I don't get to Target on a regular basis because I have to drive out of town. All that aside, I have never been disappointed in any of my shopping experiences at Target. The stores have always been clean and well organized with a great selection of products. I am still struggling with knowing where everything is after the remodel in Mason City but it is not a big deal. The customer service has been great the large majority of the time; helpful, smiles and friendly. My only complaint is the lack of registers open for checkout. I do not like self checkout. I will always be a Target shopper and will happily recommend them to others.

You cannot get better service than from a store; our Mason City Target is the best. Staff are always helpful and knowledgeable, taking care to engage with you and following up when they see you and are aware of struggles going on in your life. Large order? Staff have personally offered to help bag or walk things to my car without me asking. Unbeatable guest experiences time and time again.

I have been waiting for my baby registry bag for over 2 months this now and the store associates keep telling me they ordered them a mo th ago and haven't received them. I wrote a contact card or comment card for corporate to see and address the issue and have not been contacted at all. Target is a huge company that offers the best registry and promotes business by offering this registry bag to expecting moms... this bag is so important bc it has some of the best coupons inside to buy items from thier business. Now I'm getting impatient and angry bc I'm ready to shop for my new baby and I'm going to be missing our on the coupons I've gotten year after year while pregnant. I know I'm not the only mom mad at this situation. Targwt.... don't advertise if you can't keep your supply on demand. Now i.might be doing all my shopping elsewhere. It's that serious to me.

You used to be able to walk into Target and the employees seemed happy and the customer service was outstanding, and that's why you paid a premium to shop there over Walmart. Unfortunately that is no longer the case. I can't say if it's company wide or just this Target in particular, since we moved here from the East Coast and this Target is the only Target we patronize now. But we have been to atleast ten other Target stores in our life and this one just screams "misery." I can safely say our family spends a few thousand dollars at Target every year, and our last couple of visits have been a real turn off. Walmart is not much further down the road and the employees there are a lot friendlier, they actually have registers open. They've even taken my items out of my cart and put them on the conveyor belt to ring up and then went around and put the bags back in my cart. I didn't expect that, but that's the kind of polite and caring service they've been offering there lately. Not just someone standing with a scowl on their face at the end of the self checkouts watching over people like has been the case at this Target lately.

This store is horrible since they remodeled it, and the women's clothing section absolutely sucks. Only one register open with a guy that obviously didn't want to be at work, and only self checkout's at one end of the store that were opened too. Sadly it will be my last trip in this store.

Only 10 items for self checkout now? I'm one of those weirdos that love self checkout, but now I'm forbidden from using it? I hate Walmart, but I'll be shopping there until this gets resolved. Makes no sense.

Target in Mason City Iowa is it pretty decent store. Sometimes you can get really great deals on groceries. Sometimes you can get better deals than Hy-Vee or a fareway. Once in awhile you can find some good deals on clothes.

After waiting with a shopper in a wheelchair for the only bathroom open- a single stall family restroom, for over 10 minutes, an employee came out, phone in hand. Come on target- get an employee bathroom so your workers aren’t holding up shoppers. I understand the store is under remodeling, but let’s do better.

As of Writing this review (4/8/2023) this store is being renovated. But the store I think will kinda look the Coral Ridge Store in Coralville. But this is Mason City, Not Coralville. I found the calculator that looks like my schools here for 17.99 (18.00 rounded up). I also thank the self checkout person for helping me use my Gift Card. This is an amazing store with a friendly and helpful staff they are remodeling and it looks great can’t wait to see the finished product. Construction team is very nice and accommodating as well store is clean even with all the work going on.

Great selection of products. Love the layout of store. Wider aisles. Not having to dodge workers stocking shelves all the time. Has self checkouts that are always available. And may sound silly, but LOVE their sacking bags...they are nice and thick and can pack more into them without worrying about tearing.

An Ok store. I love love love Target in general, but I hate shopping at this specific store. Not updated to the target that I can find in other cities. The clothing is always super messy, over stocked, and hard to find anything. Bra and underwear are completely disheveled. Baby stuff is always unorganized and hard to shop in as I’m always running into another mom or a cart. The shoes! So messy and hard to find a pair that goes with the displayed shoe. Toys and home decor are decent. Grocery is good and well stocked for the most part. Prices are good although they have gone up recently, but what hasn’t. Again, it’s an ok store but I would love to see it held to a higher standard.

We had great customer service as we checked out. I believe his name was Troy and when there wasn't an aisle open for us, he opened one up for us. Then he asked if we found everything and when I casually mentioned I just couldn't find the pumpkin cupcakes, he called the bakery and wrangled some up for us. He went above and beyond his job description and gave my girls and me a good laugh too as we then left the store with 4 packs of cupcakes. I appreciated the gal from the bakery continuing to look for them too. Kudos to your team for making our day a little bit better!

For a place that claims to not discriminate this place sure does. The leaders and higher ups r always in the office, the store is a mess. Kyle the manager is a joke no one respects him, the amount of safety hazards in the back room is concerning. This place is worse than Walmart.

Sure, some items may cost a little more which is generally not true, but you don't feel like you are in a race and fighting off the crowd because Target does not have narrow, packed, and cluttered isles. Low stress shopping and shorter check-out lines.

Went to pick up a costume I ordered online that said was in stock before hand, order said processing for 40 minutes so I eventually went over and went to ask the help desk. Girls at desk stood talking not even acknowledging I was there and once they did an older women came over to help and when I told her about the situation she aggressively told me they can’t do anything till it says it’s done processing. Payment already went through all they had to do was go get it and it was at 9pm at night with multiple people working standing doing nothing. Processing ended and it said out of stock, i went in and found 12+ of the costume sitting there. Lady behind counter needs an attitude check.

This was wrongful termination they fired me for no reason they’re losing a very valuable employee/customer and they’re going to lose thousands of dollars I’m never shopping at this target for a long time

We were shopping for our incredible shrinking mom. Had decided we had found all there was there. We were asked by a manager type who asked what we were looking for, he then introduced us to Amanda as someone who could help us. Rebecca and Amanda helped us locate a few items we hadn't noticed and assisted us in ordering the appropriate size and desired color. We then made our way to checkout where we had a pleasant experience with Becky, whom kept our stuff while we went back for forgotten items. We had a positive and pleasant experience at the Mason City Target.

I don't know why but this particular Target store location fascinates me. It's laid out differently than any other location I've been to, and I've been to dozens of Targets. A couple times I've driven from Minneapolis to Mason City just to visit this location! It'll probably change in a matter of months, rendering this review moot, but I just wanted to throw it out there that I love this oddball Target.
