Pure pleasure to step inside this awesome place! When you walk into the door the aroma is amazing 🤩 The coffee is fantastic and I would highly recommend the scones! What a way to support local entrepreneurs, they carry such a great variety of quality products which are from farm to table! Our granddaughter gives their ice cream a two thumbs up! Fantastic place you will not want to miss when you come to Maquoketa, Iowa!

Stopped in on our trip by Maquokta, really enjoyed the nice selection of cheese. Grabbed a pizza and snacks. Worth the trip, super friendly staff!

They have a lot to offer. Candles,T -shirts, meats, cheeses, ice cream, wine,pasta,chocolate…… I could go on but you just need to stop in yourself.

This is a one stop shop for all things meat and cheese.... As well as coffee, boba, and hand dipped ice cream. Several types of seasoning, soup and mixes to cook with. Local is in the name and everyone is treated like one. It's a family owned store that runs a farm for the milk cows for cheese as well as the beef stock.

I like Moores Local usually but today was kinda poor on their part, the manager I believe and the othr couple of employees were talking to other customers near the tables inside and didn't even acknowledge me being there, poor sense of customer service. As well as I was made to feel uncomfortable with what I was ordering becuz it's not the norm and the chick cudnt understand or get my drinks rite, they weren't that complicated either 2 ingredients stir and whala, your done it isn't that hard to do, at least it shouldnt. Honestly kinda ticked off a bit for the bizarre and disappointing customer service that was witnessed. The high schoolers were betr employees honestly and they knew my usuge betr as well.

Great local shop. They know how to make an awesome latte. The espresso itself is a little weak for my taste, but that's just a personal preference. Small town support for local businesses. And I love the cow stickers!!

We stopped in while on vacation. It was a great little store with tons of options while we were camping. We made the Mac ‘n Cheese brats tonight and they were a hit. Thanks for the great ice cream!

Lots of cheeses and different flavors. Salsas, dip mixes, frozen Dog bones. Brats, bacon and the girls at checkout were great!

Great selection. Bigger than it looks. Definitely worth the first trip just to see all the variety. Great Coffee shop too. Plus sandwiches etc. Great service plenty of parking so far. Bound to get more crowded as more people discover this gem.

What an amazing find on our trip! Local cheeses, dips, meats, snacks, salsa, candy, honey & more! & got my coffee fix on this rainy, chilly, day!!If you’re ever in the area-check this place out!!Friendly & amazing owner & just sorry we weren’t on our way home, so we could’ve loaded up on more of the delicious items these folks offer...Also, great RV parking options!!

I LOVE this place. I went in for extra-salty pretzels and left with some ice cream and candy. Some things you can only buy at Moore Local, it is worth making the extra stop on your way home. I am a huge fan of what is happening at Moore Local-fan for LIFE!! ❤❤❤❤

Unassuming little place with a lot of surprises! Several grilled cheese options, salads, etc for a light (but delicious) meal, ice cream, shakes, malts, all kinds of coffee drinks, and of course a nice variety of local cheeses and local meats. Several types of bacon, a huge variety of brats, summer sausage, etc. Worth the stop!

I love this store’s connection to the cows, the land and the community. As a first generation dairy farmer myself I admire what Heather has been able to accomplish. Moore Family Farm’s mild cheddar is absolutely delicious; my kids call it the ‘good cheese’ and request it all the time. We’ve had Moore Family Farms mail multiple gift baskets for us and the recipients have always been thrilled!

Moore Family Farms is such an amazing place and a huge asset to Maquekota, Iowa. We love the fresh seasonal produce, the great tasting lunch options, not to mention the brats/meat, spreads and of course the cheese. Fresh, local and fun...what more is there to ask for?
