Has decent sales at times, but was out of an item that was on sale. Staff has always been friendly, the times I've been there.2/19/23:Visited today for a couple of items from their ad, one being yogurt. Didn't have glasses on, shouldn't have to, to see dates on the containers. Realized when I got home, one expired 2 weeks ago & another yesterday. Variety was slim, probably due to sale, but obviously these are not rotated as they should be. At least I'm not out a ton of money, but shouldn't have to worry about the date on items.

I was in the store on April 25th around 11:30. Crystal was the only customer service/cashier available. I heard her call 3 different times for another cashier and no one ever showed up. 6 people were lined up to check out and more came as I was checking out. I was surprised that a manager didn't show up to help. Crystal was very professional during what had to be a very stressful situation. Appearances are everything and Crystal deserves to be commended for a job well done. Management needs to be available to help their employees. The 5 stars are for Crystal.

Has went down hill. They hardly carry anything but the hyvee brand. Most of the time shelves are bare. Never have sale items on shelves. Workers act like they don't want to be there. Fareway or even Walmart is a better option in this town

Best manager ever. If there is anything you have a problem with (I never have) talk to him anf he will make it right! He foes an amazing job promoting his store and getting involved in the community. He takes care of our veterans and public service very well. I love shopping here every week. The deli food is delicious!

Very rude. Won't bother helping to get a check cashed. Store is to small to go up and down the rows. Only one employee asked us how things were and was very nice. The cashier was rude and didn't bother to have someone higher up to help me with cashing my check. I don't understand why the hyvee in Chariton, IA can cash a check but this one here won't. I would not recommend coming back. Worst service I have received.

I called for the bakery department and they had closed already. I was assured that I would be helped and she would transfer me to an associate for help. A young man , Quade, took my call. He was awesome to work with. Nice young man. He answered every question I could think of. I would like to thank him for his time and patience. There is a musky odor here. The people are great though. The food in cafe is great and large portions. The prices of the store are some darn good deals but this is not the place for fresh veggies.Meat and fruit is the main things here.Fuel saver card sighn up. It helps.

Only went in for the grill... Sadly , closed . But no one to ask , no closed sign... had us wondering. We ended up at the deli and got a premade cold- cut sandwich. It was decent .

This Hy-Vee store had been taking cans & bottles for redemption. But this day I unloaded car with cans., took them all the way inside to redemption area. There was a little sign on a door inside that said they were not taking cans or bottles today. I met two or three employees that seen me come in with them and no one said one word to me about not taking them today. Would have been nice for a heads up on this.

Remodel is fantastic! Check out the new wine & spirits selection. Best in Osceola! New self checkouts so I don’t have to wait with my few items behind a full cart. Thank you! Even under construction this was a nice Hyvee to go too! The inside deli was closed at the time because of the construction but they had plants, pumpkins, and plenty of fresh produce. Would have been nice to see some expectant mother parking but maybe that comes after construction. Great customer service.

Been 20 years since I was in a HyVee, and there is still a helpful smile in every aisle. I had a simple question about a product I could not find and the store personnel went absolutely over-the-top to make sure I had this little item. Well done!

Tonight, I went in at 7:03 PM 03-04-22 to purchase a few items. As I approached the checkout, I noticed two young girls behind the counter ingaged in idle banter. I approached, set my items down, and the young lady took my food, rang it up, and I was out. Very little eye contact, no... "Have you got your Hyvee Card?" No, greeting, no, thank you, I was more of a distraction to them.Poor customer service!

It's a great little store, the people could be a little nicer. They do not keep it well stocked. The produce though is super fresh so that's why I go, and then I go somewhere for meat or frozen food.

Ordered biscuits and gravy and muffin melt with hash browns, initially only got the biscuits and gravy after a long wait. This wasn’t a big deal I went up and told them I didn’t get my muffin melt and they had forgotten so it’d be out when it was done. Then I received my muffin and no hash browns. Again things happen and this wouldn’t matter but I brought it to their attention again and was met with a audible sigh and a very rude “oh did you?” 1/5 people don’t seem to care about the job

Very disappointing shopping experience at this Hy-Vee (Osceola, Ia ). Advertised sale items gone. Fresh produce not looking very good. Limited choices. Answer from clerks, products probably be in store by tomorrow. With a warehouse in Chariton?

Hy Vee corperate has ruined this store. I find it hard to believe they actually pay people to come up with these store plans. The isles are so narrow you can't meet another cart and pass comfortably, on several items you have no choice. Some prices are lower some are higher.

We ate breakfast there. Had to use plastic forks and knives. Regular silverware was dirty with dried food on it. Purchased tomatoes. Wanted more but they were not good. Ended going down the street to Fairway

The Hy-Vee staff on Osceola has always been great. My only complaints with Hy-Vee are not at the store level. Drove by the store in Lamoni and see the old neon sign out front. It looks great. The Dollar Fresh signs look bad. Whoever they paid to rebrand they overpaid. Maybe I am wrong and it is making them money but I doubt it.

Pretty small HyVee...but we were shocked at the array of specialty foods. Loved it. Smoked whitefish dip was out of this world!!
