We live about an hour away but try to make the drive for a special treat whenever we can! The ice cream is SO good!! So much memorabilia to look at and you can watch a video on the history of Blue Bunny in the theater! You can dine upstairs or downstairs or on the ROOF outside when it’s nice. Wheelchair friendly. CLEAN! Super fun place to go! You can drive around town and look for the 55 ice cream sculptures when you are done!

Would love to bottle up the smell when you first walk in! 😋 The staff was super friendly, quick, offered lots of options, and they looked like they were enjoying their work!We ordered a wide variety of options and they were all delicious! We sat in the upper level, this place is so fancy looking! Went in their little movie theater and watched how ice cream is made. Really neat place! 👌

Always a fantastic visit for ice cream and to visit the museum exhibits. We love eating ice cream on the 3rd floor rooftop in the summertime! All of the varieties of ice cream in the display counter makes us want to come back for more. I also appreciate that they offer a kid-size cake cone. The rental room space is inviting, clean, and well-done.

Such a fun place to go visit. If you are in the area, it is a must to stop at. The history, the town, the staff, the historical value to the area that blue bunny ice cream has contributed. It really was neat to see and visit. The center is so well kept and maintained, the staff delightful. Seriously, stop by!

Well worth the stop, the staff was so polite and the atmosphere was so fun! We went on the rooftop, hung out for games on 2nd floor and of course picked up our ice cream and some gifts in the gift area!

Great place to stop and get your Ice Cream Fix. Every flavor of Ice Cream is for sale. I choose Bunny Tracks flavor and it was Delicious. Two single dips of ice cream served in a waffle cone cost $9. This place is an Iowa Treasure - make sure to check it out.

Update: 2/3/2024My mother was visiting from Mississippi, so my husband and I brought our friend back along with my mama. My mom really enjoyed the museum and ice cream. She was "tickled pink" to get her picture made by the ice cream cone outside and to get a picture of the building.*****June, 2023.My husband and I had come before, but we brought our friend to celebrate her 70th birthday. We didn't realize it was Ice Cream Days. My husband and I think the "frozen dairy dessert" tastes better here than what we buy at Walmart.The space for the ice cream line and items for sale in the gift shop is tight. The line for ice cream winds through the gift shop around the right wall, moves along between people who are buying and choosing their ice cream and then loops around until the walker becomes the chooser. If I had a suggestion, it would be to let the line go directly from the outside through the line. Stanchions and ribbons or chains could be added here to wind people back and forth leading them to the ordering zone. Or, in the interest of keeping hungry hordes of ice cream eaters cool, warm, and/or out of inclement weather, I would have the buyers move along to the left, walk along the wall of the seating area and go completely past the gift shop as they make the right turn to the wall they walk now and continue the same way. That way they wouldn't tie up space in the gift shop just shuffling along to get in the ice cream line. Or, if the gift shop route truly has to be utilized, funnel visitors from the front door, through the gift shop, take a turn to the left and hug the wall through the sitting area, cross the entrance, and start their order at the freezer case just as they do now.The museum is good quality. I haven't purchased anything from the gift shop as there's nothing I need. I like the photo spot ice cream cone out front. This is a nice place to visit and bring friends.

I loved the ice cream 🍨 varieties and flavors. Delicious and fresh. There's a rooftop deck, gift shop, interactive games for kids, a Wells Enterprises video room, and history on the walls. You have to check it out. It's a must see and must eat stop if you're passing through.

Great selection of ice cream and frozen treats. Service is great. Went there 15 minutes prior to closing, and I asked if we could still order and all three girls working were very sweet about it. The building itself is fun to look around and learn about the history of Wells and take some fun pictures. Also has a nice view of downtown.

Great experience! Clean, lots of variety, and plenty of room for sitting and enjoying your treat. Get the flight - four scoops of your choice! Not on the menu board, but they will take care of you!

Interesting little town known for its' "Blue Bunny" Ice Cream production. They call themselves the 'Ice Cream Capital of The World'. Nice ice cream parlor in the downtown, but always seems very packed with people (that's good and bad).

Their frozen dairy dessert is pretty good. Almost as good as ice-cream. Not quite, but almost. Here's a piece of advice for them...put more real cream in it. Then you can call it ice-cream!

Stop by on our way from minneapolis to omahand never sorry about having ice cream at this great place. Chocolate cherry chunk and mango were excellent as well as the strawberry cheesecake.

This is a must stop if you are traveling through LaMars, Iowa. The Blue Bunny Ice Cream Parlor is a nostalgic trip back in time. Over 100 flavors of ice cream on hand in a old fashioned soda fountain setting. I stop every time!

I went here with a group of guys from Spain that barely spoke any English. The guys were really excited to try out the ice cream even though it was blistering cold outside. I was quite entertained solving the numerous messed up Rubik's cubes they had there.Nonetheless, it was a nice spot being new to the area.
