You can send in your prescription or refill a full week in advance and you will still have to verbally argue with them to get the medication you or your insurance is paying for. A pharmacist outright told me that techs are trained to say "it'll be here tomorrow" no matter what. Hy-Vee uses central filling. They have no idea when it'll be there, is my guess.The other excuse you'll get is "we're experiencing shortages". You can actually look up shortages on the FDA's website. Guess how many times there's a real shortage. Before I moved my prescriptions elsewhere, the tally was still zero.The biggest gripe I have with this place is they will talk to you like you are a complete fool for just wanting your medications before you run out. Like you are the unreasonable one. My wife had the same experience, and her medications are much more important to her continued life on this blue marble than mine are.You'll start off polite, because that's how you were raised. Then when you notice that the information they tell you doesn't make sense, your politeness gives away to shortness, and eventually on your third time there, you're already upset before you even step in the door.I'm a lifelong midwesterner. I hate that feeling. I bet you do too. Just take your medications elsewhere.

This place needs new management. Some of the staff are downright angry and it shows. Here’s my week long process to find out they either were flat out wrong or, worse, lied to me. I suspect it was the latter.My provider prescribed 90 pills. No communication from store that they were ready and I was nearby so headed in.Using a widely used app that provides discounts was met with attitude and a 15 minute wait to process a discount. Only to find out at check out that they decided on their own to only fill 10 pills despite the doctors script and my coupon both indicating 90 pills. No one said a word.When I asked about the total being less than a 90 pill supply (around 30 cents a pill, expecting a $30 tab but it was $11) was told we filled ten. I asked them to check the script. “Yup she only sent in 10”.Later confirmed with provider it was a 90. So I called the store only to be told “they’re real busy and probably can’t take your call”. On hold for 10 minutes, I dropped. Note there is no other way to communicate other than in person, best of my knowledge. So, I Then transferred scrip electronically to another pharmacy without indicating anything about the quantity issues. And they filled it for 90. Hmmm. What the heck is going on at this place?Don’t go here unless you like wasting time and money.

Our family shops at HyVee Drug daily because of its convenient location to our home. The store manager is very friendly. Today I encountered the assistant manager when asking about the pricing of an item, and was very disappointed how rude she acted towards me. As a regular customer to this specific location, friendly customer service would be appreciated.

Switched from using my paid medsets to SureMed weekly pill pack. And never gave me back my medsets I paid over the counter. Each medset were $10.00. I needed 4 of them which came to $40.00. Pharmacist employee obviously through them UN their trash. They treated it as if they owned my medsets, and treated it as if not a big deal.

I like this place at my Pharmcy there nice and I appreciate them however Stephanie is just so rude to people but Jovanna she is great I recommend her any day than Stephanie jovanna is really nice to people and it makes a difference I just don’t like talking to Stephanie and she just talks so fast too and you can’t even understand her Stephane needs to find a Job she likes cause she hates this apparently and people don’t even wanna talk to her and lastly Candace is so rude she is disrespectful to anyone and she is a Terrible human that does not deserve to work anywhere but home she is so terrible to people and does not do what people ask never in a million years I would write this but Stephane and canard both needs to be diets is retired they hate their jobb and I want them to hate their job Candace needs to step up

Worst pharmacy around. My 1 year olds prescription was called in at 11am from the Dr's for a basic antibiotic. I came at 12:30 to pick it up.They made me wait 25 minutes twice telling me to come back for it to be ready and still not ready with a sick child. I live out of town and had to get the prescription before going home. Sara at the drive thru was very rude and not helpful. I suggest to find a different pharmacy to go to.

My prescription was called in at 9:30 am. I called at 3:30 pm to ask if they'd received it.The answer was yes and I was *promised* that it would be ready for me at 7:00 pm when I got off work.Guess what?Not only did I have to recite my birthday multiple times, MY PRESCRIPTION WASN'T READY!It took them THREE AND A HALF HOURS for the incompetent Hy-Vee staff to NOT FILL my prescription.Who was the liar that took my call?Why does she think I have the time and energy to drive to Hy-Vee just to hear that she failed me?

I asked the counter person in the liquor store a question and got nothing but attitude. I don't know if she did not think I would notice or say anything or what. I took the manager to the side and let him know I did not appreciate her attitude.There is another Hy-Vee liquor store just down the street. I would suggest you go to the other one.I would give this a negative Star if I could.
