I have noticed a lot that the young staff and elderly staff are rude, no smile no greeting, I was always told that they are supposed to ask if you have rewards and several do not. The phrase about helpful smile in every isle is a lie now

It's interesting that the store only responds to favorable comments, ignoring those with constructive criticism. This is poor business technique. You already have the business of the favorable commenters. The challenge is to build your business by responding to and satisfying the needs of the others.

Not from that area, so I have only been in the store 2 or 3 times. Smaller than I am used to, but their product was really great in all areas. Especially their fruit. Small on otc medicine. But nothing to really complain about. Nice neighborhood store.

The bathroom was absolutely disgusting couldn't even use it. A lot food wasn't stocked and associates just kinda stared offered no assistance.

In 2020 and used my debit card and it was hacked into their system was so when I did that either way I had had my information exposed on the dark web and now for the last 2 years haven't gotten tax return and actually at the high v in Sioux falls they towed my trailer my to $5,000 blowers are $5,000 generator. And now let me stress is I'm not talking about highland or vredenbergs, is I know one of the Vredenbergs and he is a very very very down-to-earth. His great-great-great-grandfather would be rolling over in his grave if he seen how the the board directors which aren't blood related treat customers now. I'm not talking just lemars and even in Sheldon a pharmacist used my HIPPA information and got 6 day supply of a narcotic and never asked me as I did not need any I take him as prescribed but women pharmacist did that then I got flight by the federal government it looks like I was trying to get extra narcotics in all actuality they were wanted the cameras they see I wasn't even in there let alone at the pharmacy the two different days that happened I guess what bothers me the most is the fact that I'm friends with one of the founders family members and I've had $30,000 in my business equipment disappear so much of my life has been screwed up in a high v or IV parking lot and I'm at the point where I realize I'm only a mile away from my IV I go there to shop because I got nowhere else to go but either way will maybe Walmart but I'll leave that for a different subject either way though I don't care if I get harassed by the police still. I care about Americans getting the American civil Rights that they deserve in the liberties that they were born into.

I shop at HyVee often. Like every other day. I spend at least 1/4 of my paychecks on groceries. I was there the other day meeting my friend to talk about her wedding cake and I got a diet Coke and prescriptions from there pharmacy . So I did spend money. I was not just sitting there. After talking about her wedding cake details that she asked me to do a manager walked over to our table and asked for me to leave because I was conducting my business and they offer wedding cakes at this store. Unaware of this I quickly apologized and finished the conversation and left. Now, I do not own my own business I’m just a hobby baker out of own my kitchen that buys ALL of my ingredients and groceries from this location. I was extremely disappointed on how aggressive the manager was with me and extremely embarrassed. I totally support HyVee and would never intend on taking business away from them. I feel this situation could have been handled differently and for that I will never shop at HyVee ever again nor will my family. My grandma worked for HyVee for 15years in the kitchen and she was shocked that this small town store doesn’t support other small hobbies. Please do better next time HyVee. You will loose a lot of business in LeMars as word gets out how rude some of the new staff and managers are. Im sorry to leave this review but I had to make sure whomever reads these understands how LeMars HyVee is operating.

Nice place to shop! There is a deli in it too! The bathrooms are in the gas station. The aisles were easily labeled with signs! Nice pharmacy! Overall I would rather go here than Walmart! There are no self checkouts.

Terrible customer service today. I was told I could not get deli meat sliced. There was very little presliced which isn't a smart option anyway. I was told to come back in 10 minutes. I dont complain much but the customer service is very poor here. Dont go to customer service they seem very irritated everytime I go up there. I stopped going there a year ago because of poor service. Tried it again but they lost me.

This Hy-Vee is well packed! They manage to get a large assortment of grocery, drug store, florist, and pharmacy items into a fairly small space. There is a liquor store, too. The pharmacy is staffed with very kind, helpful ladies, who went out of their way to make sure I had my needed medication! I will go back when I am in town!

Could always be cleaner. Staff is typically friendly and certain ones are very helpful. Prices can get fairly high compared to local competition. Wish we had a big Hy-Vee like a lot of places around here. Was disappointed when they removed the Asian cuisine from the deli.

We've tried eating at deli twice since pandemic hit and the service has been very bad. Before the pandemic the service was very good. Don't what changed but we gave it 2 tries now and probably won't come in for Sunday morning breakfast until something changes.

Great place for groceries, but dont ever use their catering service. They gave us dirty tablecloths, left the food out for almost 2 hours when we had refrigerators in the kitchen, handed the bill to my father in law after the father daughter dance at my wedding. Worst Caterers EVER!

I'm still not happy with the meat departments grab and go style of things. Have gotten too many bad items out of it. Other then the meat department set up, I like the store and the staff. Everyone is friendly and helpful.

Ever since this store went up it has been a showcase with all of it's wonderful and unique features. One of the lesser talked about was the bathrooms - they were some of the nicest around. Last night I went there and was sorely disappointed. Somewhere along the way these have been grossly neglected. There was toilet paper on the floor, something disgusting wiped on the tp dispenser and not one single paper towel. As I went to leave with my wet hands I noticed the broken light switch. It looked more like a cheap gas station restroom than the ones they installed when the store opened. It was a quiet Saturday night - seems like someone should have had time to tidy up the restrooms.

Great local store! They have a gas station out front and a very good beer/liquor area out back. Hot food bar, nice frui/veggies section. Crew is friendly and quick to help you.

Due to location I don't have alot of opportunities to shop at Hy-Vee's. But I was able to get in to this one in Le Mars Iowa. The store was very impressively clean the staff was very helpful and full of smiles. I won't hesitate to stop here again

Twice in the last two months I have purchased chicken from this store and upon opening was hit with an overwhelming stench. I am not at all exaggerating the fowlness of the smell. The first time I returned it for a refund. The second time I threw it away. Sadly I am now getting groceries at Walmart.

Other than the long hair in my food, it was great. They did give us a gift card for my portion of tge meal. The sevice was very friendly. The food WAS DELICIOUS. Even if they had not given me the giftcard. I will go back. The portions are great for the price. It was a great place all in all. This was my meal for 20.00.

Hy Vee prices need to be more on par with the likes of Wal Mart and Fareway. Also, they really need to work on their meat department. From personal experience I will never purchase meat from their again. Their staff in the store are great and it's always clean.
