Great store, clerk really nice. I asked how her day was & it was so nice to hear her say she was having a great day!! And she DID NOT SAY. she only had so much time left til she got off... She helped me find what I needed. Great asset to your store!!

Love the convenience and I can usually find what I need. I DO prefer this store to the several others in the county! Biggest downfall is they do not staff enough people and they seem way overstocked in some areas and not organized (which I've found very common in dollar generals)

Fairly clean and organized store, but sometimes they are slow to get to their roll tainers. Staff is friendly. Doesn't always have the products I need but they are in a pinch because they are taking up the slack for a grocery store that closed

It's an okay place but most of the time there's only one person on duty . That person has to do stocking and work the cash register which means usually the customers have to either find the clerk or wait for the clerk. They need more employees than one on a shift there should be one person at the cash register at times

The Ottumwa, Iowa store on main street isn't well maintained or properly stocked, but due to Covid they are under staffed & have no control over shipments of freight. Still friendly employees.

You would think if an item is on sale, it should ring up on sale! Every time I try to buy soda at Dollar General it rarely rings up the right price at this store or any other one. I always have to bring it to the cashier's attention. This particular time, when brought to their attention, I was told, "It's taken off at the bottom of the receipt." It was not. That's almost a $2 difference per carton. Please train your cashiers to be able to read your own reciepts!! And please perhaps have easier to read reciepts! And please have all sales in your system or take the signs down!

Says on website DG closes at 9. Did not stop anywhere in Burlington to get diapers after work because of website hours. When I got to DG in Mediapolis at 8:52, they were closed, so now I only have 1 diaper for my daughter. DG should update their website to reflect temporary hrs due to virus!!

I can't help but love Dollar General. For me they are a modern day corner grocery store with an array of other items in it. I shop Dollar General often.

There was an expired coupon they wouldnt honor one night for me but the next night they honored it for someone else in front of me in line.... Not a good way to keep customers
