We were looking for a bit of Florida in Iowa and found the perfect place. Huge beachfront bar with a perfect view of the water. They have a walk-up food hut where you go to order food/pizza and they send you a text when it's ready to pick up. There were several bars open so you can get your favorite drink to enjoy on one of the many decks available. Despite workforce shortage it was clean (restrooms could use some help) I would definitely go back for the relaxing view and a good place to soak up some sunshine.

Went for lunch and drinks. Food was ok, drinks were amazing and great price. Gift shop huge with large variety. Atmosphere doesn't compare to the many others we went. All adults or being the children.... great staff, great music and plenty to do

The atmosphere is what gives this place 5 stars. If you like to people watch and enjoy some entertainment, this is the place. The palm trees really give it a great tropical beach vibe. I would recommend the upstairs deck for a better breeze and great views of the water.Drinks were okay - a little pricey and not a lot of alcohol content - but the cups are fun souvenirs to keep.The food was disappointing. They couldn't keep up with the crowd - even shutting down new orders for a long time to try to catch up - so our only option was the frozen pizza window. We ended up waiting in line for 30 minutes just to order the frozen pizza (they had shut down their online ordering) and then another 45 minutes to get the pizza. It's a frozen pizza so go in with those expectations and you will be fine. I can't comment on the other food items since we couldn't order from that part.

Great times! Love the set up, wait staff always so friendly. (Not thrilled about the new kids with tractors running wild, parenting not inforced *new, wasn't like that on other occasions (beach atmosphere I understand😕) . Still highly recommend 😄Thank you to All staff & management.

You want fun entertainment this is the place to go. Fun for all ages. Usually some type of live band playing. All of the bartenders are super fun and outgoing. Food available at all times . Kids can swim in the water or there's a swing set sand area for them. They have lots of apparel to choose , not to mention boats on stock with boating accessories available at all times. You can come by vehicle or by boat.

Went here a couple times on our trip and it was fun and we enjoyed the drinks, food and shopping at their store food was pretty good. There is room for improvement in the facility out side (bathrooms especially), there is need for upgrades, it's just old run down looking in areas. Birds should not be allowed to nest in the palapa (s) and do their business over our eating area and us. Friendly staff!

Love the front motorcycle parking. Great environment and beautiful view of the lake. Kid friendly with a small waterslide and boji pads. And sand box for the smaller kiddos

I came here during the season were it was really congested. Fun place to go but you have to wait for a very long hours to get a seat. Be patient cause when you get a chance to seat... it was all fun. The music, the food and the people.

Fun drinks and atmosphere but don’t get your hopes up for a good meal! It’s basically concession stand food. Our bartender was “Shaggy” he was fun while we were there but later that evening at another bar he bumped into one of our girls (Bach party) and spilled his drink on her. Once he realized what he did, he then proceeded to pour the 2 drinks in his hands out at our feet! Complete jerk! It was because of this we did not go back the next day.

This place is only good for drinks with a view. When we ordered our drinks and were going to put in our food order we were told they were short-handed and had to order at the outdoor counter. At the counter, which was also the kitchen, there were so many flies, the cooks spent more time killing them than cooking. The chairs we were sitting in were plastic, and the one I had buckled underneath me when I tried to scoot in. I'm not a large person. The bathrooms were filthy. The toilet lid was on the floor next to the toilet and the seat was off its hinges. The best thing about the place was that it had plastic souvenir cups with funny sayings. Stay for a drink, but don't eat or pee.

The scenery is very nice. It is a boater’s bar. There’s nothing wrong with that.I took a look at the stand where one would order food. You have to go there to order Nd get your food. Again, no issues with that.I wouldn’t drive here for a drink. Come on a boat.Three stars because the place could stand a good cleaning.

We loved going there with friends enjoyed the staff that waited on us and got to know them and the great bar tenders. Enjoyed going down there just to see them. So it Was a4 1/2 star before. BUT the last 2 times down there the people we came to see and enjoy the music were NOT THERE. Asked and THEY HAD LET THEM GO they told us that they were NOT working there any more, So sad because these people had worked there for years and did a great job, summer and for the winter games .WELL guess we will find where they are working, and start going there!! A BIG shame cause we enjoyed going there think there are others that feel that way because it is easy to find a place to park.

I didn't get a chance to eat there YET, BUT HOPEFULLY I WILL NEXT SUMMER!!! I had to meet up with a friend & that was our meeting point & then we headed for the boat!!! BUT!!! There were people sitting around eating & drinking various things already & it's one'a those places you can just tell that it's a hoppin' little place once the people & parties get started!!! It's designed with TiKi hut bars & tables with umbrellas in colorful arrays, just a real HAPPY & FUN KIND'A PLACE!!! I can't wait to go next yr & I HIGHLY recommend you try it out for yourself!!! My Sister & Friends HIGHLY recommend it as the BEST party place on the OKIBOJI LAKES IN NORTH IOWA, ESPECIALLY ON THE WKENDS IN THE SUMMER!!!

Service is busy so please be patient. This is a popular Hotspot for boater and non boaters. Great place to hang out if you with a small group or a large party. Best drinks I've had outside of my home. Cheers to Barefoot and thanks for the great service.
