Check your receipt before you leave. Charged full price on a clearance item that I would not have bought otherwise, resulting in a $40 overcharge. I was tending to my toddler, so I didn't notice until I drove 30 miles home. The checkout clerk was too concerned about going on her break rather than accurately ringing up my purchase.

Any hobby lobby is one I spend a few hours in. They wake up my creativity and inspires me to keep doing more, spending less - You must try going during sales and deals, I had never left feeling disappointed!Great workers, always trying to think outside the box and exploring multiple options with you. They exceed their thoughtfulness and work hard by asking questions and assisting when they are on the floor, they also greet you with a harm smile as work together as a team to complete tasks.I had been going to many different locations and I absolutely love the atmosphere!Keep up the great work!

Stopped in to buy a birthday gift. Had no problem picking out a paint set. Gift bags were also an easy find. I'm not into crafts and home decor, but if you are you would be very happy there.

Yarn was on sale, but I only bought what I needed for projects. It would be so easy to clear my checking account there!The cashiers were friendly and helpful.I would've given them 5 stars of they still had their 40% off any regular priced item.

Another store filled with not expensive goods that demand expensive prices. It is unfortunate that alternative is Amazon for some of the goods they offer. It goes from one bad choice to the next. Framing department regular is the only shining point. He does a solid job. Most of the other employees are just so-so on service.

Knowledgeable, friendly staff that is always willing to help you find your next project. The clearance section is always full of great deals. Weekly specials rotate, so you can get a lot of product for 50% off and more. Huge scrapbook section. Lots of fabrics to choose from.There is a little bit of everything. Very clean store and happy employees.

Ok I love this store! There is something for everyone here! Looking for something for one of your hobbies? Crafting ideas? Gifts? Decorating? The list goes on! The aisles are spaced apart enough for even wheelchairs and walkers to move comfortably. Some individual stands could be spaced apart a little more though. Parking is large enough since it is located where the mall is but separate entrances. They have great deals going on every time I visit and some things may be pricy but in my opinion you get what you pay for as far as quality goes here and you don’t find these things very often so they are unique pieces depending on what you are looking at. All in all I love this store, I’m like a kid in a candy store here! ❤️😅😂

Lots of amazing things to look at and keep you busy for hours. I didn't find the wedding section to be as awesome as the rest of the store was. I didn't leave with any wedding items that I had hoped to buy that visit but I did leave with some other neat items that i enjoyed.

I love this place! If you have a hobby or special project, this is the place that has it all! Every item that tickles your fancy from faux flowers, bolts of cloth, picture frames, interior decorating, scrapbooking, model building, to framing for favorite pictures. Their seasonal decorations are pretty phenomenal too.

This is one of the nicer Hobby Lobby stores I've been to. The store is very clean and well stocked. I especially like the vignettes (displays with furniture, wall hangings, and accessories) they have set up to give customers decorating ideas!

Had to go to hobby lobby for some custom frames for pictures I got on my trip to Mexico. Great customer service all the way around and a wonderful price.. they told me all the options including the mark ups but not once tried pushing me into any of them. Kept the pictures very safely and securely and got stuff done ahead of schedule. I would and will use them again for any work like this. Was worth the 40 minute drive to get there.

5 stars because who doesn't love Hobby Lobby, but the real default to this location is if need help you have to wander around looking for someone and when you find them and ask for help they always seem to be annoyed by it. So I really only go in this location if I really need something that can't wait for me to drive to another.

Hobby Lobby is a good place to get craft supplies without driving all the way to the Michael's store in Ankeny. This said, they don't always have the best prices (at least not according to my very Scottish side)...yet their inventory for many hobbies and crafts beats Michael's by several miles.Just a warning: They are unabashed in their conservative Xian ways, especially regarding them being closed on Sunday, and regarding the music. So if you want a decent selection of inventory, you'll have to do your best to deal with not going there on Sunday, and tune out the tunes and focus on your shopping.I don't necessarily vibe with their choice of music either, but their candlemaking section is fab, their scrapbooking and planner selections are on point, and the jewelry making department is not bad either.I do wish they would more clearly label their stone/gem bead selection as to what each stone is, so that beginners know what they are working with. Thus the four stars, instead of five. But in a pinch, it beats waiting for something to arrive in the mail when you want to get something done pronto.

The price of fabric is ridiculous. Always make sure you take a coupon in. And if it all possible try not to judge the stupid rule they have about employees having to hide any visible tattoos. Listen, we know it's a tattoo when there's six bandaids covering their arm seeing the same Band-Aids for 7 months of shopping there. Your discrimination against your employees is disgusting. I really like some of your cute decorative stuff though so I continue to come back. I guess I have no soul.
