I believe that Hilltop vet.is the best . I have a very high hipper dog. I was afraid that he was going to bit somebody there. But they let him to get comfortable with the area and everything went just fine. I will recommend them to everyone that wants a animal vet.

Fantastic staff! wonderful doctors and amazing "nurses", & just all the way around a pleasant experience for myself & my pet!! They're very thorough with their procedures, & professional in their conduct, but also genuinely invested in the animals health & comfort, & the owners, as well! The front desk girls are amazing. The facility is clean and smells clean. The vet is a toss up. Sometimes he is nice, sometimes he is either too busy or not having a good day. But decent all in all

We have used this vet for a few years for our 3 dogs. Great for normal checkups, but the second you have an emergency situation instead of offering assistance or even listening to the symptoms their response is “we are busy” “make an appointment”. Then they resort to social media and lie saying that they were yelled and cursed at. When at no point was there cursing or yelling. What type of clinic talks so negative on social media about patients who call in frantic and emotional that their dogs are so sick they are terrified they won’t make it through the day and then get behind a keyboard and threaten to fire them as a patient. Rest assured my animals are my children and they will get better care elsewhere.

My Mastiff Gracie is getting up in her years and starting to get more fragile. She had an issue that needed attention and Dr. Joyce was booked solid. They took the time to help Gracie and me out and get us back on track even though we did not have an appt. Small town vet, small town ideals with big city expertise! I have several mastiffs and will only have Dr. Joyce tend to them. They genuinly care at Hilltop!

Hilltop goes above and beyond for the southwest Iowa residents (Glenwood, Malvern, Red Oak, PJ, etc). 9 times out of 10, if someone asks for a vet referral, they'll be directed to Hilltop, with a good reason! They are great with animals and do their best to serve to the fullest of their ability. COVID has made us all pet owners now, and due to this, more and more animals need veterinary care. Hilltop is VERY BUSY lately and tries their very best to schedule all those that need help.
