First off, Jeff Adams - You should be keepingyour covid-19 opinions to yourself. Everyone has differing opinions on what is effective and what isn't. You won't sway anyone one way or another so your comment is arbitrary.The store at first glance looks very outdated and rundown. The outside isn't striking nor is the inside. The layout inside is pretty sloppy with hardware just laying around in random places. They do have aisles but they end at difficult intervals. Kind of an odd feeling when you first step in. The first time I went I was weirded out due to the fact that I was immediately lost and when it came time to pay for my items the female cashier needed help counting my change back to me. Now, I have no problem getting any public service from any human being regardless of any differences we have but it actually kind of worried me for her safety and getting taken advantage of. The following times I went the owner was there and he was very pleasant to deal with. They have a decent selection of things for being just a small hardware store and it's not hard to get help finding what you need if it's in stock.Concensus- Pros: Friendly staff, decent selection in smaller town, prices aren't unreasonable- Cons: Organization needs work, doesn't feel inviting at first glance, needs updated in all areas

This store deserves your support because they don’t deny the facts and they wear masks. Unbelievably, most businesses in the area do not have their employees wearing masks. Wearing a mask is not hard and will hasten the end to this ordeal. In addition, it shows respect for all their customers, especially the elderly and those at high risk.

This hardware store has been in this location for decades. Can't find what you're looking for? Be sure to try this place. I couldn't find a couple of items and had called six other stores in three communities before calling Milford's True Value. They had exactly what I was looking for. Don't overlook this place.

I enjoy shopping in an old fashion hardware store again. I need to support this store more so he can stay in business. He has a very good variety of hardware and gives personal service to his customers which isn't the way larger retail stores .

You typical small town hardware store. Prices on some things might be a little more expensive then Menards or Bomgaars but it's worth it to get the small town experience.
