Such a wonderful shop! I love going here for all my 2 dogs' needs (and wants!). They have so many fantastic foods, such fun, adorable toys, and all the misc things I always need. It's ALWAYS clean, and the people who work there are helpful and so nice to chat with. Highly recommend. A+!

I’m not local but I did stop by while passing through. This shop may not have a lot but what they do have is the basics. They have very cool toys and products. Definitely worth stopping by. The staff are so welcoming and polite.

Nestled in a convenient location just off Highway 1, Leash on Life offers a unique selection of high-quality pet products that you won't easily find in larger chain stores. The range of American-made items they stock is commendable, and it's clear they have a keen focus on safety and affordability.The staff's reputation for friendliness and knowledge about pet care is well-deserved. During my visit, I noticed how they treat both pets and owners with genuine care and attention, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all.However, I did encounter a minor hiccup during my visit. In a bit of a rush that day, I found the checkout process slower than anticipated. There seemed to be a shortage of staff available to assist with the checkout, causing a slight delay. While this was a bit frustrating, I understand that such situations can happen, especially in smaller, local businesses.In summary, Leash on Life is a gem in North Liberty, offering quality products and a pet-friendly environment. I appreciate their commitment to quality and the community. I believe that supporting local businesses like Leash on Life is essential, and I hope they can streamline their checkout process in the future to enhance the shopping experience further. We love Leash on Life!! They have a bigger selection of cat products than many other places. Tons of options for toys, cat furniture, grooming tools, treats, and food. Employees are always very friendly!

I love the convenience of this local pet store. As an owner of a dog and cat, I get all my pet supplies here. From food, treats, toys and so much more. I enjoy shopping here because they educate you on the products they sell unlike commercial pet stores. Not only is this store a top notch pet store, but the owners are pretty awesome too.

This is a great local shop that has everything your dog (I only shop for my dog, but they do have other animal supplies). It's great because I can bring g Rilo with me and she can sniff around and pick out what she likes. The staff is so friendly and is readily available for questions or a treat for your pup. I recently had to get some dog sympathy cards for a friend whose pup passed away and they had a card for that!!!

Always a 5-star experience. Feels like 'Cheers' where "everybody knows your name" 🎶 as soon as you walk through the doors. They offer rewards programs for frequent buying and they will attempt to get products in for you they may not have on their shelves. Extremely customer service oriented which is becoming a novelty anymore!! I always recommend Leash On Life to other pet owners. One recommendation: to stay open later than 6 PM for us out-of-towners? But in the end, we always find a way to get there during open hours.

Locally owned pet store with a great selection of supplies for dogs and cats. They were very sweet when I brought in my cat, and even gave us some free samples of food and treats to try at home. I will definitely be coming back soon.

Just stopped in to check the place out. I was greeted warmly by Laurie and was happily assisted while I looked around. How could I not buy something?!?! This place has a large variety of food, toys and cheats for animals of any age. A real enjoyable experience!
