Fun-sized muffins, milk, apple juice, coffee, fruit loops, & corn flakes is what's for breakfast. I saw butter, jelly, cream cheese, forks & knives, syrup.. but no waffle maker or batter. There's no elevator & all rooms appear to be upstairs. The family that runs this hotel are super nice & work hard to keep it clean. I had an issue & it was fixed promptly. Rooms & beds are clean.Walkability: There's a Taco John's next door & a gas station on the other side. Close to interstate.

Management is currently updating. The pool is closed for remodeling. If you like soft sheets and a firm mattress, this is the place for you! Everything was clean, and there were no strong odors. Breakfast was basic, but good. It is a bit on the outskirts of town, so there is no safe way to walk anywhere. I might stay here again if I don't plan on leaving the hotel.

The only good thing about this hotel was the location to the interstate. While the room was clean, the beds were uncomfortable. The sheets were very rough, almost like sandpaper. The microwave beeped all night long and wouldn’t work. Ice machine was broken. Breakfast was very minimal, and what I would expect at for a hotel at this price. One of the other guest we met at breakfast, complained about bugs and their friends. I would not recommend this place.

Ok place, better than the other options in the area.No ice, breakfast was very minimal. Toster was broke.Rooms were clean.Not much food options in the area. Godfathers at a gas station next door. Everything else looked scary.Not the best town to stop in, but we were tired.

I can not believe that Wyndham has their name attached to this hotel. When we arrived the parking lot was barely plowed. There was ice every where because plowing was not done properly. Walking from your vehicle to the entrance was very tricky and dangerous. The ice machine, I think, was so horrible looking, not sure if it worked or not.There was a constant noise during the night that sounded like someone working, like drilling screws into the wall. Breakfast was sub-par. The young lady at reception was pleasant. When we checked out she gave us a copy of the receipt and the ink was so pale it was difficult to read. Would not recommend.

This place smells like your grandmother's basement. A bit musty, cleaning supplies, and tacos. (There's a Taco John's in the same parking lot, and it's amazing.)The parking lot is big, and unlit. But, it's kind of off the beaten path, and I never felt unsafe. There's a gas station next door with fantastic coffee and great food for the morning.The room was spacious enough, and clean enough, but that smell, whatever it is, lingers. Beds were not the most comfortable, but I've slept in worse. Pillows were decent.The man that checked me in was a delight, with a friendly smile and helpful directions.Overall, it's a break from the road, but it's not the most comfortable stay.

Made a reservation over the phone yesterday and was promptly put on hold mid sentence. No warning. Went in with my dad.Came in around 9pm in a semi and was told by the front desk that there was truck parking. There wasn't any. I had to back completely out of the driveway and park at the truck stop nearby. Went inside and actually asked the guy if the place had bugs (past experiences) and he laughed it off and said "of course not".Went up to the room but not before nearly stepping on a key fobbed sized spider. One big enough you could see it's fur. I mentioned it to the guy but he just shrugged his shoulders and sat back down.Then there's the room. It was super musty and had a residual smell of some sort of cooking spices lingering in the air. The beds are literally 5-6 inch cots suspended on a metal frame. Went to take a shower and the floors were filthy. Towels were super stiff like they had been hang dried. And the worst part was after the shower I watched as a smaller cockroach crawled out from under a crack between the floor tiles and the toilet.I would not give these people any money. I'm not sure what the issue is but it seemed to me to either be laziness or they just suck at their jobs. Please go stay at any of the other three hotels in the area. Hopefully they aren't run by the same people.

Absolutely Disgusting rooms. From no upkeep to terrible cleaning to severely damaged rooms. Everything yellow from cigarette smoke. Walls have holes and paint chipping. Cigarette burns in blankets. Beds smelled like they were remade without the bedding being washed. The towels were damp and felt greasy. Bedding felt greasy. Employees were stand-offish and very strange. Very awkward experience.

I never learn to avoid privately run super 8. When crucial access doors are broken it's a sign of the usual rag bag circumstances. No wifi connection all night. No coffee in the room with just 2 cups for water and such. At 715 the breakfast room coffee was out and nobody at the desk to monitor. A milk jug in the fridge one third full. No meat item for Breakfast. Dank hallways like a torture chamber.

Ugh, I hate to give bad reviews. We arrived late and the first room was already occupied, thankfully the door was latched not sure if we woke them up but how scary for them. The room was not horrible however the bathroom was moldy and towels were rough. Bed was comfortable. Wyndham failed. Breakfast consisted of muffins and cereal. You definitely get what you pay for.

Looks like managed by local family. I think they allow others to occupy area also. Unfortunately the room had a terrible smell, small thin towels, a bug on toilet paper & atleast 2 worms alive on floor. Bed & pillows were clean but well used.We did like that the hotel was pet friendly although the grounds were not kept or trimmed to find a proper place for dog to be walked, our dog needed a bath immediately after her walk dirty & burs on fur.The room did have a hot shower, dorm refrigerator, microwave & the free breakfast of toast, fruit loops, gallon OJ & milk.

We were on our way to Mount Rushmore and this was the place we decided to stop. The rooms were very clean, and nice. When we were trying to fall asleep it was very quiet. At the breakfast, there was cereal, oatmeal, muffins, apples, and toast. It wasn't tons of stuff, but it still felt like you ate breakfast. One of the main reasons we stopped here was because of the sign outside that said indoor pool, however when we got there the pool was closed. The location was okay, we were right by a highway. Around you there was a lot of businesses closed however if you drove 5-10 minutes there is a better area in the downtown with a few restaurants. In the area this is one of the only hotels around, and it is an average stop if you are just staying the night to drive somewhere.

I posted this review yesterday, but somehow it magically disappeared. I wonder why???After posting this review, the owner stated that I cancelled my reservation the day of the reservation at 7:00 p.m. This is not true at all. I cancelled the day before my reservation to give them notice not to hold the room. But, they went ahead and charged me for the room one day before, and I never signed any paperwork. Below is my original review.**************************************************The management committed fraud by charging my credit card without authorization for asking to cancel a reservation because of an emergency situation. Expedia cancelled my reservation with no problem, but when I called the hotel, they absolutely refused. The management was extremely rude on the phone and would not let me talk without interrupting. I would highly recommend not staying there for any reason even if it was the last place on earth. I have family and friends who have lived in this area all of their lives, and I will notify everyone of them not to recommend this hotel. Quality of services has failed miserably. If I could give them a 0 star rating I would. They don't even deserve one start. They must be starving for money. It is so sad to see the hotel fail. I was born in this town of Missouri Valley and raised in this area for 30 years of my life, and I like to support the local businesses, but this is one I will no longer support. Beware of the management. They will deceive you for their own interest.

We stayed here for state wrestling it was an easy quick drive in to century center. The owner and front desk was super nice and helpful. They repeatedly asked if we were happy and if we needed anything. Breakfast was an unexpected bonus. While it wasn't fancy it served our purposes. For me personally I felt like the water when I showered wasn't hot enough but i like super hot water so that is pretty subjective. The beds were very soft and comfortable. Our room had a nice size tv with direct tv service, plus a microwave,fridge and coffee maker. There was a pool and hot tub but we were told it is under renovation so it wasn't open.

Very basic Motel smell very strongly musty odor very little continental breakfast toast some small pastries milk juice pool was closed permanently but still shows it on the sign. door to our first room would not shut and secure had to be moved to another room if you walk on the carpeting in the room and your White Sox they turn black carpets need cleaned desperately would not recommend this motel for any reason we were part of a wedding block and all the rooms were supposed to be the same price and other guests ended up being overcharged more than what we were charged unscrupulous practice
