Kayley the manager is AMAZING! she was MORE than helpful and very knowledgeable! Even willing to teach me a few new things about different reptiles I haven't owned yet. It's a 45 min drive here and only a 10 min drive to my normal pet store but I will be coming here from now on!!!

Thinks that they have a right to change my delivery address on one order, change my delivery type from same-day twice on two others, and then cancel a fourth.Claimed inventory was the reason for the changes and cancelation, but there was more than 20 of the purchased item on their shelvesClaimed to have refunded me, and made everything right; but they've done nothing but steal my money and cause my pets to have less food than they need just because they wanted to and not offer any substitute or anything elseIt is customer service 101 to contact the customer and offer a substitute or see what else the customer would want done. They could EASILY have an option to pre-select a substitute, but no; they decided that they would just mess up every time and make me buy every order TWICE just to get one bag of food

First time being here! Was looking for puppy items and buying frozen mice for my baby ball python. I had called beforehand to inquire about mice & young man was very helpful and knowledgeable. Found the same thing while in the store. I will definitely be coming back here!

ok this review has absolutely nothing to do with the staff. there is a gal there my family absolutely loves super friendly and personable everytime even on a bad day. the only bad thing I have to say is crickets that's how my little gals survive and they never have any. i have to drive hours to get some for a multi million dollar company you think they could pay for fast shipping so their feeders don't all arrive dead

If I could give this store 0 stars I would. Spent 40 minutes waiting for service, when asking an employee that was doing nothing (KC) she was very rude and told us to wait until another employee was done doing truck. (Truck drops the trailer by the way, it isn’t like the truck driver is waiting for them.) When we went and found the other employee, both of them were sitting there chatting. They then proceeded to sell us fish that died within hours of being in a perfectly cycled tank. Refused to give us store credit back (40 dollars in fish by the way) without a water sample. They were extremely rude to us about it as we tried to tell them we live 45 miles away and can’t just run back and get them a water sample. They told us “we can’t do anything. sorry.” TLDR; POOR SERVICE, RUDE EMPLOYEES AND HALF DEAD FISH!

I came to Petco after a frustrating morning with my new puppy who was chewing on everything except the toys I picked out! I walked into the store and headed towards the chew toy aisle when I was pleasantly greeted by Erin who was working in the area and asked if she could help me with anything. Initially I declined but than after feeling overwhelmed with all the options I told her I had a new puppy who is in the teething stage and instantly she knew what to show me! She gave me three great options and explained how long they will last and helped me avoid some mistakes other puppy owners make. Her explanation and suggestions were all happily received as well as purchased! I’m now home with my puppy who is chewing on the three toys Erin showed me instead of chewing on me, the house or our other dog!! Erin was so helpful in this one visit that she has made my week so much less stressful and it’s Christmas week! What a relief to have the correct toys for the exact stage my puppy is in! I what a difference a her expertise has made already & I will definitely be back for more help from Erin whenever I need!

Went here to get our Shih Tzu groomed.We work over the road so had a hard time knowing exactly when we could get there.The man working there squeezed us in around our schedule and did an amazing job making our puppy feel comfortable as it was his first time being groomed.We will definitely be going back here.We loved that it has a window where you can watch them while they are grooming your dog.Highly recommend

I have had coupons for free dog food from many past purchasesThese girls worked DILIGENTLY until they fixed my account. They are gems and did not have to do this. I hope you reach out to them as they went above and beyond!

My favorite Petco employee was working when I went in yesterday, Kayley was working at the register. There was a wait so I got to witness her interactions with other guests. With everyone she asked if they knew the return policy then gave them a lil additional info of her own about the item they were buying. She made everyone feel like she genuinely cared about them. They were smiling when they left. You have a rare gem in her as a retail person!!! Thanks Kayley for being so kind and genuine!

I was in the store for about 20 minutes and absolutely no one asked if I needed help finding anything. Store was untidy had carts setting around waiting to be unloaded. But only saw 1 person in the store as I was leaving.

I don't often shop at petco due to poor reptile care, however this store was amazing. The whole store was clean and stocked well. I also saw an associate feeding the nocturnal reptiles at the appropriate time. On top of that they all looked really well taken care of, they even had the older bearded dragons separated from the babies!!! This continued into the aquariums! It's easy to see this store really cares about the animals in their care, of every store was this good I would stop going to PetSmart entirely!

Stopped by to get some food for my son's bearded dragon and when looking at the horned worms they were dead or not in their cartons on the self. I got some meal worms and roaches for him. When I went up to the counter to pay for my purchase I told the lady about the horned worms. She said that she would take a look at the self and take care of the issue and apologized for the issue. It's a very wonderful and nice place to get your pet supplies and grooming done. Highly recommended

pretty disappointed. almost all chain pet stores aren’t the best, but the state their feeder bugs are in is just sad most of the time. i have 5 tarantulas, and came here pretty often for crickets. the feeder insects near the reptiles were always in a pretty bad state, but more recently it’s been getting worse. hornworms rotting in their containers, all cockroaches completely dead with no or dried up food, and all 20-30 crickets in the takeout boxes completely dead and turned into a weird mush at the bottom of the box. i understand crickets are cannibalistic, but i really feel there’s gotta be a better way to store them, especially for how long they’ve been outi do really appreciate the employees however, as they’re all pretty knowledgeable and most are extremely nice

I really enjoy our local Petco, and am usually there once a week. Picking up in store is preferable to delivery for me, since I enjoy seeing the Cat of the Week from the PAWS adoption charity, and enjoy seeing people and pets as well as browsing. Staff have always been friendly and conversational, as well as knowledgeable. It's good to know that many of them have pets at home and have personal experience with the products, etc. I also appreciate that when a family can no longer take care of small pets (Guinea pigs, etc.), they help to re-home them, and we've added to our pet family in this way as well. They are a great asset to our community!

Neat, clean store. Difficult to figure out what I needed to take care of my pets because no employees seemed to care to help as I wandered around the dog/cat pet supply area. My sale would have been larger if there had been anyone to help me. It wasn't as if there weren't extra employees in the store. I even asked for help in the dog/cat pet supply area, and no one ever appeared.The only plus was at the checkout. When I said something to the cashier, he gave me a percentage off on every single item I purchased.

I took my recently rescued dog from Humane Society to get a bath & nail trim. Jasmine & Jill did a brilliant job, spoiled her, and were reluctant to give her back to me! Thank You ladies for giving my new (old lady) a fresh start in her new home!!!

They always do an amazing job grooming our dog. She is half Husky and half Australian Shepherd and very fluffy. A lot of different brands and types of food and treats for both our dogs and cats. Great customer service. Very caring staff.
