The folks working there were super helpful with sending out my UPS package, the young man working up front even held the door open for my son and I to walk in. Overall great crew and I will be shopping there way more often. Awesome place.

I needed a micro screwdriver for my laptop... Linda is a godsend she walked me up to the front and grabbed a few options for me and help me go thru sizes... Turns out the one that I need was a 4in1 for $3!! I recommend you ask for Linda for anything you need in there... she was fantastic and really turned around my overall experience today. Thank you Linda it fit great, laptop fixed!

Austin is an absolute total and complete A hole. Unfit to deal with customers. Don’t rent a Uhaul if he still works here.Everyone else there was wonderful, unfortunately they couldn’t help with the Uhaul.I was told by a manager it’s not their first complaint about Austin and they were going to try to fix the issue.

Good selection great service. I always go here when i am working on a project. They will help me work thru what i need for a handyman job. My favorite part of this place is the nuts and bolts section. They can help you find the nut or bolt for your project. I needed bolts to attach my head board to my frame. I took the bracket asked how think the wood they were going in they found me bolts and nuts suggested locking washers and nuts for extra security. And it was $3 for everything

The man who helped us get anchor screws and plastic covers was very helpful, knowledgeable, had a great sense of humor as well. Very pleasant personality. Check out girl was friendly and both of them made it shopping experience very satisfying.

Most if the staff is good with the exception of one person. A employee with short dark hair and scruffy facial hair ignored me and then was rude to me. I ended up walking out of the store. I will drive further and pay more to be treated with more respect.

It was fantastic to be able to borrow a spreader with the purchase of grass seed. I was, however, disappointed when all my questions were answered with "I don't know. " I expected more from Ace Hardware and their associates. Could have purchased for less elsewhere, but came to Ace/Kramer for their famous service reputation . Didn't receive any.

The people are very helpful. They found the exact screw I needed and even put it on for me. They didn't have the other part but directed me to another store to get it even though my only other purchase was for 28 cents.

Staff is mostly friendly. Im not sure how they stay in business when their items are overly expensive. Place is ok in a pinch. I wouldn't shop here regularly.

Loyal and frequent customer before today - terrible customer service from the manager; will be taking my business elsewhere. I think any business would name customer service as a number one priority, apparently they do not.Had am item ring up for more than listed on the shelf, they did a price check and found the item in one place for the price I stated and another place with no price. Employee unable to do price adjusment and the manager was unwilling to do anything. Words that both of them said to me "customers move stuff around all the time" failing to identify that they also had them on an unmarked shelf. The money is not the issue, it was only $4...but I expect good customer service and the manager did the opposite, offered no help and blamed their customers for the problem! Would be one star if not for the two non managerial employees doing what they could do for me. Think the manager could learn something from their employees.

Easy to find just off highway 18 on the East side of Mason City. They have lots of items from lawn & garden to hardware. Prices are high compared to Menards.
