Great place to shop for everything that you need. Beautiful Floral department and extremely nice and very informative lady helping with the plants. The Pharmacy is the best I've ever been too. Efficient, informative and the Pharmacist was very nice, well dressed and answered questions about my prescription(Covid vaccine. He made me feel as tho I could trust him and most importantly made me feel as tho there was no worry about my visit. " just let me know" he said. That in itself made me feel comfortable and reassured.

Beyond disappointed with prom corsage and boutonnière this year. Five minutes into pictures the rose fell off the corsage causing tears. Two hours into before prom events the rose on the boutonnière broke also. For what we paid I expected them to last at least through prom.

So many times I go and buy things without looking at the expiration date, and when I get home either they are past expiration or a day or two before expiration 🙄 guess I should know by now that this Hy-Vee in Oskaloosa sucks if you want anything fresh. Today I bought something for my kids, and it had expired November 2023!!!!!!

Always have more food items to choose from than other big bix chain stores. Great selection of healthy alternatives. Usually have things on a weekly sale add or online shopping. Not really much more expensive than Wal-Mart.

Over charged me for discounted donuts I went back to ask for refund and they gave refund back on my card but still wasn't the correct refund. I can't stand the way the store charges then deducts when it is simple to just put the correct number on the sales receipt to begin with so it doesn't confuse the cashiers and the grocery purchaser. Why complicate the receipt?

My healthy food card never works for me. I have been embarrassed many times. I get to checkout with my cart full of groceries after they have rung it up to find out my card will not work this time.🤦‍♀️ Also, their motorized wheelchairs are not kept charged. This has been an ongoing problem for me, too, at this Hy-Vee here in town.👎I have noticed all services have gone downhill since Stan Kirby retired. He did a good job of keeping up with everything, and everybody! He was great at keeping the store running smoothly!!

Store always has a nice selection of fresh and frozen products. Young man at the meat counter was very friendly and tried to be helpful. The only reason i didn't give 5 stars was because of the FOUR teenagers standing at one register when we went to check out. That many together and they were more worried about their conversation then scanning or bagging our items. The two that were actually working at the register never said a single word to us. Even when I had to prompt them to finish bagging our items.

The manager has unprofessional behavior yelling at me and my girlfriend in the entrance of the the store everyone going out n in was literally getting a show.. He accused my girlfriend of things she had no idea what he was talking about and she said he had to have her mixed up with someone else but he just got into her face and called her a lair...

The store itself is great. Great employees. Super nice and always helpful. The bakery is great, love the meat counter, and have always enjoyed the floral department. The deli however is a different story. I don't like fast food so when we are short on time I try to go to the deli for something remotely close to homemade and it is consistently terrible. Just today my husband grabbed some mashed potatoes and white gravy. It tastes like some kind of chemical is in it. It's terrible. I ordered Chinese a week ago and the rice was so dry it wasn't even edible. A couple of months ago I ordered a omelette and it came burnt. So burnt that I couldn't even cut it with a knife. Who would serve something like that? After today I'm done. I will not try again. There seems to be zero interest in serving good quality food and I will not eat there anymore.

Hy-vee is the most expensive grocery store. Their fruit and veggies are just aweful, never fresh. Maybe it's because they have them shipped from California. I'm from Colorado and they have fresh produce that comes form the farms in Colorado. I assumed it would be even better here being it's farm country. Bleh, it's not!!Iowa needs Kroger foods!! Hy-vee needs more competition to bring down the prices and have coupons that cater to the things we buy and the savings for the card should be based on the dollar we spend and not the product we buy. I'm super disappointed that this is where I have to grocery shop every week.

Nice, clean store with pleasant and helpful staff.Would like to see a better wine and beer selection.New visit. Generally I like this store. Today however, a bunch of kids running checkouts who were rude and not interested in customer service. Talked to manager who was dismissive.

My wife and I tried to get the $10 HyChi deal last evening. We said we'd like the $10 deal and pointed to the sign that is displayed at the counter. The worker looked baked out of his mind, mumbled incoherently and his eyelids were drooping. He started scooping rice without gloves on, and then asked for an entree. So we pointed to the sign again and said it was just the $10 deal with rice and lo mein and didn't have an entree. He was incredibly confused. Called over another worker who kept mumbling he only made "this pork" and pointed at another entree. At this point I'm thinking they were both high. They both stared at the sign and continued to be confused for so long. A few other odd things happened, and we were incredibly patient but had no confidence the food was cooked correctly or portion sizes were even right since they didn't know what they were doing. One of the weirdest experiences we've ever had when trying to order something simple.

Not all their fault, but small selection, asked for them to order chicken feet for my gliders and they said i would have to order the whole case! Used to b if something was requested they would try it and c if it went over, if they haven't tried it they have no clue, believe me chicken feet sell. Some eat them but lots of animals do. Great sales though. Much more room than the other grocery in town, just seems so much smaller now.

Very friendly staff! Great selection of food! The deli was phenominal. Some of the best deli prepared dinner I've ever had!!!have ever had! Perfect store location! Every department was clean and organized and the floral Dept looked very nice as well! Keep up the great service!

Doesn't have as many options as Walmart, but they make it up with the specialty items. They offer a nice variety of some local vendors.I usually will shop here if I don't need anything other then groceries. As I mentioned they don't carry much other then food products.They do have a few cashiers on hand and have been adding in some self checkouts if you don't want to interact with a cashier.Overall, it is an excellent grocery store. They offer a variety of fresh produce and other food products. They even have a restaurant in store that does catering as well as serving food in store.

I always leave this place feeling well taken care of. I've never once been in the store without someone saying hello or offering help finding something. Very happy with the workers there.
