BIG thanks to Lowden for coming in clutch on one of the coldest days in recent memory. My furnace had a no heat condition and temps in the home dropped to 51 degrees overnight. Their tech, Austin came out within a half hour of calling and had the issue diagnosed with in minutes! After a control board replacement we have heat and the indoor temps are starting to return to a comfortable (and safe) level. Austin was very professional, knowledgeable and thorough while servicing our system. Thanks again!!!

I had them come look at my boiler and the technician was honest. Told me I would need a new boiler. He put a quote together in a day and the financing process is super simple and easy. Will definitely be suing them again and recommending them to other people. 5 stars for sure.

We were very pleased with installation of our new tub and surround. It happened that a blemish was noticed in a side panel after opening it and they quickly acted to get a different panel. Then, after the installation was complete another blemish was noticed in the tub. The installer told the office of the situation and they made the decision to replace the entire tub and surround the very next day. That morning the owner of the company came to our house to tell us they wanted to make it right. I was very impressed that he took the time to do that. I would highly recommend this company.

We had Lowden install a 4 ton AC unit in our 1,800 SQ FT bay and I couldn't be happier. After 10 years of owning a screen printing business without AC it was finally time and I was fortunate enough to give them a call first. The customer service was excellent - Lowden was able to explain the difference between a 3 ton, 4 ton, and 5 ton unit without any confusion. I can't emphasize that enough - there were zero issues explaining the price, the unit size, and recalling every detail we had talked about initially and throughout the process. The owner even took notes. When it was time to schedule - also - zero issues. The day they planned on installing the AC was the day the installed the AC. Todd is a rockstar. I walked into our bay the morning after and could've cried happy tears. 10/10 recommend.Service: Install AC

They were able to find the issue and fix it, and we were back up and running with AC during a hot week in April! Would recommend. Lowden Plumbing was at my house to replace and remove my old water heater. Service was prompt and professional. They also answered questions I had on other existing appliances. I called and 24 hours later I had a brand new hot water heater with flowing hot water. The two gentleman were clean and needed no supervision. I will use them for all my future Hvac and Plumbing needs. Small business is where it's at!

Originally was going to leave a 2 star review because they charged me almost $500 dollars to simply install a shower valve that I purchased. The plumbers who came were VERY nice to my family and made them feel comfortable, so that was a huge plus. The owners worked with me on a price (due to ignorance on my side - I didn't realized they charge for service right when then leave THEIR office) and after a conversation I left very much appreciated and felt valued as a customer so I felt like I should leave a positive review.Usually situations like this would leave me to never work with a company again, but I think when you talk through things and can be professional and reasonable, it goes a long way.

Had them check an old well for a windmill. They said it was good. Had them pull it and replace all the pipe and pump rod along with leathers on the pump. Once I had the windmill up it wouldn't pump. Ended up pulling it again on my own. The pump they put leathers in was worn out, they didn't even check to make sure everything was still good before replacing leathers and putting the pipe back in. I replaced the pump and then the well runs dry. The well wasn't still good. Another bad experience we had.. I had bought steel pipe from them, they ended up charging us for more length than what we bought. So we sent a correction and a check for the correct amount. They wouldn't own up to the mistake and said we still owed them money and to never do business with them again. Even though we could prove to them the length of pipes we had. Would give zero stars if given the chance.

This company is beyond disappointing. Our sewer was backing up and flooding our basement enough to be an issue. It was late in the afternoon and we didn’t have many options at all. We called around trying to get someone out as soon as possible. We found lowden plumbing and heating on google, they were 15 mins away from our house which was great! I called and spoke to someone asking for a quote to come out. I told him we needed someone to come snake our sewer drain because it was backing up. He said they charge $60 an hour and that is from when they leave their shop to when they return. That sounded fair so we asked them to come. I timed from when they first pulled up to our house to when they left. They were at our house 45 mins, so that plus driving time we were expecting a bill for around $120. They were nice, fixed our problem we thought it’d be great! A couple weeks later we get the bill. $278.20. We were charged for three hours of labor, plus an $80 rental fee for the sewer eel. We were floored and so upset when we saw that. When my husband went to the lowden store the man refused to help, and didn’t believe the quotes we’d received for the same job from surrounding businesses. Which were around the range we initially thought we’d be paying. He informed my husband that the invoice had already been issued so there was nothing he could do, and to go to a different office in lost nation. My husband went and spoke with Jody, a registered owner, and she would only remove the rental fee. We later found out they own their sewer eel. We were charged an $80 rental fee for equipment they own, and never told about it. The labor we were charged was because they sent two men out. An hour and half per person. The best take away we have from this is our sewer is working and we know to never go through lowden plumbing and heating for anything. I highly recommend you use another company. We wanted to use someone local, get it done faster, and that ended up not working to our advantage.

This was our first time working with Lowden Plumbing and it will be the last time. Highly recommend if you choose to work with them, sign a contract or sign to approve the quote to protect yourself from paying extras that you hadn't planned for. We were charged extra for labor they didn't quote or discuss the potenital for additonal labor charges and tacked onto the final invoice, $4,000+ more than quote. Communicating was always a challenge with this company. Even when we addressed in a letter and in person that the were overcharging they didn't feel they did anything wrong and didn't absorb charges that they should have.
