Great customer service yesterday by the meat department. Also from the woman at the checkout who transferred my items electronically from self serve lane to a regular checkout lane very efficiently, but more importantly in a friendly quick manner. Well done!

I used to shop Fareway for the meat department. Fabulous product and excellent service. And than filled my cart w/ everything else but now...not sure if they just gave everyone a huge raise during Pandemic. But when Fareway is more expensive than Walmart or even Hy-vee, which is crazy, I can't afford their sky-rocket prices and only go in for a tub of ham salad or when Diet Pepsi is on sale. Sad but true.

This has 5 stars for the value of their goods & services. Item for item they are low cost and a good variety for their size of building. The meat department is excellent with a large choice of meat & poultry. They have very fresh vegetables as well as a good frozen food area. Plenty of parking and wheelchair accessible.

Great experience. Lots of people wearing masks the store had all we were looking 4. Prices are extraordinary high. I see someone is profiting from the C- 19 crisis. And the government wants 2 know what we are spending our stimulas money on. Really! It's called legal extortion. Has anyone looked at gas prices lately? Wow!4 stars.

Great store, clean, friendly staff, well stocked. Only downside is, you tend to stand in line a while. They seem reluctant to open more checkout lanes sometimes. But one of my favorite stores regardless.

I miss the old check out. Now there's self checkout, and the machines are weird and touchy compared to Walmarts and Targets ones. If you don't get the item into a bag immediately after you scan it, like less then a sec, you have to wait for assistance, just dumb. I am like trying to get a bag open to get an item into it, an oops it took too long. Darn bags are hard to get apart. I got to remember to get a bag ready before I start I guess, or bring your own bags if they let you.

We know Fareway has a great meat Department and the baggers are awesome, but today cashier Sharon won best customer service in the mid-west award in my book. She had me laughing so hard! She can light up a room KEEP ON SHINNING SHARON!

Normally a good experience, today however it was not. I recently had back surgery, I came in for a few items, as I'm on a walker. I chose to not use the electric scooter because only 1 was available, surely someone other than I could use it. My checker didn't help me bring my basket to the counter (I was already in line to be served) she asked the gentlemen ahead of me if he wanted help with 2 bags, he declined. She did not ask if I needed help, in fact none of the workers asked if I needed help to my car. My problem was balance on a walker. Trying to balance bags on both sides of the walker, without falling over. Today was not a good experience at faraway. Same happened at hy vee a couple days ago difference being several workers asked if I needed help and they walked me to my car.

Very friendly people and best meat counter in town at affordable prices they also have the cheapest price on all of the name brand sodas. Best grocery store in town. I love this store.

Stopped in the Mason City Fareway to grab a few things for dinner. Fresh produce and a great looking steak. Found a couple more good deals and got through checkouts fast. Love to shop at Fareway.

Being from out of state I've never heard of a Fareway grocery coming from the east coast and I loved how they were so friendly and helpful and even care to step out to the car if you needed it... That doesn't happen on the East Coast at least the north-east it doesn't

Nice small store where you can get in and out quickly. Often sale items are out of stock which is frustrating.
