Excellent service by store manager Jode that helped me in shoe dept when I was having trouble reading sizes on boxes because I forgot my reading glasses.she found the size I needed and even got me a nylon footie and helped me try on the shoes.then she put boxes back that I decided against.i found the perfect shoe and size.

Store is constantly a disaster and shelves are always empty. There’s always boxes and stocking carts blocking aisles completely unattended. All of the carts broken, ripped and absolutely disgusting. Signs are never updated to reflect the actual price so things will be listed as a high % off but at checkout ring up as full price and they’ll tell you they can’t just honor whatever price you want even though they’re falsely advertising significantly lower prices. Genuinely can’t understand how this location is still open.

I went to four stores trying to outfit two young adults and two little kids with winter gear. I then stopped at Kohl's in Ottumwa and found everything I'd been looking for and some things I had no thought of. This is now my first stop when clothes shopping. It reminds me of how department stores used to be and still should be. The staff was great. Overall it was a very enjoyable experience.

Kohl’s in Ottumwa is a very clean store & has excellent sales!! The location is great living in Oskaloosa, Iowa. Katelyn was a very polite & sweet young lady !!!

The store seemed dated and the prices were high. It wasn't very clean and I noticed a lot of employees standing around talking. Not a good look. I won't waste my time.

Bought several items. Checkout told me none of my items qualified for ANY discounts. What a ripoff. Flood my inbox with coupons and refuse to honor any of them.

Unhelpful staff. Asked for help to find toddler socks from the woman stocking child's socks and was told to go to a different section that was completely wrong. I ended up finding them on my own.

Was doing an Amazon return and as soon as I got to the line Tabbi a cashier yelled with an unfriendly voice ...HOW can I help you without letting me get close to the counter. She was customer service rude by rushing me! I was planning on shopping at Kohl's , but her attitude got me upset. I don't like to be treated like that!

Popped in on a sunday morning around noon a couple weeks back. I don't usually shop here and had trouble locating the brand/item i was searching. I searched the womens section for assistance found no one, so I approached the registers, 3 grown women were having there sunday morning gossip sesh (I had been listening while I searched). I politely explained "Im not ready to check out but I am having trouble locating this brand, could you help?" I showed them the tag of the brand. One of the younger women made an audible "UGH" sound and the older woman pointed to the womens section and said "over there". . . .I asked for clarity on location because I searched, only found small section on the wall with the pants brand I was searching for. And again the older points and finally clarifies "one of the tables has some". Now there is like 2 or 3 display tables, I can figure it out from here, I just didn't see them to start with.By this point I feel completely out of place, like a bother, an inconvenience to their Sunday morning gossip sesh. I just set my stuff down that I had chosen and exit the store.I am not familiar with this form of customer service but it didn't do it for me. I needed a little assistance and was treated like I was an inconvenience. Not cool.

I didn't think pricing was all that hot, but Kohl's cash is cool. Also seemed like the help was more concerned with closing shop for the night versus helping the customers and doing some bidness.

Not happy with the current colors and styles nothing is organized and the pants I was looking for were on the ground being sorted by a customer service representative! Not one employee ask me if I needed any help the check out lanes are stupid you have to walk past Cash registers and then go back to them to pay for the purchases, lots of empty selves! NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER!!!

It's a no from me. Any time I've been here the prices vs what I'm getting for the price don't match up. Like their kitchen products are way too expensive. Also haven't ever really had good employee interactions. Asked the store manager for the corporate number once and she "didn't have it". I got tricked into entering my info on the debit card machine and I specifically asked if it was for a credit card offer but they said no and it was for a rewards program. Mentioned it to the store manager and she wasn't helpful at all. I find it hard to believe that she didn't have the corporate number. Just sort of brushed me off and acted like I was annoying and taking up too much of her time.

So I have joined the khols cult.After aggressively avoiding the place for 5 years I finally went in. I am hooked. They even got me to sign up for their credit card. I've spent waaaaay too much money there. I do have some very cute pieces of jewelery and my dog is well dressed, so, who's the real winner?
