We brought our 60lb husky mix here March 10th to have her groomed. I made the appointment online which was very easy. The following day an associate at the store called me to let me know that they would have to reschedule the appointment because the groomer was not there. The alternative appointments offered were at odd times, like 7PM or even further out. So I took what they had and showed up on time. They told us what time she would be done but when we went to go pick her up at the time they told us, she still wasn't done. We gave them and extra 45 minutes to finish and when we came pick her up, I asked If they expressed her glands, and their response was, "No, it wasn't requested, we don't do it unless the owner requests it." I replied that when I had booked the appointment, that was one of the main reasons I brought her in and there was no asterisk or fine print indicating gland expression was available upon request, it was specifically listed a service included in the price I paid. Her response was, "I can offer you 25% coupon." At this point, all I wanted was to have her glands done so we could leave but she said she had just got done blow drying her and didn't seem interested in trying to make the situation right. I went to checkout and I even tipped. But I simply can't recommend their service after the experience we had.

They never seem to remember what was done and talked about in the last visit. Wanted to have just a little hair taken off, instead, they shaved the dog completely. Just because there was one small knot at her neck. Why not just cut that section shorter and rest of it longer? They seem to take the easy path, which is not worth paying so much money for. Also her tail was shaved which was completely unnecessary, even after asking not to change the tail.

They did an excellent job of grooming my dog even though he was extra difficult to get brushed out. The staff was extremely helpful and completely explained the process. They also made some helpful recommendations.

They were very good with Macbeth. They said that her skin was a little dry and advised me to add salmon dog food to help with the dryness. They also advised me to play with her feet so she will get used to having her feet handled for trimming her nails.

We have been taking Kaia and Nisku here for the past couple of years for all their grooming needs. They love when we pull into the petco parking lot and get super excited. The groomers treat them with love and respect like they are their own fur kiddos, and that to me makes it worthy of high score.

We really like groomer Logan at the NE Cedar Rapids/Marion location. Tucker always looks great and fully groomed. We have tried other local groomers but we will continue to return to this Petco location as long as Logan is there!!!

I came in for a walk in nail trim and they got me in and out in no time. The other place across the street is a joke and have to call before going to make sure they are open and if they are open and go in for a nail trim, you have to wait a half hour before they get to you. I'm glad there is another option so close.

We were just there for toe nail trim, my dog hates her nails done, they made available 3 employees to make she was safe and the nail trim was done in just minutes.
