Even when getting an immunization it has not been unpleasant due to the skill of the tech giving it. I love looking at and buying the beautiful and fun gifts available there. Mahaska Drug is one of the cornerstones of our community! They are a great place to pick up anything from medications, to decorations, to keep-sakes. They even have a fantastic custom photo framing center! The business is among the top leaders of our community. They work to provide opportunities for students and they're one of the longest and most involved supporters of the Chamber and Main Street programs. Mahaska County is a better place with Mahaska Drug!

Absolutely the best! The pharmacists and techs go out of their way to be helpful and answer any questions we may have about our family’s medications. The store itself is fantastic.🤩I have friends from out of town who come to Oskaloosa just to shop at Mahaska Drug. I can always count on finding the perfect gift (free gift wrapping!)or that unique item to decorate my home. Mahaska Drug is my favorite place to shop!!!

Mahaska Drug is a phenomenal place! I had to have my inhaler prescription filled there and Amy spent hours on the phone with my doctor and insurance to get them to switch to a brand my insurance would pay for. I am overwhelmed by the genuine concern and work that they put in for me. Because of them I was able to get the inhaler I so desperately needed!! Thank you Mahaska Drug!

The staff is beyond incompetent - they gave my sister (whom is well into her second trimester) not only the wrong medication, but a medication that can likely result in birth defects in the second/third term (lisinopril). Entirely unapologetic, and refusal to acknowledge they provided her with our mother's medication even though they have different last names, addresses, and have not lived together for 5+ years. If my future nephew is in anyway harmed the results will surely be worse that a one star review.

Mahaska Drug is a one-of-a-kind experience. I go to Mahaska Drug because of the total experience the store provides – on many occasions this includes samples of ice cream, homemade cookies, kids crafts and so much more - all offered cheerfully as soon as you enter the store. Mahaska Drug supports our community and gives back to so many local organizations.

Mahaska Drug is my favorite place to shop in Oskaloosa. They have such a wide variety of unique items and the staff is so friendly and helpful! I also get my prescriptions there and never have any problems. Any time I have out of town guests we have to stop by and check it out. Friends and family are amazed that Oskaloosa has such a cool store!

Jane Nicholson does so much for the community and every customer gets attention like family. She Continually goes out of her way to help her customers and anyone here in her community that is in need. She is a very knowledgeable pharmacist and is pleasant to everyone. She has staffed very capable , helpful, and dedicated employees. She is very active in promoting her community as well by donating and fundraising. She deserves more than the highest five star rating!!

I have visited Mahaska Drug weekly since the first day they opened. I have always had the most positive and professional service from their store. Most recently they helped to guide myself and my husband through the Covid vaccine process. They made the process so easy and answered all of our questions before, during and after the vaccine. I needed a shelf item that I could not find anywhere in town. Then I remembered oh mahaska drug! And sure enough they had it. Thank you for providing our community with things we need. Whether it be the pharmacy dept. or something to make our homes beautiful or a special place to get a gift.

Everything is RIDICULOUSLY over priced!!!!!Only thing we ever go here for is games and free candy they give away on Halloween and free holiday pics (with Santa or Easter Bunny.)As for buying anything, that is an absolute joke!! Because it's just too much and not worth it. It's all over priced by price and a half OR doubled!!Maybe if they'd Lower their prices more it'd be worth even going in.Because with Walmart down the road (Even having a CHEAPER pharmacy) and delivery just a few clicks away, I don't know how they keep up.

Meds and merchandise are kinda high. However, a grate location to drop off mail if somebody needs to. Its better than running to the post office just to mail something off.
