This is fun lakefront restaurant with lots to see and do. Great atmosphere and lots of little areas to sit, play, listen to music, and get a drink while waiting for a table. They’re are indoor and outdoor dining options. Some tables outside are right next to the bridge connecting East and West lake and it’s fun to see all the boats going under the bridge. Great service. Everyone was super friendly. The menu is extensive. Lots and lots of specialty drinks. The Bloody Mary is amazing. Everything we ordered was delicious, fresh, and hot. The fish and chips were so flakey with a light batter. The coleslaw comes in little jars. Make sure to go to this place during your stay in Okoboji.Parking: The parking lot is tight and usually packed with cars.Kid-friendliness: Lots of kids of all ages because there are outdoor play areas, chairs, games, and music.

Went to Okoboji and stopped off at this restaurant. I had pulled pork with their house fries. Son had fish and chips.It's a very nice environment. They have seating outside that looks over the lake they have seating that's under an awning but still fairly open and then sitting inside the restaurant. The staff are very nice. We spoke with the manager of the restaurant I think his name was Dave. They have a lot of returning servers and Cooks. They are seasonal they'll shut down in the winter probably like a lot of Okoboji. But their staff comes back because they like the place.Pulled pork was very good I was happy with it the coleslaw I'm glad I picked that because that was a nice addition combo to the pulled pork. Unfortunately it's been a while between having this and posting it so I can't remember everything about it I just remember it was really good. And my son liked his fish and chips.

One of the best restaurants in Okoboji with one of the best views of the bride and canals that connect East & West lakes! We went a little after lunch time so it wasn't super busy, but beware, the lines can be really long for this place if you go at peak times. Our server was phenomenal and everything we ordered was top notch. The most amazing thing was the dessert! We ordered the Lemonade Stand and OMG....literal heaven. Highly recommend this amazing restaurant!

We both had hamburgers and they were excellent! The charred Brussel sprouts were way too "charred" for me but my husband loved them. Great drinks as well.Dietary restrictions: Not much here if you're gluten free

Super great restaurant experience for a first time on the lake! I loved my bloody Mary. It had bacon, a pepper, cheese, etc on the stick and it was well worth the $12! The ahi tuna sandwich was good as well. I wish i had gotten more asparagus given with my meal since it was $17. I loved eating on the lake though. I highly recommend. Great parking outside.

Okoboji Store is growing every year. They continue to add deck space which is great to add more seating but I'm not sure they expanded the kitchen so the wait is definitely the worst part. It's usually a 30-60 minute wait to be seated and then another 45-60 minutes before you are eating.The food is fine. I don't exactly crave anything from their menu and their prices are at the top of what I really want to pay for food I'm not in love with.So why go? Because they have an awesome play area for kids to burn some energy while parents hang out in comfy seating areas and enjoy a few drinks. My favorite time to go is 4:00pm after a fun day on the lake. The kids play, we hang out with friends and enjoy a few drinks while sitting next to the lake enjoying a fun view.

His parents ran the store & post office. Larue had polio and wore braces and could not walkso Francis Dayley and me carried him about the school for many years. I was visiting Larue one day and to our surprise Babe Ruth of baseball fame stopped by to visit Larue and gave him a signed baseball! Quite a prize one must admit and he spent a few minutes with the both of us and we sure did share the moment with our many friends. I still have my Arnold’s Park baseball uniform that Coach Everett Moss gave when we left my freshmen year, as my dad was drafted to work at the Inland Waterways in Duluth as our government needed a boat draftsmen, and my dad was a local boat builder.The latest photo is me ringing the bell after 35 radiation treatmentat Bliss Cancer Clinic in Ames!Parking: We are able to find a spot, but we drive a Spark!

We got an amazing table right on the lake for lunch! Didn't have to wait at all to be seated. Our server was extremely nice and the food....the food was SO GOOOOOOD. I got a walleye fish sandwich that was mouth watering along with Mexican street corn which was good and spicy! My wife got a Cheeseburger with a fruit cup (fruit was very good and fresh). Altogether, a great lunch and fun to see all the boats pass by.

Everytime we come to the lakes this place is packed and I understand why. The atmosphere is fantastic the service was terrific and the food was amazing.The whole experience was outstanding and the price was less than I imagined. I don't often give perfect reviews as I believe there is always room for improvement, but I wouldn't change a thing and I cannot wait to come back.

Nice local place offering excellent quality food. The local microbrews were fantastic! I enjoyed the beer breaded bluegill, and my wife thought the Mac and cheese burger was a good balance of flavor and texture. Our server, Aria, was very attentive and kept a fun conversation going while helping her other tables. Wish there were more stars available!

Depending on your reason for going I would give this between 3 and 4 stars. If your going for a fun trendy spot then it's a 4. Otherwise, it's a 3. Our family of 5 went on a Sunday night in July slightly before 6:00 PM. We were able to be seated inside without a wait. Someone took our drink and appetizer order right away saying that she would get us started while our regular server was busy. The drinks and apps came out just fine without delay, but we didn't get anyone over to take our order. We had to flag someone down before we got it taken. The wait wasn't long and the food was good. My wife had the pulled pork and I had the cock and bull. Proportion sizes were more than generous. However, I substituted fries not knowing it cost extra and the fries were dinky. These weren't normal fries, but more like a shoe string potato. All that being said it was a neat place that we enjoyed overall.

My wife and I stopped here for lunch. The food selection here was pretty high-end for a bar. She got the hangover sandwich, I got the tuna fish tacos and we split some house chips. The food was excellent the tuna was just barely seared for the tacos which was perfect mango and Sriracha in the tacos was delicious. Our waitress Rae gets bonus points for noticing that I threw the lemon and lime from my fish into my iced tea so she brought the next tea out with them already in it. The patio dining area is well heated so even though it's 42 out today it was comfortable. The parking lot is small and narrow so get there early and be careful pulling in and out. Dictated not read

Pinch me, is this Iowa? This place is a must stop at and eat or drink at! The atmosphere is amazing "A+". EMPLOYEES ARE GREAT AND MAKE YOU FEEL WELCOME EVERYTIME. I say everytime because I went here 3 times in 2days. This place is GREAT with food and eye candy of beautiful boats and lake okaboji is just amazing. I recommend this establishment everytime.

EDIT: Went again summer 2023 and it was even better! Seriously, it’s an Okoboji institution! Great food, great service, amazing atmosphere. Keep up the great work!!We lined up at 10:45 before they open at 11, and there were 20 people ahead of us. Great food, fantastic patio with Great Lake views. Nice little store inside with souvenirs. Don’t miss the Bloody Mary - a meal in itself!Parking: Get there early and pack as many people in one car as you can.Kid-friendliness: Absolutely kid friendlyWheelchair accessibility: They have accessible seating.

We were so fortunate to have Clayton as our waiter. This young man has such a great personality and was such a wonderful server. It isn't very often that you meet a teenager with a great work ethic and that is such a joy to be around. When we come back, we definitely want to sit in his section. We had to wait to be seated so we sat at the bar. The ladies there were also very pleasant. It was a great experience in all ways.

Food was good, service was excellent, loved the atmosphere, it was fun having a live preformer while we were eating. My daughter loved looking out at the lake and playing with the little Legos they have to keep kids entertained.
