We always go to Sonic when we visit Ottumwa. Their peach tea is the best we have ever had. We order on the app and then check in at the stall. The workers are always very friendly and bring our order out quickly. The food is always fresh and delicious. Definitely get the sonic app. Drinks are always half off when ordered through the app and they have other great offers.

We usually get decent food here but today all three corn dogs looked like this!! Completely burnt and disgusting!!It’s been 3 weeks and I haven’t received a response on here from the owner who has responded to more recent reviews… nice! Also when I called and talked to the manager the day I received 3 really gross corn dogs, she took down my address to send a coupon to compensate but I haven’t received anything and I was actually nice about it while the manager had a bit of an attitude… Not very professional…

The cheese fries were cold and not fresh. The cheese is not even liquid cheese. It's American slice cheese that they melt over the fries. Lay on top of that, the hot dog was tough like it had been sitting there for hours on a bun that's halfway hard, and the hot dog is lukewarm at best, don't recommend Any thing there the drive thru person wasn't very friendly either

Love, love, love the slushies! It was nice to see my old boss still there and working the window. He really is great at his job and always has a smile and is always Pleasant to the customers, even when it's me LOL. Sometimes I like to sit and Park and eat and other times I don't have time and the drive-thru is just as convenient. Even more so convenient is the online order ahead because then I just pull up to a stall and put that number in on my app and then my food is brought out.

Ordered corn dogs and tator tots along with 2 drinks. Corn dogs were not what you would expect. They were very small, tasting a bit stale. The tator tots were slightly undercooked, which made them mushy.Out of 50 places to eat lunch we picked the wrong one.Guess we will know the next time.

The past FIVE times here they have messed up the simplest of orders! Ordered a kids meal just today with a cheeseburger with ketchup only, and got a plain hamburger with pickles and mustard! How hard is it to get a simple cheeseburger with ketchup only! AWFUL service. I love their food but they need to hire some smarter people people. Haven’t seen a single adult working there either. It’s all young teenagers that clearly don’t know what they’re doing.

Food was fresh and custom items were correct. Service speed was good and the additional sauces they offered were delivered almost immediately. The location seemed to be a tight fit on the lot. We saw it and decided to go there but were not familiar with the area and all the one way streets made for a nice tour near it trying to get there. Worth the stop.

Had to wait 45 minutes to pick up a shake and an ice cream from a mobile order. After checking in, I also rang the stall two more times to remind them that we were still there. Would be fine it was a one off thing, but this has happened on two other occasions now.Additionally, when they did finally bring out my order, the employee was impolite and only apologized after I had asked why the order had taken 45 minutes (was told they "sometimes don't get the mobile orders).If you're going here, just use the drive thru because the Sonic employees can't handle stall orders and mobile orders.
