Small town grocery store. They carry all of your basic needs, plus they have a small deli that offers take out lunch specials and a fresh meat cooler. They offer to carry out and are also polite.

In November 2018 we lost our grocery store. Mepo Foods stepped up their game and increased their inventory to accommodate their neighbors to the north. It’s a great place to shop. Their staff is always warm, helpful and friendly.

Edit 7/15/21 I would like to add that they have the best meat in the area, yes its a little more expensive but you get what you pay for! It beats both fairway and hyvee in the ground beef department for sure! If you want a hamburger that will actually keep its size when you grill it, but it here.One of the last of its kind, small town grocery store that just has everything you need and friendly workers that know your name. Truly a wonderful business and great asset to the community. If you want a hot lunch or fresh deli selection be sure and stop here.

The staff is always friendly and helpful and I love that they are willing to carry speciality foods like gluten free.The owner did not have to keep the store open in this small town, and I for one am glad that he did!

Went to the back room to wash my hands...mold around the freezer door and on the handle, mold growing up the wall where the buns are stacked.Not very clean and less than appetizing. Left without ordering
