By far the worst tacos I've ever had. They came with nothing in them but meat. No cilantro and onions... nothing. Cold when I got it. Meat was so over cooked I couldn't chew it. Nearly inedible. Please take your business somewhere else. This place is awful.

I ordered a steak and cheese burrito. THEY GAVE ME PORK. They messed my order up before and I decided to give it another try and not to my surprise they messed up my order AGAIN. I will not be attending this establishment again. Good riddance.

My sister and I have a tradition every year to visit this place and pick up Chili ingredients and a stuff for our family Halloween Party. We always grab a burrito and love it!!!! The ingredients there are always hard to find in Grinnell.

Hidden in the back of the store is this hidden gem. I tried the burrito with asada and pollo. And was very happy with my order

My boyfriend and I went there a couple days ago. I got a burrito and he got a three steak taco diner. His total was $11 and mine was $9. They were very friendly and we didn't wait long at all. And the food was amazing. My burrito was definitely bigger than any other place I've been to. Highly recommend their restaurant.

Awesome place! It is like a little enclave of Mexican culture in Marshalltown. They have a counter for dessert and food. The tamales are fantastic, best I've ever had - and they were only $2!They sell lots of authentic Mexican ingredients and snacks. Highly recommend!

I love Zamoras! They have the best avocados and the biggest, sweetest green onions ever. Their horchata is the best I've ever had and their restaurant serves up freshness every time. Don't forget an ice cream to finish off your visit!

Customer service is great on the retail side. The restaurant isn't that good. Although it is authentic with fresh tortillas. The food doesn't taste fresh. Probably do to the fact they use the product that is going bad on the retail side. I love their yogurts made on the spot.

My 4 year old grandson ate most of my steak burrito!! My daughter shared her giant burrito with me and we all left full! They also have a great selection of drinks in the store and let us bring them to the dining section. Very clean, very friendly ❤️

Great tacos!! Had hard to find blue cornmeal. Great selection of boxed teas and powder drink mixes and bottled non-carbinated drinks. Meat and produce I saw, but didn't shop. beer. Buy gold on Saturdays. Hispanic pop and candy.

Zamora market serves in or carry out some very authentic Tex/Max and carne asada , it is excellent. I went there on the recommendations of a friend and I thanked them profusely. They have authentic Tex/Mex and it is a very well stocked market I visit Zamora market regularly and advise you do the same.

Stoped by a few times for the ice cream ,each time was happy with service. Can be a bit more difficult because I’m not a Spanish speaker but they have been passionate with me. Only thing is I wish they showed there prices.

Market, deli, and fresh prepared food are available. Party decorations, pinatas and goodies, table seating area. They have a little bit of everything. Few employees can speak American English, they are very helpful in their customer service.

I love the fresh vegetables, the fantastic Mexican food in their restaurant and the unique grocery items. If you want / need restaurant size cooking equipment, Zamora Fresh Market had you covered. If you haven't tried horchata yet, you haven't tasted one of the most delicious Mexican-style drinks (kid friendly) around. Theirs is the best I've ever tried.

Been going there for many months every Thursday to get a tongue burrito. The staff does not speak very good English. But most of the time you're able to point to the menu and get through it, it's worth it really good burritos

This place is gross dont eat there cause you will get hairs in your food. They dont wear proper hair nets to maintain food safe and clean. The bathroom is HORRIFIC nasty holes on ceiling and walls. Water stains in the store ceiling by the restaurant area. Tables are always dirty and salsa bowls look like they have been sitting out there for hours disgusting . Dont.waste your hard earning money in that dump

Best burritos in town. The restaurant inside the store is a well kept secret. The food is fantastic and the service is good. I would argue that this is the best North Mexican restaurant in town. Will definitely be back.

Well, I've stopped on other occasions to grab something we needed for a meal at home, so I'm familiar with their grocery selection. You can find fresh veggies along with plenty of Hispanic meal staples. Today was my first attempt at trying a meal. Note that Marshalltown was hit by a devastating tornado just a bit over a month ago, which came right down our main street, causing damage to many merchants buildings, including Zamora's. As I'm also a merchant that suffered damage I wanted to support those that are back in biz. So, a trip for tacos was it. You have to go to the rear of the store to order. There is seating if you'd like to dine in. I've always seen them advertise their 25 taco special. The only issue was I don't speak a bit of Spanish, and the nice ladies cooking didn't speak any English. Yikes! My only worry was I'd order tripe or tongue for meat (yes, it's an option) 😁 we were all able to figure out that I wanted steak, and vegetables on the side, with both green and red sauce. Note: the red is fire engine hot, the green a nice spice. Sides to put on were simply lime wedges for juice, cilantro, and chopped onions. The tacos are what I'd consider traditional, not texmex or Americanized. The steak was tender and comes wrapped in a smaller, double wrapped soft shell. Oh, with this special you also get two, 2 litter bottles of soda of your choice. Total cost for all of this was $33.00. You can also mix and match the meats in your order, like get five pork, five beef, five tongue, whatever. They wrapped my items tightly and I still had hot tacos when I got home fifteen miles away. Note that they also have many other meal or stand alone selections which I intend to try. What a great store to have in town. Highly recommend.
