When I need something toolwise, they usually have it. Not where I go to buy top end tools that I need to really last. But I do have to say HF seems to be stepping up with some better quality over the last few years.

This brand has a bad reputation for poor quality equipment. For some things that is the case, for others the exact opposite.Regardless, it's always very inexpensive. They have an amazing return policy, and an even better warranty if you purchase it.Returns with no questions as amazing in the 21st century.Everyone is very helpful every time I go here and that means a lot.

When Muscatine got a Harbor Freight, I had to check my pulse. Once I verified my heart was beating, I drove to the location, and saw what looked like a light beaming down from Heaven, onto the store front...For the last nine years, I have been trying to figure out how Harbor Freight stays afloat by selling this level of quality at such a low price point. I would put any of the hundreds of hand tools and power tools I've purchased from HF, up against the big brand names, any hour and any day of the week, and I paid probably 1/2 to 1/4 of the price. I could replace the tool 2 to 4 times over, but the funny thing is, I don't have to.Furthermore, the coupons are second to none and they have the best warranty on the business. There is no better store for tools. Period.

Every time I've visited Harbor Freight I have nothing but good experiences there. Every employee has definitely asked if I needed any help finding something. As much as I have browsed around I have a good idea where to look but they're are good about answering any questions you may have. It's a great place for the people that don't have to have professional tools to make your living. But if you need a particular tool for a job you may only do once in a great while well here's the place to go and purchase that tool for a fraction of the cost and it will perform at the level of that sort of duty as well. For someone like me their equipment is suitable for me and it won't break the bank either.

I bought fairy lights for our daughters wedding wrapped them around a wreath they are soft warm yellow! They were $5.99 a beautiful fairy lights with great value and pretty lights with 8 different light settings!

I can't say a whole lot about the knowledge of the employees considering when I went in I knew exactly what I was looking for and where it was but I can say that I was greeted immediately upon coming in the door and asked if I needed any help. So the minimal amount of customer service I did experience was phenomenal.

The prices are affordable. If you sign up for membership it is FREE and usually get a extra discount. Send out a free catalog advertising the sales for the month. They gave me a discount my birthday I bought a large xxx tarp.

Reasonable prices. I would not recommend buying stuff here if you're going to use it professionally. Meaning most of the stuff seems to be lower quality and you wouldn't want to rely on it for your livelihood. For a guy like me that's not going to use it everyday though it seems to be a pretty decent store.

I had an employee going today to swap out my concrete mixer because I was still within the 90 days and And he was told that they would replace it one time. And also he was told there I return a lot of items which were supposedly lifetime warranty Is it my fault that the company can put lifetime warranty on something and then not live up to it If they can afford to live up to their lifetime warranty on hand tools then they should probably close shop He was told this today by Brad which is the district manager but when I called the store to speak to Him he had just left the store. Which she really just did not one answer the phone or speak To me. If I ran my business like they are this one I would not have any jobs to do and I am fine with taking my money to menards where I have spent over $20,000 last year.

Harbor freight is the McDonald's / fast food side of tools and hardware stores. They're raising prices and quality which will cause them to lose some customers but will attract a new set of customers. Not a bad place if you know what your after and how to use it 😉

Very knowledgeable staff very helpful signing what you need if you can't find what you're looking for just ask there they're extremely happy to help. I went in here before camping and was able to find everything that somebody would need to make it in the nature if they don't have it you must not need it cuz I saw generators and power washers and batteries and flashlights and D rings boom

For the home handyman or shade-tree mechanic, this is the place to go to for decent tools at reasonable prices. They aren't Milwaukee or DeWalt, but they'll get the job done at about half the price or less.
