Special shout out to Veterinary Associates of Manning for saving Mr. Walter.This week Walter had surgery to remove a small piece of Corn on the Cob (the cob part) from his intestine 🌽 Walter is known to eat anything and everything.But you can’t get more Iowan than that 🙃At first we had no idea what was wrong and neither did they. But they kept him until they figured it out and kept us updated every step of the way.I drive to Manning for my pets because of they don’t look at my pets as a number walking through the door. They truly care and build relationships with my animals.Text updates, calls in the middle of the night, and more. They are always there and care so much.They truly saved his silly butt’s life and I will be forever thankful. 🖤

Ellie was brought in over the weekend for vomiting & stayed in their care for a few days. Thankfully with x-rays, ultrasound & screenings they found the problem. I am very thankful on how Ellie was taken care of. Now that she is on proper meds to cure the problem she is on the road to healing. I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else.

I ran over my pup at 9pm on a Mondays few months back, I called the emergency number and was advised to bring him in the next morning. After a very long night, we brought him down the next morning after they opened. I was concerned with his breathing, but was dismissed as pain. They took two pelvic X-rays and sent us home with a diagnosis of bilateral broken pelvis with multiple fractures and was told he would heal in a few weeks/months. I was at the vet from the time I walked in the door to leaving place, less than 30 minutes. When I asked about surgery, I was told it was costly and not in my budget, but how did they know what my budget was? After administering pain medications when we got home, his breathing didn’t improve. I got a second opinion that afternoon. It was then my dog was diagnosed with a diaphragmatic hernia. I have been told by multiple vets and people that there is no way this should have been missed if a proper exam and especially if proper X-rays were done. Without surgical intervention, he would have died. It still baffles me that he lived as long as he did without surgery. It was negligent that he did not get a proper exam and care. Thank the Lord I found another vet that not only took proper X-rays, did not one but two surgeries to ensure that my dog would live, and did so with compassion. Something this place obviously lacks.

Best place in the area. They went out of their way to let me know when it would be cheapest to neuter our dog, most places wouldn't do that. We moved all of our pets veterinary needs over to Manning after AMVC wanted to charge me over $300 more for the same surgery. He had something going on with his ears as well and instead of just prescribing the meds like AMVC did, they taught us how to clean and care for his ears to prevent future issues. It's abundantly clear they care for animals and not just their bottom line.

Oh my gosh, this place is awsome and so are everyone there. They make you feel welcomed and make you feel like they have known you for years. So much affection for my 2 pups. They spent lots and lots of time checking them out. They listen to your concerns and allow you to ask questions. They don't rush you out the door.

Veterinary Associates are good to and with our pet, we take our pet for grooming and shots. They operated on our dog, when his tail was injured. I would recommend Veterinary Associates to anyone.

Roxanne and the whole staff is amazing! Even though everything Charlie was going through they were compassionate when the decision had to be made to do the humane thing and letting Charlie go to doggie heaven.

Who would've thought that Carroll County has their own exotic pet vet!?!My son has a somewhat rare, 6 year old exotic Blue Iguana that was quite ill recently and did not appear that she would live much longer. Dr. Rexanne Struve diagnosed Aja with Metabolic Bone Disease and began aggressive treatment. Within only a few weeks, she made a complete recovery!! We were astonished! We praise her skill and knowledge and thank our lucky stars that she was so nearby and so wonderful!! THANK YOU!!

Took my dog, Teddy up there and they were wonderful. They even sent me a thank you card! Great staff, clean facility, just all around a pleasant experience even though we were worried about Teddy being sick. (He is A-ok now!)

Had an emergency with my pregnant yorkie and they came in on a Sunday afternoon even though I am not one of there regular clients. They did not hesitate to help. Awesome docs and staff. Changing vets even though they are 20 miles away it is worth the drive.

Rexanne is the kindest veterinarian I have ever met she took care of my dog and my ferret and I can't find a veterinarian anywhere around that will take care of my ferret. I am so very pleased with the care my pets have been given I will not go anywhere else. The ladies in the office are very caring. If you're looking for a wonderful veterinarians office look no farther. They have all the latest equipment their staff as up-to-date on everything. This is the place to go for big and small animals.

Excellent service, very nice people and explain everything very well. I’ve taken my dog bo in a few times. Top of the line equipment and up to date on training. It is a little pricey but thats because of the latest equipment. They will work with you if you need to do payments. Furthermore, they have always answered the phone late at night and will come in on weekends for emergency visits.

Great staff and you could tell the care! I dropped my parents dogs off and I was running late and they waited for me. Even more over the dogs seemed comfortable as the staff knew them by name

Dr. Rexanne is so personable and based on the time she took to learn more about my dog, I could tell she truly cared. Before I got to the appt she had looked into some information regarding my dogs issue and conveyed genuine concern. Some vets fail to realize the utmost importance of their interaction with HUMANS in addition to the animals or pets. Rexanne was a good listener, and equally, provided good suggestions. The ladies in the office are also very kind. I may live 45 minutes away but this is where I now choose to vet. Thanks for all your help, guys!
