The cashier today was SO sweet as I paid with coins and counted them out to deposit into cash app. She reassured me no one was behind me and didn’t want me to feel badly for it. Very endearing energy.

There may have been employees there but I didnt see any. Waited at checkout for five minutes because I wanted to buy cigarettes ended up using self checkout. I could easily have just walked out with the merchandise. Next time I will walk out if there isn't someone at the check out

The store has a large variety of items. Perfect for cooking and baking ingredients forgotten at the larger stores. They carry seasonal items as well as everyday fare. The store itself is clean and well lit. I would much rather patronize my local store than some place like Walmart.

Dollar general is close to home, the store is small but has a wide variety of products and best of all, the prices are very good.I love that they I can stop-in for essentials like milk, eggs, cereal and coffee. Even better, the milk is right at the front of the store, and not 1 mile from the entrance (Walmart).I do wish they would add curbside pickup or delivery, but they do at least offer in-store pickup which isn't so bad. If you shop at DG, make sure to get their app for digital coupons, I often find $5-$10 worth of coupons for items I already planned to purchase!

I hate shopping there but it is the only place except Casey's in this town. Nice people usually working. I see some have veg's and fruit. We need that here. I am 65 yrs old and get I'd for a pack of cigs. Stupid. Receipts are hard to read. Need better variety of food.

Not your typical Dollar General. This by far the cleanest, well organized and run like a small town grocery store. Stacy, the manager is perfect for her position, positive and has a great personality. This is definitely a role model for the rest of the chain to follow.

The Dollar General in Mitchellville is my favorite Dollar General I've ever been to. The employees are awesome, they're helpful their friendly the store is always organized and clean. favorite store!!!

This location is kept really clean, tidy, and uncluttered. Many other locations are not organized and allow stuff to spill out onto the floor and isles get blocked.
