Changed from 4 to 5 stars. Although prices are a bit high on certain things, it is convenient and the staff at Ace is extremely helpful and friendly. Worth paying a couple extra bucks in my opinion.

I genuinely enjoy shopping at this location.The c/s skills are on point (i.e., smiling faces, greetings, and always asking whether assistance is needed in finding anything).Pricing is more than fair for quality of the products offered!

I was told that there will be a wait on my aluminum screen I enter the store and I ask about it because I’ve been waiting for two weeks come to find out that there is no delay and the screen guy Has been lying to me about it over the phone just so he doesn’t have to do my aluminum screen I am very disappointed that an employee would lie to a paying customer losing money for his loyal company I feel as if I have been cheated by the American system once again what has this country come to. I canceled my order after I was lied to about the wait from the screen guy and after I found out that I was lied to I went to the store and billy was quite rude when I had asked about how I was lied to about the wait to get my aluminum screen

1st employee was extremely rude, didn't want to help. I wasn't important, only the tornado victims were . He sat there and screamed at his kids. The rest of the staff was helpful, including the owner. Thank God for them.

Walked in to get tubing and I asked if I could get help cutting it, and 5 employees were standing in the middle isle talking amongst themselves, and made it seem like a complete inconvenience that I asked for help. The whole time I was in the store it felt as if I was in the wrong for asking for assistance and the employee helping me and checking me out did not seem friendly at all. I do not plan on coming back to this hardware store despite it being only 2 min away.

Did business at this Norwalk, IA location on Sunday, April 10th. Was assisted by Cheyenne. Bought mulch and other items in the store. She assisted me and did a great job with customer service! She was very polite and listened to my needs without interrupting. She also helped me load the materials in my truck (stronger than most men I know! LOL). Cheyenne is a very hard worker that is pleasant to work with and because of her actions, I will be coming to this location for the foreseeable future! thanks!

Update: I checked prices and they are doing a great job of being competitive. I have been very pleased to shop here. They have a great selection and their prices are reasonable. They always try to help with any questions you may have. I would recommend using this shop to save you time on your next project. Update I bought my Scotts 4 step plan here because it was less expensive then Lowe's, Menards, Home Depot even WalMart. They are getting serious about being a good supplier. I used my Ace rewards card to save some of the money. Keep up the good work.

Great for nuts and bolts and small items. Once you get to the larger items prices go through the roof. It's a big enough difference I would go to any other hardware store for things like drills, shovels, grills, axes and tools

I tried to return some items after 30 days and they refused stating that they no longer carry that brand. I am out $70 dollars so just an fyi to other buyers. Knowing they will do this make me think twice about buying there product.

Everything you need in a hardware store. Staff is really friendly and really try and help with all your needs. If you’re in a pinch and need something you can definitely make a stop here, they’ll have something you need. A little more expensive than i would like in a hardware store but they do the trick.

Most of the time when I come in the store the only employees I see are teenagers. When I checked today the girl checking me out didn't even speak to me except to say my total. Customer service and friendliness are severely lacking at this location.. After today's experience I think I'll start making the 30 minute round trip to the bix box stores instead.

I like Ace they have a small family owned feel but have major brands. The store has been clean everytime I've gone. The thing I like best though is that they have some unique items you absolutely wouldnt expect to find here and really wont find anywhere else

Originally I tried to order a key fob but associate said only a manager could do it. I left my name & phone number but manager never called me. Went in a week late, ordered key fob, when it came in they attached it to the paid invoice with my phone number but no one called. I call them & they have it & say come in anytime to do the key & program it. I tell them I will be there in 15 mins. Get there & was then told they cant do it because the manager needs to do it & he is out with no idea when he will be back...

Staff are friendly and helpful. Location is very convenient, with great selection of rental equipment, Stihl chains and trimmers, paint and gardening. Buildging supplies e.g. electrical and plumbing are limited in quantity, but they have the most common parts needed to get you on your way.
