We stopped at the Buck Snort on our way home from spending the holidays with family. It was an easy 3 min. drive off the highway (if that) and totally worth it.The service was fantastic and the staff checked on us multiple times to make sure we had what we needed. Everyone enjoyed their food too! The menu has great variety with bbq options, sandwiches, pizza, salads, and a kids menu. They also offer daily specials.Portions were large, as well.Our family loved it and highly recommend stopping!

Stopped down because we were lured in from the onion ring smell. Ordered chicken club wrap with boom boom sauce, cheese curds, and of course, onion rings.Quick delivery time on food, delicious and hot. Definitely 20/10 will be back

Moose burger and baked beans. Hubby: sweet chili Asian wings.. and the bread pudding is the best I've ever eaten.Amazing. Tasty... Highly recommend. Great atmosphere. Just a great experience.

Buck Shot is awesome. We stopped in late but we're not rushed. Other families came in after us. The brisket sandwich was out of this world. The extra meat added was so reasonable.Their paddy melt was good, potatoe salad and fried mushrooms were good too.Kid-friendliness: Saw lots of families there.

Unique and tasty BBQ spot with many choices. Ordered the patty melt with a side salad and grilled pork tenderloin sandwich with a side salad. Don't forgetto try the deep-fried bread pudding woooow.Great service and large portions make the location extra special for a hungry moment

Love this small town restaurant!! Buck Snort has been in our regular rotation for years and for good reason - the staff has always been friendly, patient, & very welcoming! The food is always on point and made fresh. The husband switches up his order regularly, but everything he gets he loves. I am partial to the chicken wrap, but have dabbled in other items to break out of routine - I was never disappointed with anything I tried. The one thing we both agree on - the Mac n cheese is cheesy gooey wonderfulness! Always ends up being a choice for our sides.We have gotten food to-go and dined in, both experiences were great with no issues! They have a handful of TV's one with sports, weather, and one usually has a loop of different shorts from the internet on it (I think CHIVE tv?). The tables and booths are roomy and comfortable. A roll of paper towels sits in the center for your hand and face wiping needs. I think only once did I have a roll that someone manhandled with dirty saucey hands....but otherwise people seem to be humane about not touching the entire roll or ripping before they smash their food.If you haven't tried buck snort, this location is a great start and will make you feel like you've been here before with how kind they are!

I'm an Amazon Flex driver and my last delivery brought me to this small, cute town. I was famished and this establishment was close by and the pics from other reviews look amazing.This is my first time having 1000 island on a patty melt and it is real good. I'm glad that I came here.

Husband had the double Amarillo Burger, very tasty. I had the tenderloin, and it was very thick, yet still juicy not dried out, lightly breaded - just like Mom used to make! Both enough to bring some home Soda was large, side of baked beans and tator tots which had a nice crisp were about right for the price. We were a bit unsure with the name, but service was pleasant, and the place very clean. Highly recommend you stop by!

Most of what I've tried here has been very good. Whitetail nachos have become my go to, but brisket sandwich has always been good as well. Daughter loves the ribs.

We were looking for a place to eat on our way back to Dubuque from Colorado. Just about 12 miles from Council Bluff in little Neola open we found Buck Snort! The people were friendly, food was great! Some delicious, unique sandwiches. Definitely recommending that my family stray a little off the highway and stop there next time they travel to or from the Denver area!

This was a great find! The food was great! The Boom Boom Pow burger was spicy and delicious. My 4 year old ate every bite of his burger which is saying something for my picky eater. We fed our family of 4 (with tip) for $50. If we're ever back in this area again, we will definitely be back.Kid-friendliness: They had a good kids menu and high chairs and boosters available.

Food was wonderful, great service! Highly recommended!Kid-friendliness: Gave a free cookie to my granddaughter and showed her where to get crafting and coloring page! The kids help themselves to a bucket of crayons and a coloring page! What a neat idea!
