High pricing. Sacked my own items. No help in the store. Probably why the prices are so high. Oh, wait that would be the reason there should be more help right! You corporations are all the same. Stuff more money in their pockets and provide shoddy services and expect the consumers to foot the bill. That's all folks.

It's nice that they offer less expensive store brand items. I saved about $10 on a raspberry dessert that I made for a church event.

Hy-Vee East has really gone down hill recently. Called ahead today to see if I needed to pre order chicken, they assured my that wasn’t necessary, and if they have chicken ready. They were probably maybe seven pieces of chicken when I got there. I was very upset I spoke with the employee who was literally told him I called less than an hour ago and he insinuated that I called 3 1/2 hours ago. I had to show the manager a screenshot to prove to them that I wasn’t lying. This type of customer service doesn’t go very far I will give the manager major props because she made it right.

I am not impressed with this Hy-vee. Every time I have gone into this store the employees are rude. The shelves have been unstocked multiple times. Then, in turn, I end up having to go to a different store; wasting my time and my money. The prices are unbelievably high. The rewards program never seems to take my coupons and I never seem to get any fuel-saver credit. The employees do not have the time/care to make it right. 😒

I when for desert or something sweet! I found something but not what I really wanted! The freezer section is a no go! I'd suggest the fresh produce and health food Area if u know what I Talking about!

I was disappointed. I feel our little store here in Northwood is expensive, but I could get the items I was looking for as cheap or cheaper here than at HyVee, and they don't have the purchasing power that HyVee has. Also, I picked up a bag of small sweet peppers. From the outside of the bag, they looked fine, but the peppers in the center of the bag were moldy.

Special on Chinese food tonight $7.00. I went at 5:30 and very disappointed. There were only 3 items Sesame Chicken, Spicy chicken and General chicken. Noodles dried to the pan lots of egg rolls. Peak time and no food. So sad. I ended up picking up chicken dinner which was all fresh. Very disappointed with the Asian grill and wonder why specials are run when there is no food to choose from. Plus no one wasn't even cooking anything. Actually the cook rang up my meal.

I bought a gourmet strawberry rhubarb pie from the bakery at HyVee East . Tried to eat it . The rhubarb and strawberries were not cooked. The rhubarb was hard , completely raw. This was a complete waste of my money. All they would say was they were sorry , no refund.

Seems like I can find something disappointing every time I shop at Hy-Vee East. Being out of 48¢ candy bars, out if Fuel Saver Lorraine Swiss, and getting no help from Meat department stocker is not uncommon. But, having a new checkout system without training the cashiers is a big headache. This is the last place I want to stand and wait. I also have to hope that I won't get charged too much or that my coupons will work. The poor kid, Fabian, at the register Sunday morning was doing his best to help me. Unfortunately, he was only able to give me $4.50 off of a $5.00 off coupon. He was trying all sorts of stuff to get me my discount, but he was not trained to do it properly or quickly. Please hire someone to train your employees.

Despite some short supply issues everywhere during the pandemic still, Hy-Vee has had what I needed. Their deli counter is great, and their sushi is good too!Our cashier, Devon, was amazing and very helpful. She was extremely kind for how busy it was and stressed she probably was. She was especially friendly and kind.More self checkouts have been added, and I usually checkout without an issue now!

Shopped here today and the bathrooms are stinking up the bakery/cheese/deli section like an actual Greyhound bus. This is not my first experience like this. Clean the bathrooms please.

This HyVee is very nice, clean and so many options for food selections to eat there or shop for home, there's even an entire section called the healthy market that nothing but healthier options for every occasion.

This is my preferred HyVee as they tend to have more options for vegan foods and specialty products. My find on this visit was Pamela's Graham Crackers as I was making a gluten free dish for family. It saved me the hassle of making them from scratch! Store has a nice selection of everything.

HyVee is a good place to find health market items that you may not find other places. I enjoy trying different items such as red lentil pasta today. The East store in Mason City has a fantastic kitchen with a variety of cuisine. It also usually has more of certain supplies such as electronic wipes for cleaning. The lay out of this store is backwards from the West location and it takes me a little longer to find what I am looking for. The staff are friendly and courteous.

Quick check out well stocked for most items pharmacy staff very helpful I am always asked if I need help finding products at least once. Very clean and well maintained. The credit union is still closed but opening soon. Take out food is available.

My parents order their groceries from this Hyvee location every couple of weeks. We are able to drive up call the phone number given and the whole set of groceries are delivered right out to our van. What a great service! So thankful they offer this and the service is always fast and friendly. What a huge time saver! Thanks

Have you ever, when shopping, felt like an inconvenience to the staff? That was 100% my experience today at Hy-Vee East. The meat counter appeared closed as the lights were off and the woman working back there was indifferent at best. Employees just walk in front of you without the “hello” or “sorry for almost running into you” that usually is customary in polite society.I don’t live in this town anymore so this is only my second experience recently. Unimpressed with the staff, the store seemed disorganized and messy, and the checkout was understaffed. Sad to see how far it has fallen from the Hy-Vee I remember growing up.

I have the hyvee plus membership and use it frequently. I thought pick up would be great but there's been quite a few issues with things being out of stock and not offering a chance to substitute, bruised fruits, getting the wrong varieties of fruits. It's not hard to look at a sticker and only takes a second. The online shoppers just need to use a little more care and attention
