I've been here before to get used tires mounted on my vehicle. Today I go in with two tires to be mounted. I told the guy what I needed and he said ok. Then told me it was going to be about 1.5 hrs to wait. I told him I wad willing to wait. Once he came back to take my information, he entered it all my info into his tablet. He then asked which tires I wanted to buy, I told him that I already told him I had two in the back of my vehicle to put. He then proceeds to tell me that he can not install them because they are mismatched. I told him that I have them do it before with no problems. At this time, he was basically calling me a liar saying we never put on mismatched tires. I don't live in town. I love 30 minutes away. Just got off a ten shift just to be called a liar and refused service. Corporate was called and an investigation had been stated. Never using their service again as long as this guy works there. Very rude. All because I wasn't buying new tires from him.

Really disappointed to find out my daughter had to stop for a few last minute items yesterday afternoon (Christmas Eve) she checked out, put a $50 bill in the self check out machine, and it never registered. She was then told by an employee she needed to pay for her items...at which time she explained she already had, but was waiting on her change. The employee called her a liar, and threatened her with police involvement due to her trying "to scam" the store. My daughter repeatedly requested a manager, but only after several more employee's accusing her, calling her a liar, and causing a scene...did a manager finally come (about 20 minutes into the ordeal.) The manager also implied she hadn't put $50 in to pay. All the while the lady in line behind her was claiming she witnessed my daughter put the money in the machine. Once the manager opened the payment door the $50 bill was right there. It was rudely handed to my daughter, without an apology, or even a single word being said as the manager and employee's just walked away. It absolutely disgusts me that she was treated in this manner. I understand that town has gone to $hit with the caliber of people residing there. Drugs are rampant, and I'm sure there's a high percentage of theft occurring at that location. However, my kid isn't a burn out dope head, and doesn't steal. She's more than capable of affording anything she needs. Next time this mama bear has some Walmart shopping to do...I fully plan on acting accordingly to any interaction I have with their employee's!!

This Walmart is great, if a little picked over. The produce section is often not fully stocked, but I guess that's a good sign people are eating healthy! We've only had good experiences at this location, and it has A LOT of self-checkout, which is just amazing.

Its a great store. Dont get me wrong. The only downside is that it can sometimes be difficult to find items. And staff will only tell you the isle to find them. The electronics section staff were super friendly on my visit and there is a lot of variety on choices to make for product.

Ordered tires to be installed today. When I got there the guy complained about being short staffed. Then said they can’t install because I only purchased 2 tires. Took tires to another tire company and got installed. 2nd time the tech at Walmart turned me away to take my business elsewhere. Lesson learned will never purchase anything from the service center again. You don’t want my business then you won’t get my business!

Today it was not good I didn't see any scooters by the door or anyone on a scooter today I had my eyes open for one and self checkouts are all closed down they were only accepting cash or check

I am now shopping inside the store once a month. The Nations Benefits debit card can only be used inside the store. It can not be added to my Walmart wallet. The inside of the store is well organized. I use the Walmart app while shopping to find items when I do not know where the items are. Unfortunately, the store map was not working while I was shopping.I mostly shop online and pick up my groceries. The associates who load my groceries are very polite and friendly. This system works very well for me. I can customize the substitutions I would like for most of the items. I usually pay with a link card or credit card, which is saved for easy checkout.The only problem I've had is with some items that have been shipped. Not all sellers give good descriptions of their items and have not replaced missing parts. I have received some compensation for this from Walmart by receiving discounts on my next purchase.

I absolutely love this place! The staff is awesome! They've got everything you need and someone to help you find it if you can't! Everything has changed so dang much you can't find anything!! The only thing that didn't move is the freezer section, and I just figured out where everything was.

I WANT TO MAKE A CALL TO ANYONE IN CHARGE OF THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE WALMART PHARMACY, THEY ARE DOING A VERY BAD JOB REGARDING MEDICATIONS AND THE USE OF THE SYSTEM, SINCE YESTERDAY, October 24, THEY COULD NOT FIND AN ANTIBIOTIC IN THE SYSTEM RESET BY THE HOSPITAL after FOR SEVERAL MINUTES ON THE PHONE THE HOSPITAL CONFIRMED THAT IT HAD BEEN SENT again. He returned to the pharmacy and when they finally found it, they did not have it ready today, the 25th, again we do not have antibiotics to cure children. It is frustrating that this happens, it is about medications. Let's raise awareness about something extremely important.

I was back by the garden section and seen employees making out where is the head management? Why isn't HR notified by security? I believe cameras should be reviewed to get rid of this kind of behavior! I will be contacting corporate as well.

They finally got it Right! Walmart Supercenterhas finished rearranging & moving 80% of this store around. Now you can find items so much more conveniently.The produce seems much fresher too. There's a good variety of meats that are put out different times of the day when needed too

Today at Marshalltown Iowa, all checkouts were open, and there were plenty of employees . All were pleasant and helpful. Bathrooms were clean. A big change in Marshalltown....I will shope here instead of Grinnell.

If I could give less than one star I would, I called 6 different times to get someone to answer one simple question about an item that may or may not be in stock and then I got lied to about not being able to order items at this time of night. Hands down the worst customer service I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Walmart is the ghetto target.

So big, so much stuff. Between the on-shelf products and adjacent specialist zones - you can make numerous trips and still be discovering 'hidden treasures'. Not a place for a 'quick shop', unless you know what you want and where to find it.The `section map' is great. Sections are well maintained by assigned team members. I loved the varieties - then struggled to make the decision with some items. Good value...Clean, well set out store with pristine bathroom facilities available. Plenty of easy access parking spaces and easy access main entrance. Pleasant, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff.

Has want I almost every time I go there. It honestly about the only place to buy a lot of things and most items are lowere there. Its sometimes hard to find help but thats management's choice not to have people working. Love and hate the self outs!! I like getting out quickly IF there is a checkout open but that's sometimes gard to find. If u ask or have an issue there isn't enough people to help because they have to cover so many.

Will never get my oil changed here again! Drove home and checked the oil pressure and it was a half a quart low. A friend of mine got her oil changed at the same time and also was half a quart low. I guess that's how there able to give lower prices.

Of all the walmarts I've been to from California to Iowa this has been the cleanest, most well attended walmart yet. No mess, products all stocked and faced. Everything clearly labeled and priced. Needed help getting some c02 cartridges from a locked cabinet in sporting goods and within a minute of pushing help button an employee was there. He greeted me kindly, helped me get what I needed and sent me on my way with a thank you and have a nice day. Very refreshing to be in a town where not only the citizens are kind, warm hearted folk, but even those working retail(which I know is stressful) are also kind and warm hearted. I'm very happy to call Iowa my new home.

They allow overnight truck parking, but tractor only, no tractor-trailer. Quiet parking. Though I'm not sure if they have parking lot security, I didn't see any. Just please, keep the garbage in the bin, not the lot.

Current four-star review (May 2023):I've boosted my three star review to four stars, due to some recent key improvements. Walmart changed the online grocery pickup site (now parallel to Goodwill) and added many more slots. So I was able to reserve a time the next day, rather than the day after. (We often opted to not place an order if we couldn't get a slot the next day.)Also, this was the first time I'd placed a pickup order that all of the items were available.Lastly, the major store reset looks to be a definite improvement. I haven't yet checked out in the store since the overhaul, so I don't yet know if the wait times have improved or not.---------------------------------------Previous three-star review:Usually a fairly long to very long wait in the checkout lines; seldom enough open checkouts to efficiently check out shoppers. Frequent out of stock items on pickup orders, even on common items such as brand hotdogs.

The place is a dump shelves aren't stocked I realize they're moving things around but it's actually no different than usual. Store employees are standing around in clusters unhelpful do not greet you poor customer experience. If your all the time suspect is colored people, I will not come to this store. I decided to go 42 miles, Ames. At Ames store, they never circle me, watch me how I scan items. I ordered my son a bike and Walmart shipping messed the order up after 4 phone calls of being lied to and hung up on finally after providing the proof they messed up the supervisor Lawrence took no responsibility and only returned my $ with no apology even. The representatives need more training and the supervisors need more customer experience education.

Allowed me to park my semi truck and trailer overnight. Store is clean and well stocked. I've been to tons of Walmarts across America and know what Walmart is trash. This one I will visit again

I went to Walmart to pick up just a few things and went to the self checkout and found out the new checkout DOES NOT take cash anymore! Do they realize seniors don't like using credit cards and only have cash?! Obviously NOT or there would be checkouts where you can use cash! Sure wish there was a Target in town!

Store is weirdly laid out. Stuff wasn’t faced correctly. Stockers need to do better. Front end associates were very rude to me. Bought only alcohol and soda cause it was cheaper than some places. Might as well have gone to Kwik star or Casey’s instead. This store was very dirty to begin with.
