Once we tried one (or six) of J & D Catering & Sweets specialty cupcakes we knew that was who we wanted for the desserts at our wedding. They were fresh as could be and even delivered directly to our venue. We had containers for people who take extras home and there wasn't a single one left over at the end of the night! Safe to say they were well enjoyed by the crowd.

My wedding was 10/10/2020. J & D Catering & Sweets has a contract with the National Mississippi River Museum and Aquarium so you are required to utilize their services. Diane at J & D was amazing to work with! She was agreeable to pretty much do whatever we wanted. Our menu consisted of: Roast Beef, Parmesan Peppercorn Chicken, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Corn Casserole, Mac & Cheese, the salad with the fruit in it, and rolls. We also got a two tier cake (funfetti with vanilla frosting) and cupcakes (Hostess was a HIT, Wedding White, Raspberry Lemon was my fave, and Peanut Butter Cup). The beef was just a little dry but everything else was absolutely AMAZING!! People raved over the chicken and Mac & Cheese. There were people taking 2, 3, 4 cupcakes home! They were so moist and flavorful. They do have an extra charge due to COVID-19 safety precautions and needing to individually wrap them, but it was worth it for the safety of our family and friends. They also catered our cocktail hour with homemade chips and French onion dip (a favorite), bruchetta, pinwheels, and fruit plates. I would definitely still book them if I were to do it all over again.

A million thank you’s, J & D, for catering our recent wedding at Oak Hill Farm. From the moment we met Diane, we just knew that she would deliver everything she promised – and she did! The food was simply delicious, hot, and served exactly at the time we requested. Working with Diane was a dream. She was always available, very fun and very professional. Our guests are still raving about our caterer. For the record, we served parmesan peppercorn chicken, sliced roast beef and gravy, chicken alfredo, glazed baby carrots, and garlic red mashed potatoes. They also provided our wedding cake and dessert table (of which everyone is still raving). We can’t thank you enough, Diane, for being such a special part of our day. You are a true professional. And to future brides out there: book today – you’ll be so very glad you did!

J & D Catering is absolutely fantastic. My Daughter Rhiannon and son in law Trevor picked them to cater their Wedding.They're truly amazing and can do it all. They did all the food and the cocktail hour charcuterie board and pretzel bites and the delicious cupcakes and the wedding cake and even Mac n cheese and sandwiches at the end of the night. J&D Catering was definitely a 5/5 rating for our wedding in December 2022! The food was incredible and their award-winning mac 'n' cheese was some of the best I have ever had! Diane was so helpful and great to work with as we were looking for our dinner and dessert options for the wedding. She will work with any dietary restrictions and cater to any other requests you may have. J&D provided catering and dessert service for our wedding. During all stages of our food planning and our reception, they were very friendly and easy to work with. We went in for our food tasting and instantly felt the love they have for their business. And, the food reflected that love! We booked on the spot. Diane was such a joy and very personable. During our wedding, I didn't get the chance to talk to them much but noticed they had a nice setup and flow of people. They also did our desserts for our wedding and we have gotten so many compliments! We had 4 flavors of cupcakes, a mousse, lemon bars, and a small cake. All desserts were gone by the end of the night with the exception of one tier of cake and our cutting cake. Definitely recommend this family owned & operated catering and dessert business for anyone looking for catering services!

We just had J&D Catering for our wedding this past weekend. We got food catered through them, as well as cupcakes and our wedding cake. Literally could not have asked for a better experience with Diane and everyone else involved. Diane was very organized from the very beginning stages of planning this entire thing, and I was blown away on the wedding day. Food was amazing, and everything went exactly the way we wanted it to go.I did not know about J&D Catering before I started wedding planning, and I would now HIGHLY recommend getting their services!

Fantastic food and service for our Galena wedding! Diane and her whole staff were great to work with from the taste-testing session to the day of our wedding. And the mac n cheese - everyone raved over it including my wife and I! Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a caterer in the area!

We used J&D for our wedding cupcakes. They were the best cupcakes I have ever had! All of my guests also said the same thing. We got to choose 4 different kinds. They provided stands and displayed them beautifully the day of the wedding. They also left to-go boxes underneath the table for us to take the remaining cupcakes home. Diane was wonderful to work with - she let us do a cupcake testing that was very fun! Also-very reasonably priced. I highly recommend J&D!

We hired J&D for our wedding cakes. There were 3 half sheet cakes of different flavors, and a separate tiered cake. All of the cakes were phenomenal. The taste, texture, and overall look of each one was second to none. Each year for our anniversary, we plan on coming back for more!

J & D Catering did the catering for my wedding. We were very pleased with the staff, responses to emails, and food selection. We had a few guests with dietary restrictions and the staff was willing to work with us to find foods that everyone could eat. A few guests commented the food didn't taste like typical wedding food. I would recommend J & D Catering for weddings or other events.

We had J&D cater our wedding back in September. They were willing to come all the way down to Bellevue to do it. When they showed up, Diane had a few questions and needed little direction. We had an idea of where we wanted our dessert table but didn't have it decorated or anything. I came back around a while later and Diane had set all the cupcakes up and designed the table with some of our left over centerpieces, and it looked great! I could tell right away that this clearly wasn't her first rabbit hunt.We had a guest that had a lactose concern and Diane said to send them over if they have any questions, she was willing to help them with their concerns. After dinner was winding down, I was getting concerned about leftovers. I told her that we forgot to getcontainers for all the leftovers. She very confidently said we(J&D) have it taken care of and she wanted me to just go enjoy our wedding. It was amazing how much I relaxed after that.After chatting and dancing I looked over at the kitchen and it was dark. They were gone! I didn't even know they left. I walked over, tables were cleaned off (except for their delicious cupcakes!) leftovers were packed up and stacked nicely in the fridge...Ahhh...what a relief! The food was good and leftovers were good reheated. Diane and the rest of her crew knows what they are doing and they do it well. Diane, thank you so much for your service! Readers, you won't be disappointed with J&D....and sample as many cupcakes as you can, THEY ARE SO TASTY!
