THE OWNER DOUG IS A VERY RUDE AND UNFRIENDLY PERSON. MY HUSBAND AND I USE TO VISIT THIS STORE WHEN THEY WERE LOCATED ON MAIN ST AND SINCE THEY MOVED INTO THIS LOCATION DOUG HAS BEEN EXTREMELY UNFRIENDLY. MY HUSBAND AND I WILL NOT BE BACK. THERE ARE FAR BETTER ANTIQUE STORES IN THE AREA AND THE OWNERS AND STAFF ARE VERY FRIENDLY. AND WE ARE WILLING TO MAKE THE DRIVE FOR THAT KIND OF FRIENDLY SERVICE. TOO BAD WE LIKE BUYING LOCALLY. DOUG'S WIFE IS FRIENDLY MAYBE SHE COULD GIVE HIM DONE POINTERS.😡

FOR ANYTHING RELATED TO HOME STEREO AND SOUND EQUIPTMENT, AND COLLECTIBLES, ANTIQUES, AND PRIMITIVES!

I went in just to look around and I accidentally dropped some vinyl records and I got told "you know those were some expensive records that you just dropped" and then the guy behind the register looked at me and said "well aren't you going to buy something?"Will not be coming here again. The guy was extremely rude and he needs an attitude adjustment.

I loved finding this store on a recent visit to Ottumwa. Doug is such a personable business owner and really knows his stuff when it come to antiques and vintage. We purchased six Mid-Century chairs to use in a medical office and we are already enjoying them. Thank you Antiques and Uniques!

Excellent and friendly staff. There are always a variety of interesting items available (furniture, art, vintage clothing, glassware, records and much more). This is a must stop in my opinion! Great people, great selection and a great environment.

Terrible experience. Went there with a few friends and one was trans and he yelled at us for nothing then called my friend disgusting and had us leave and someone walked in right after and I asked them and they said he was complaining about “people like them” and closed early because of it.
