Stumbled across this friendly and tasty malt shop on a motorcycle ride my wife and I took today. Good food, just the right sized portions, and if you ask for a little oink left in your bacon they will accommodate.

If you are looking for a home town / small town experience the Malt Shop in North English is going to meet your expectations. They have a good list of specialty malts like the grasshopper malt I had (mint Oreo) or standards like strawberry made with fresh strawberries. Bite into the delicious burgers served with fries, waffle fries, or other side choices or order a basket of the chicken strips. Maybe start with the fried cheese curds. The kitchen isn't far from the table so they will still be hot and melty when you get them. If you look up from your malt at the wall you'll see high school senior photos for folks that have worked in the shop over the years. It's a wonderful tradition and is a way to see where your dollars are going when you eat at a local shop. If you are in the area, it is definitely worth a stop.

this cozy little diner is a local favorite. the staff are personable and friendly. an all time favorite is the tenderloin basket, but there are many options to choose from. we frequent here often!!

The food was over the top delicious, as usual and the Customer Service was Exceptional. I always look forward to coming through N. English just to stop by the EV Malt Shop. As always, Kudos, Ladies.

Usually good place to eat. The wife's salad plate was dirty. I ordered a PLAIN cheeseburger and it came out with everything on it. Sent it back and all the did was change the buns. Back to the table 1 min later with mustard still on top of the burger patty. 3rd time out was correct and all fresh.

a quaint little small-town burger joint. prices are fair, and the owners have clearly poured their hearts into the place. this place has provided jobs for many highschool kids over the years :)

Clean friendly atmosphere servers are easy to talk to and fun the food was hot and made to order the menus are easy to read and great selection plenty of great soft serve ice cream flavors to choose from.
