Love my Maid-Rites! Strayed from the norm and got a Taco-Rite today with a chocolate malt and fries. Not my favorite fries, those can be hot or miss from one place to another so no big deal. Malt didn’t taste like a malt though. It was weird tasting. And the taco sandwich was served with salsa and sour cream on the side with tomato and lettuce on the sandwich. Meat was just their normal meat. At least it tasted like it. Kind of a let down. I was craving the taco flavor after reading the menu. If I pictured eating a regular Maid-Rite it wasn’t too bad though!

We think it's the best maid rite around! Excellent service and great food every time! I wanted to take a better photo but couldnt wait and honestly spaced it!! To honor the fair, the month of August they will have Italian grinders and corn dogs! We cant wait to try them soon!

Always great food.Not a place to visit if you’re worried about COVID-19: staff isn’t wearing face covers, all booths available, shared ketchup/mustard, self-serve soda available, I haven’t seen staff sanitize tables after customers. We were here a month ago and were impressed by their precautions which have disappeared.

When they get your order right, the food here isn't half bad. However, I do not plan on returning to this location, too many times have they gotten my order wrong and wasted my lunch break. 20 minutes of my 30 minute lunch break down the drain, and not for the first time. I'm disappointed and dissatisfied with my overall experience here.

2x the price for all b'fast items compared to 2022, not sure why but you'll be paying almost $15 for two biscuits/gravy and two eggs. (you can get two biscuits/gravy for $3.50 at caseys down the road)

Greeted as we walked in. Menu signs are bright and easy to read. Food was warm and served quickly. Some staff wearing masks the owner was in kitchen and not wearing mask. Did not see how the tables were being cleaned. Did notice some areas that needs cleaned before disinfecting. Ketchup bottles caps under side for 2 tables really needing wiped down. Syrup bottle was sticky. Will try again in 2 weeks possible. Did drink only water in plastic cups.

Love Maid-Rite, was so disappointed when they closed the one in our town. Normally I order the Cheese-Rite basket and it's so good. You get the sandwich, fries and a drink for less than $10, can't beat that. Have always had great service and they are so friendly!!!

There were flies it was dirty I asked for dishes and the girl looked at me like I was insane the food was terrible the front counter man was extremely rude and we will never be going back oh and the really great thing was that there were three gigantic trash cans right in the middle of the entire restaurant with signs that we had the bus are on food. I have been to a soup kitchen once when I was down and out and the service and the food and the cleanliness was far better

Good old styled maid rite cafe. Great home made pies, good ice cream shop.Every place has that one guy that doesn't want to be there. No excetion here.Pro tip... order your maid rite dry and don't joke about mashed potatoes and green beans on all the daily specials lolGood maid rite cafe though, one of the best

I guess that we arrived at a very terrible time for this visit. The restaurant was busy with guests from the local 4th of July weekend celebrations and the service, delivery of food and customer service were very disappointing.Both my wife and I ordered the maid rite classic basket meal along with one chocolate malt for our meal. There was very limited seating available and this tables that were open had not been bussed or cleaned and we had to wipe down our own. The malt arrived and it was more malt than ice cream and we didn't finish it.There was a group that was separated that had kids going back and forth with a couple of loud mothers joining them. These mothers were so loud that I needed to take my hearing aids out.Maidrite has always been known for fast efficent service, not today. After waiting 25 minutes for food to arrive I went to the front counter to inquire about it and the man there went to the back and returned with a gruff "there's two orders in front of yours". Another ten minutes and ours arrives at our table.Now no complaints about the food, its exactly what you'd expect from Maid Rite.But by this time we were already done. The experience was unpleasant and service was disappointing.

I have missed Maid Rite so visiting here was a treat! Yum. I guess inflation happened while I grew up, because they are $3.75 instead of $1.03. Still taste just as great though. My suggestion to this business owner is to give the tall guy in the kitchen doing the job of 3 people a nice raise and a huge thank you. Just watching him put orders together wore me out. He's amazing! 5 stars for awesome employees, great food, nostalgia and just existing

The food we ordered was tasty, my husband got the tenderloin and I ordered the 2 piece chicken dinner. I enjoyed my food, but the tables needed cleared and wiped off. I realize we were there after the lunch rush, but it appeared little effort was made to keep up. We passed several tables that were dirty. The staff might try aprons, instead of dirty tshirts, just looked messy and unprofessional. When I put my trash in the bin, I got someone else's food on my hand -- gross! We hadn't visited this Maid rite for several years, but I heard they had new owners. Please folks, step up your game! I want you to succeed!

Food was good, however the girl at the counter taking orders isn't very accurate. I asked for 2 cheese maidrites and 1 regular with ketchup and mustard. However I ended up with 3 cheese ones. Went back to counter to correct the order, she went to cook and told him to pay attention to the tickets however the ticket showed 3 cheese maidrites, so it was actually her mistake. I told her such and she shrugged it off like whatever. This isn't the right time this same person has messed up an order for me.

I worry about eating here. You have to swat away the flies. Everything is coated in stickiness and grime. The ketchup tasted off, and the bottle was grimy. I am concerned about the state of the kitchen. The Maid-Rites are greasy, not how I have had them elsewhere. It is such a shame. It is a cute place. The cheese curds are good. So sad, it is a fun place to take the kids.

I'll be honest, I'm an Iowa girl, born and raised, but I hadn't really been to Maid Rite till recently with my boss. He knew I enjoyed breakfast and told me we needed to go to Maid Rite together sometime. Well, he finally took me and I absolutely LOVED my meal! He really enjoys the pancakes and I've found that I love the hashbrowns with gravy. The serving sizes are ginormous which makes the value for your money fantastic! If you haven't been to Maid Rite for breakfast, you REALLY need to give it a try!

The food was great, but the guy behind the counter was extremely rude. Getting My order wrong and Very impatient not giving me a minute to think about what I was trying to order and he was extremely rude. So for that reason, I will be giving him a one-star. He needs to remember without customers. He has no business. Not everybody comes in knowing exactly what they want to order without looking at the menu.
