Absolutely have always loved Meg’s place. It is one of the best places in town to wander through even when you just need some inspiration. I have found so many gems over the years there and there is truly nothing better than getting a chance to chat with Meg or any of her awesome helping hands. Excellent nostalgic antique retro vintage items. Shop consignment w/multi vendor sections, furniture, lighting, great selection of vinyl records, plus good vibrations. Ada compliant w large selection of nice merchandise. gently used and some items are still in original boxes! Artwork, clothing, tables, chairs, and so much more I'm drawing a blank just trying to remember. A fellow shopper from Davenport says the inventory changes frequently enough she drops by monthly.

I made the mistake of stopping in an hour before closing time. I will be back so I can browse at leisure - this shop has something for everyone! All the groupings and setup is eye appealing, the atmosphere is welcoming and the assortment of items is plenty!

Seems to be a consignment shop, I don't know if that's exactly what it is or not. Selection changes all the time. People were friendly but not necessarily my kind of place. I wouldn't return, though. Owner(?) not happy with my review. I didn't say anything derogatory about the business, just that it was not my usual kind of place. Can't imagine going back there. I lowered my rating from 3 stars to 1 star based on the owners response to my original review. But hey, my very first 1 star review, so congratulations!!!!!!

Meg is rad, and so is her shop. You can find everything from vintage records, t-shirts, heavy metal band trading cards, dishes your awesome aunt had, jewelry from some hip vendors and so much more! Stop and dig for stickers, find some mid century furniture and some treasures you didn't expect to find!

Super cool vibe. Meg had an awesome Playlist going on while we browsed. Pretty good selection of vintage vinyl records with reasonable pricing.So much to see and as one would expect inventory changes so often.We checked out and our total struck Meg as a positive Angel Number. We left with good karma, some vinyls, and vintage Iowa souvenirs.Recommend to those into vintage shopping.

So many things to see that you must return! Probably more than once! I was overwhelmed with the great stuff. Brought back alot of childhood memories & being young at home still. I nearly cried but it wasn't easy not to. I THANK MEG for the fabulous time & memories❣

Awesome antique shop with lots of fun retro items from the 70's and 80's. Lots of records, home decor, vintage kitchen, tiki, and more. It keeps going and going as you go downstairs. Packed with unique items and fun to browse.

A shop definitely worth visiting! 3 levels full of a variety of unique finds! There is something for everyone... antiques, vintage, upcycled, refinished furniture, handmade soaps. Just all around, a very fun store!

The Wild Thing is absolutely the best antique, vintage shop West of the Mississippi River! Great finds on 3 floors & tons of funky & fun vendors with great prices... Then check out Candle Shed Effect right next door for lots of great vintage/antique, upcycled, unusual & tongue in cheek finds! Great candles & sooooo much more! Definitely a must stop!
