The burgers are amazing! The Classic Combo, Caesar Salad, Fiesta Lime Chicken are also great choices! The desert OMG 🤤 Go for Triple Chocolate Meltdown if you accept the sugar rush challenge, or Brownie Bite for a little piece of sweet to treat your stomach 😁Kid-friendliness: Wednesday's kids meal is only 99¢!

Not a good experience! Got the 2 for $25 dollar skillet meal and not only did it take 50 minutes to an hour to arrive but one of the dishes came cold and the steak was tough, 50% fat, but also was cooked wrong! The mashed potatoes were cold as well. We had to ask for our appetizer to come and drink refills took forever to come. The food they messed up was replaced but they had to be reminded to bring the replacement food. Restaurant was freezing cold as well as the bathroom floor being sticky. The only good part of the experience was the waitress being understanding and kind.

Had lunch there because my 88 year old father likes 1 of their dishes. I ordered a bourbon style chicken and shrimp w/garlic mashed potatoes. Chicken was hard on 1 side, I'm thinking it was precooked and set aside on the grill. You can image what that's like. Onions and mushrooms were also done a head. Super heated skillet. Throw this collection of culinary catastrophe on top and run it out to me, the customer. I ate it because Mom & Dad were happy with their meals. Neither of them can smell or taste for the record. Server was personable and did her job well. She is the reason for the rating from me. Overall, for the cost per person, I feel we didn't get our monies worth and the blame falls on the kitchen and whomever is in charge of the hot food. Sister ordered a Asian style salad and said it was perfect. Take a chance if you want, but check the roster first. My opinionParking: 1 other customer in the place, so plenty of parkingWheelchair accessibility: Mom and Dad have walkers and we easily made it through the restaurant to our table and seating was comfortable.

What a disappointment. This location is suffering from being unwilling to pay competitive wages to appropriately staff waiters and kitchen crew. Details are as follows:1. We began by waiting 15 minutes for a table while half the restaurant was empty tables during dinner rush hour. I should've taken the clue and left at that point.2. We had our orders taken shortly after being seated, which was the high point of the experience. After that, it took 20 minutes for a single mozzarella sticks appetizer to arrive. It took another 40 minutes for any of the entrées to arrive at the table.3. Of the 4 entrées ordered, only 3 of them were prepared, and one arrived COLD on the plate. I couldn't say if the kitchen missed the 4th order or if the waitress didn't get it entered. Either way, my order failed to arrive.4. While we were waiting, there was abundant time to observe. Three of four adjacent tables had their food delivered incorrectly multiple times. The hostess was also bussing tables, taking drink orders, and expediting. Our actual waitress was handling many tables and didn't ever check back in with us during the wait as she was going back to the kitchen with such frequency to try and correct things.5. After everyone else had finished eating, I still had not received my food. Eventually, I requested it simply be put in a to-go box when it was prepared.6. There was no goodwill gesture, no manager visit, and a single apology from a waitress who was obviously miserable in the circumstances of the evening.7. I got my bill, paid, and it was then I received my food.The franchise owner of this location should be embarrassed on a personal level. This is not an issue of individual staff problems, but the entire restaurant being positioned to provide a disappointing experience to customers. If you can't find employees in either quantity or experience sufficient to run your location, then either pay a wage to attract those employees or find someone else to run things.This is not the first time I've had this experience at this location. I hadn't eaten here in over a year for this reason and don't see myself ever coming back.

This was my first time going to any Applebee's. They seated us fast and the waiter was very nice. Jelisa was her name and she was great. It was a bit busy so they forgot out appetizer till after we got our other food but it did make it to the table. It was queso n corn chips but in my opinion it had too much onion flavor for a white cheese dip. Everything else we had was delicious.I'd go back for sure. It was clean and had good seating. They had multiple T.Vs fir sports viewing if you're in to that. A bar in the center.I want to add that they did offer an extra beer at no cost so that made up for the not so great queso n chips.2nd time was better than the first time. The food was amazing.

It was about 15 minutes until our server came to take our drink order and another twenty minutes to get our drinks and take our order. The food came in o.k time about another 15 minutes but our order was wrong and the portion was kids minute at best and we have been waiting for 25 minutes more for our Bill and we never got our sodas. I am going to probably be hitting a McDonald's when they finally let me leave this horrible place and give me my bill for my two 25.00 kids meal. Save your self and don't eat here. I finally got my bill a half hour later and they added extra beers and my wife was inside trying to get the bill right.

Hadn't been to this place in years because of too many bad experiences in the past. However, we needed a place that was open later and could accommodate a group of 8. They had "all you can eat shrimp, riblets and boneless wings" and it was a joke. Waitress was confused about what they were out of such as the riblets and specific flavors of wings, out of coleslaw and strawberries. 2 orders weren't even entered so we got our food way after everyone else. Portions were small, difficulty getting drinks refilled and just spent entirely too long here. The waitress was friendly enough but seemed to get tired of telling us bad news so she stopped coming over. The manager made it right with the bill but this place needs some major improvements. Told us to come back on a Wednesday since they get their trucks on Tuesday. Probably won't ever be back if I can help it.

Edited to add that the GM reached out, apologized for our experience and will be making changes based upon feedback.We stopped at the Ottumwa Iowa Applebees just before 6:20ish on March 28th. We were seated at a booth in the bar area. Our waitress took our order after a few minutes and brought us coffee. She evidently was also the bartender because she was behind the bar fixing drinks and not really tending tables. We waited about 30 minutes before we finally flagged down a totally different waitress to get more coffee. She brought us new coffees but no cream and disappeared before we could ask for any. Quite a few other patrons came in after us and were seated. They ALL got their food and we still had nothing. My husband finally got his salad after 45 minutes. After an hour we had had it. I spoke with the manager and told him we were leaving and I wanted the bill for the coffees and salad. At this time our meals suddenly appeared. Too little too late, we are leaving. The bill took several more minutes and quite frankly should have been waived entirely. The bill said comped on our entrees; how do you comp something you never got?!? We paid for the coffees and left having wasted well over an hour and without dinner. We have never had an experience like this with Applebees and I am still quite upset about it. I wish we had looked up their reviews before wasting our time.

Went to lunch with husband, daughter, and her fiance. Place was wasn't to busy, but seemed to only have 1 waitress for our section. Daughter & fiance ordered Oreo shakes, husband and I had water. We ordered our meals and classic combo plater appetizer. After 10 min we got our water but still no shakes. Water tasted old and musty. When appetizer brought out, we were told theres a problem with the blender and they were working on it. Asked for plates and were only give 3 due to not having any more. 1 small one from bar & 2 dinner ones. Appetizer items were either lukewarm or flat out cold. The artichoke & spinach dip had re-solidified it was so cool. The mozzarella stick literally bent in our hands it was so cool & soggy. At that point we asked our waitress to bring check for what we ate & cancel the rest of order. She said ok and left. A few minutes later someone, they never said who they were, asked what was going on and that our food was ready & waiting in the window. So I told her what we told the waitress & that we wanted to pay for what we got, cancel the rest, and go. She huffed and said fine. Got our check & left a nice tip for the waitress. She was running around doing her best and was really nice. She apologized, but no one in charge did.

Went for all you can eat. Went at 3:15 with only 3 other tables when we arrived. Took long time to get waited on but 45 minutes to get food. My chicken wings were the worst I have ever received at a restaurant. Put empty drink at edge of table, after walking buy 2 times we finally had to ask her for refill. Will never go back. Worst Applebees.

Ordered curbside pickup to be ready at 7:40pm. We arrived at 7:35 and got on the app to let them know we were there. By 7:50 no one had brought our food out so we just went in thinking someone might not have seen us. When we got inside and told someone we had been waiting for 10 minutes but never received our food they acted like they were going to go figure it out but just ended up never coming back. At 8 we decided to go to the bar and ask someone there what was going on and has it turned out they hadn’t even started our order. Will never be returning.

Got herevaround 630pm. We were sat right away. Our server was awesome, can't remember her name but her wing was on point. Margaritas were sooooo good! Tortilla Chicken soup was spicy but good. (Shoulda asked for sour cream) food was Amazing!! Wel will definitely be back!!

Service was a bit slow which was odd for lunch time. What food we ordered was filling and satisfying. We ended up taking leftovers home. A bit pricey, but overall we were pleased with our dining experience.

Went to have a late lunch got there and was ask if we wanted to sit at the bar and we said no then ask about a table that was small and we said we preferred a booth.watress said she would clear a booth waited a while and she can back and said it would be awhile ,lots of empty booth we ask if we could just sit down and was told no. I won't go back

We were there took a good bit of time to be seated yet the whole half of the place was empty. Greeter kept trying to seat people before us even though he clearly knew we were waiting. Took more than a bit of time to get order. Short staff or not when our cheese balls came out and staff took it to the wrong table then proceeded to take back to kitchen then bring SAME tray of cheese back out to our table was well gross. Wan ton tacos were like chewing on a sock even waitress agreed. They fixed that. Food was fine but shrimp on my chicken wasn't done. So I just didn't eat them. Cathy was a nice waitress. She really did a good job. Very nice and attentive. We appreciated that

Ordered curbside and got two orders of Waton Tacos got all the way home no coleslaw. I called and their response was oh we are out of coleslaw. Why even serve it then?? Our food was cold, had to warm up before we could eat it.

My business partner and I showed up for lunch, right at noon. When we walked in we were informed there was a 10-15 minute wait to let the kitchen catch up, and asked if that would be ok. We said that was fine. It was explained that they had gotten busy all at once and needed to catch up (I guess getting busy at lunch is unexpected?). We were handed menus and left standing at the door. The irritating part was that the restaurant was maybe 50% full, probably closer to 40% capacity. We weren’t seated to wait, just left at the door, with another couple who has been told the same thing. After a couple of awkward minutes we left. The service hasn’t been great there at times before but this was ridiculous.

It was an interesting experience. We waited about 10 minutes at our table before anyone got to us, and there were a few mistakes on our order. The biggest thing I noticed was multiple tables around me sending food back, not getting the right food, sitting there waiting for someone to pay attention to them, etc. The place was decently busy but nothing too crazy. As a former server I try not to be overly critical. I would say the kitchen is more of the issue that the front of the house.
