They were open until 9pm. They had a large selection of regular items and Christmas Decorations available. The worker that checked me out, at close, was very pleasant. I did purchase a brand new, still tagged at $59.95, Lands End long sleeve Polo for $4.25. Deal!!!

All the employees at Goodwill of Great plains in Mason City Iowa are so nice. Went in there to find some work jeans / cheap summer clothes and left with an arm full. Would definitely recommend trying there If you are looking for any type of household goods or clothing.

UPDATE: Apparently the store is either under new management, or has simply stepped up their game a bit. Things have been considerably easier to find than before and the store is somewhat more clean. Good job Goodwill!One of the worst Goodwills I've ever been in. Dirty and disorganized. The selection of merchandise is lacking. However, the staff is generally friendly and is always the highlight of a trip there.

I found several tops and light jackets to match. Bought nice black tall boots. My favorite purchase today is a black pair of Cowboy boots which I have been watching for a long time to buy! I love everything!

Store is large. Lots of inventory. Always clean. This particular branch is very clothing heavy. Some furniture but definitely not one of the furniture heavy stores.

People let their kids run wild when shopping. They do not speak English. They were standing in the handicap parking space.so I could not park their and parent was inside store paying no attention to her 3 boys. 5-8 years old Mexicans. You can't even talk to them to alert whats going on.

Like any thrift store really. It was clean and tidy, more clothing items than anything. We were looking for jeans for the hubby for work and there were more dress pants than anything in the mens pants section.

Usually a great place to shop but went in today with my daughter and wife and 4 minutes before the store closed they were denied to use the bathroom by a Rude Employee. Boooooooo! I made sure we didn't buy anything today!!!!

This is suppose to be a Thrift store but the prices keep going up and up. I could shop walmart clearance and buy new shirts and pants about the same price as the prices at goodwill now. The staff is friendly and the store normally clean. Since there is a new manager I have noticed a lot of selling out of the back room to the same customers going on...personally handing electronics and ect to them. What a shame

They’re open late which is awesome for people who work late! Smaller store. The staff is always friendly and prices are for the most part reasonable.

ATTENTION EVERYONE Dont take your wooden furniture to goodwill, they're busting it up and throwing it in the Dumpster, I dropped off a nice Entertainment center and I seen what looked like pieces of it in there dumpster the other day. Watch what you give, It could end up in the dumpster .

This Goodwill is large but not well organized. It is hard to find things and items are poorly marked. Yet I was able to find a few good buys to up cycle.
