals to your family pets. This is a top notch vet hospital. Entire staff is small town Iowa friendly. I haven't had an animal emergency and dealt with them yet...but I imagine they will handle it with great professionalism and empathy. They have my business for life.

whoever answered the phone on 02-01-23 is rude and doesn’t care about customers or their animals. I ran out of food for my cat I called them to see if they had heard anything from chewy and the woman on the phone was snippy and short. do better. I’m just trying to feed my cat.

The veterinarian (Dr. Tom) is very caring with the animals. He takes the time to explain what you need to know. His wife is very good and caring for what she does

Tom and Lana have been taking care of my dogs for 24 years. They are a husband and wife team. They are very caring people and I wouldn't take my dogs any other place and their rates are reasonable!

My Setter was referred to this office for chiropractic care. They were friendly and very good with my boy. As expected my boy is sore from the treatment, but I am hopeful that he is on the road to recovery and this initial soreness will go away in the next 24 hours.

I can't say enough great things about Highview Animal Hospital. We have been going to them for almost 15 years with our beagle Bailey. We are now getting another dog and adding a cat and while shopping around for potential closer alternatives, it was prevalent that Highview had every one else we called beat, hands down, on Customer Service and Costs. Such a rare find these days. If you are reading reviews and considering animal hospital/vets w/in an hour drive from you, you owe it to yourself and your pet to give Highview a try. They are amazing!
