Female cashier had an angry attitude. When I went outside there were 2 other customers discussing how horribly rude she was to them as well. If you hate your job that much then find another one. Don't take it out on your customers. I will go elsewhere from now on.

I’m a truck driver and I was across the road getting my truck fixed so to kill time I stopped in. The people that work in this store are the nicest people I’ve ever met. They assisted me in ways I could never imagine. I came in to buy a few items and by the time I was done I had bought almost $200 worth of stuff for my truck. Mind you I walked to the store. The store manager took the time out her day to make sure I made it back to my truck safely. I’m really thankful for her and her staff. I highly recommend this store. I found things in this store I didn’t think they would have. Great place with great people.

This is the best Dollar General within an hour drive from Grandview. The store is usually pretty clean. It's one of the better organized Dollar General's I've ever been inside. I've heard they've had some trouble finding people to keep the place open so who knows how long this location will be around. One small thing which people shouldn't panic about, there was a roach crawling around on a shelf during our last visit. We notified a worker and they immediately put out some traps. I'm not too concerned because the store is clean.

I found several bottles of tea with broken seals left on shelves. One staff member tried to confront me for letting my sister carry her own bags because it was “ungentlemanly.” He was really hostile, and always tries to hit on her whenever she’s in the store. They keep a good clean shop with decent products, but I can’t recommend going to a store that has staff like this. Absolutely deplorable.

Actually met the management of the store Bobbie I think her name was she was a very very rude person and I think I’m gonna call the main corporate and complain the things that she mentioned to me was very rude and I don’t think she should put away fall stuff when it hits 90% off in the Fruitland store I think they should give customers opportunity to buy that for 90% off but she put it all away so she’s going to save me a trip that’s OK because I wasn’t planning on going to your store anyways she was very very rude and I will be sure to let people know I ran into her at the Dollar General in Muscatine and that’s where some of the word she said to me well I’ll save you a trip I put it all the way in Fruitland that way I don’t waste my time And then a couple other mean things came out of her mouth I just kind of tried to ignore and I’m a very very nice person I get along with everybody but she was very mean the big B word I had a lot to say and hopefully none of you customers have to experience this

In muscatine, this is the best ran DG store. Sometimes it seems understaffed but it always has everything in stock. Great employees that always greet you with a smile and make sure you feel great.

Prices are cheap but you get what you pay for. It's fun giving the kids $5 and telling them to get what they want for $5 or under and watching them run around and calculate the best deal.

This store and the Cedar plaza store continue away have employees and management replaced because the company refuses to hire enough employees to keep the store products unpacked and on the shelves for available purchase I Have complained for years about going in to the stores and not being able to find what I need because it's sitting in boxes waiting to be unpacked this is not the fault of these employees or managers it's the company's greed and I truly love these stores products if you can find it on shelves It's very sad to see the company Refusing to allow enough employees to keep the products available for customers

Zero stars. Tried to stop at 0840 on a Saturday morning (5-1-21). Big sign on door saying open 8-5 everyday, and they clearly weren't open. Didn't answer phone either.

Our town no linger has a grocery store. Dollar General fills in the gap. The regular grocery items usually are gone by the weekend.
